    My births were all c-sections. They did bring me the placenta so I could see it. I thought it was beautiful. Like you, I was amazed at what our bodies did.

    Those lanisoh packs are microwaveable too! You can use them as ice packs or for heat, so they're a good bang for your buck!

    Wow breast feeding my 3rd kid and I didn’t know about that milk ease heating pad thing .... all I can think is how great it would have been the last time I had a clogged breast ... I use a heating pad but that thing would have just fit around it perfectly. I am definitely ordering one just in case it happens again.

      @@candyluna2929 I think people push essential oils too hard, and too much. Especially Young Living. I'm all for being gentler on our planets and bodies, but I don't trust Young Living or most of the bs they preach.

    Are you practicing as a clinical dietitian? You seem to be too "pro-natural", not the typical allopathic type.

      Emmy Knobel i honestly dont really care if anyone wants to eat their own placenta pills but if i am a professional dietitian/nutritionist, i would be careful at making comment/suggestions to what to eat and must be based on scientific studies and proven reasons to eat that. Just my thought tho 😬🤷🏻‍♀️😁

      @alyssaa88 Před 5 lety +4

      She’s speaking from a personal point, not professional. There’s a difference and she need not be critiqued as a mom for just trying to do her best for both herself and her baby.

    • @NaomiSwanson
      @NaomiSwanson Před 4 lety

      Just watching this video now, I had to take a lot of nutrition classes to become a RDH and a lot of the information was not evidence based and if you look into the companies supporting myplate/govt recommendations- it’s not a bad idea to do your own research. Also, she’s just doing what works for her 😊

    To think all I did was give birth naturally and let my body do the healing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Is all this necessary? I guess this is the difference between the 1990s and today.

      I also gave birth naturally in the 90's and most of these things were available then. I used some of them. If they made her feel better and she wants to share ideas with others then what's the problem???
