  • In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how I made this BOLD take on the fault line cake. For this design I decided to do a spiral design and add texture to the buttercream by using a texturing Comb. I have to say that while this cake is striking, it is deceptively quick and easy to do! I hope you enjoy this and learn something new!!

    Hi beautiful work i love!! This cake under tempetlrature 27grades will resist or is too high and will melt? I mean for the buttercream will resist?

      Unfortunately I only know Fahrenheit.;( Can you tell me what that would be? I can say that I would leave it in anything higher the 72 degrees for any length of time.

      I would but I honestly don't typically work with a less sweet version. Where I live, stability is sometimes an issue and the recipes with plenty of sugar are more stable. If I come across a good one, I will share;) I do use a Swiss Meringue sometimes though and some people find it less sweet.

      I haven't personally charged for any cakes in the past couple years, but I would say around $100 for a 6". Prices of ingredients have gone waaay up;(
