I feel good watching Stan use his amazing abilities and educating me. I cannot thank you enough for the experience. I also thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous squares you fabricated in a long series several years ago, now that I could afford a set they are just a fine memory but thanks for that too

I watched every episode, the small details on every project are what makes or breaks the final end result. The execution of the project managing the small detail work is what makes money for the contractor, miss too many details and reworking mistakes takes time and money and sucks the profit out of a job. Stan is the man!

Thanks for sharing the build Stan. Your coverage of the details is top notch and appreciated by this "how it's made" blue collar junky. Take care/greg

Having visited a much smaller and less automated powder coat plant a long time ago, it's been good to see how a scaled up and automated plant is built these days. Looks like we will have only a few videos before you sign out from that mission and move onto your next project. I realise not many watch these, but that's their loss, as there's a lot of content that reflects the detail that goes into putting one of these projects together with all the supply chain issues. That's not counting the many unexpected hurdles that have to be crossed to reach completion...

Last week I told Heather you had maybe two-three weeks left. Just in time to start planning the Bash!! Now you can cross "spend a winter in Fort Wayne" off your bucket list.

I for one enjoy this series, I work for a company that has 3 powder coating lines, one of which uses a Gema spray booth. The whole system is over 20 yrs old, the difference in methods and technology are amazing . Thanx Stan for showing this project, I completely love your channel and it’s diverse content.

Don’t get why videos of this aren’t popular. I’ve been watching and enjoying this huge project. Big job n big bucks. It’s been very informative and thanks for sharing. Following from Sydney Australia.

Always a good way to start Saturday morning. Seeing the progress of work completed and Stan's whiskers growth.

Can say that we've watched the series thus far, quite interesting realizing how many different trades you and your crew handle. Your home base is a couple blocks from my family (Rancho C / Alta Loma area). Always meant to go the "Bash", never have found the time.. yet. We run a small job shop (Vapor blasting / zinc plating / motorcycle restoration) in Santa Clarita, Ca. humbled by your Hot Shot oven invention and selling the package to a larger entity, your ground square set, etc. Truly an entrepreneur, kudos!

Thanks Stan. Industrial videos showing the guts of America are fascinating. Thanks for what you do.

That snap together spray bar system is pretty cool. Have you been to see the NKP 765 steam loco in Ft wayne? It is an impressive piece

Love the format of the weekly update!
20 weeks and going seems a long time, do you miss your shop and time for the own projects?

Another one here of those who are genuinely interested! Seeing all that goes into creating industrial installations puts a lot of things into perspective! (Full disclosure: I'm one of those pesky engineers on the other side of the fence haha, even though in a very different field.)
I was actually looking forward to the next project, and if you get a long remote one like this, some views would still be better than no views right? How much do you spend though at the end of every week editing?

    • @ShadonHKW
      @ShadonHKW  Před 4 měsíci +1

Not a lot of time editing, shoot the video segments in a logical order, and assemble the video like building blocks. Comments like these make it worthwhile.

The wash down line is before the powder coat area on this line?
Do you have to do an As-Built drawing for these after you finish your assembly or does that fall to someone else? DO you have a good system for that? My friend deals with this on another end of your industry and we had discussed how to actually get accurate as-builts done for some of his systems (conveyors and racking).
I enjoy the videos, Stan, thanks for making them.

I care! Industrial construction in particular and construction in general is ]like eating candy for me.

  • @gt.1984

Industrial installation is a foreign (but fascinating) world to me - I'm always watching with my mental gears grinding about what it all costs against my only metric of replacing the sewage pump in our septic tank.
Re: Views 🤔 I'm thinking highlights of a night out at the strip club for next time.
Oh sure, Puddles Pity Party is fine and all, but givin viewers a woody instead of PTSD has gotta be better for views. Well, speaking for myself, anyways....🤡 😁
