Yes - this is a very highly requested video following my series "Web Developer reacts to incredible websites". In this video, we look into a variety of websites and web applications all made with three.js, and each one serving a different purpose. The flexibility of web development amazes me every single day!

The fingerspelling is just perfect, nice design, perfect manage of the three.js with the hand element, also with recognition with the camera and a percentage match.

I think the website has been done with video synced with the scroll effect on mouse, without CSS.
Just a very thoughtful process imo.

On the first website with the train, at one point there is a Clock on a building and it actually shows the current time!

Nice one, I wish I could've provided you a website link which I've built for my client, which involves lot of 3d, textures, direction part, ambient light, color etc using 3js, but unfortunately it's restricted for internal users!!

you should do one based around 3D CSS. So elements of the websites that you think would be achieved with something like a 3D Javascript library, but they are just using some seriously well made css using perspectives, maybe with some GSAP thrown in for good measure.

Filip you might didn't try but if you turn of the music in the flamingo one, the flamingo will 1st indicate towards the option to turn it on, if you don't it will turn by own click it...try
that flamingo one is fun .. the flamingo reacts on the sound .. there is sound icon there on the left down and flamingo starts dancing then you turns it on and it you turns the music off then it gets mad and turn it back on...
@Filip The 3rd website is not just a dancing flamingo. The flamingo will react if you play around with buttons like turn OFF the volume. It will Turn it ON.

hi there, i want to know something, which you recommended for a major, computing web development or software engineering? im doing my last year from college, im a software developer technician. i want to know which one of this major you recommended and why
I'm not sure how much the specification of the majors differ, but if you are looking to pursue web development, definitely lean towards computing web development. If you are looking for jobs that are more related to infrastructure, cloud, backend programming, core algorithms - you most probably want to lean towards software engineering ;)

Thanks for supporting! I would avoid diving into jQuery, as it’s quite old and not often used anymore. There are better libraries out there. I’d very much recommend Next.js - it’s the future for me!

On the parallax effekt: wouldn't it be possible to implement a simple animation engine to achieve this effect? Then you can basically put a list of objects in a rendering list and each object contains the image to render, a start position, start rotation and a timestamp at which the animation starts, and also a end position, end rotation and ending timestamp (timestamp => mouse scrolling)?
That actually seems more difficult than an actual x/y axis parallax effect 😜
@@developerfilip I actually dont think so. You just do (endPos - startPos) / (endTime - startTime) and you have the movement that has to be done for each timestep (same can be done for rotation)
@@bgfxc4570 but you also need to take into consideration the scale, and keep track of it throughout
@@developerfilip scale of what do you exactly refer to? If you refer to the scale to achieve the 3D effect: I think you do not have to handle it by yourself, three.js should do the job.

Thanks you! I actually have that book, and as nice and sexy it looks, it never really helped me. Get yourself a course on udemy or find some great tutorial on CZcams - I think you will be better off!

Actually it is camera movement, check out how parallax works in depth!
I think the first site was created by Unity or Godot or something like that. Anyone can do it easily with the game engine. If he had made this himself, that would be absolutely amazing

"Parallax"... It's not parallax. Parallax is there use of 2d to create the illusion of 3d... But they were actually using 3d effects. So it's just perspective of 3d objects
Go back to Pablo The Flamingo, turn on the music and try to mute it. You've pretty much missed why I love to send out this website to friends, lol
