It’s so important to remind people that they don’t need the exact products to get the look you demonstrate. If I have a bronzer I like, for example, what a great idea to use it!! I think I was captured for a long time by the fantasy that if I got the same products used in a video that I would look just as beautiful as that person on my screen. But, invariably, I would end up looking like me 😉

Getting ready for work and out of the house quickly has always been a huge challenge for me so I find these videos extremely helpful.
Great job! Really enjoyed this! Made me rethink the value of my time. Why am I spending 20-25 minutes in front of the mirror when really 5 minutes would be fine. Does it REALLY make a difference in my appearance if I wear 4 colors of eyeshadow blended to perfection? No. I want to take those extra 20 minutes and take time to be productive, exercise, or just relax.

I’m blown away by how fast you did that. That exact routine takes me at least an hour! I need to practice more... I don’t wear makeup everyday. You are my makeup idol... I’m inspired💖
Definitely! She worked so fasr that I thought I was watching it sped up. If I worked that fast, everything would be uneven, blotchy, and sloppy. This routine would take me at least 10-15 minutes.
Make it fun next time...set a timer. (Then share it with us on instagram...LOL)

Great! Foundation, brows , lashes, gloss. I will do power foundation if I am in a super rush. I feel confident with a smooth complexion.. so, foundation is a must.
I have had an allergy reaction and have had to get comfortable with going out with bare skin. Patch test done and now having to change my brands, products with doing a lot of research. Can’t wait to apply makeup again.

Thank you Risa, I really appreciate your honesty, I definitely can relate. I used to have Brooke Shields type of eyebrows but because of over tweezing in the 90's and going to Salons that were a bit too wax happy and then re-colored in my brows one time for a wedding, along with my dermatitis my eyebrows will not budge. They come in a little and then keep falling back out. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I put a little Castor oil on my eyelids so my eyes are not so dry from staring at the (blue screen) computer but not directly on my eyebrows. I'm getting older and I know that's not helping, I really appreciate what you do Risa and are open to any opinions to somehow help re-grow some of my eyebrows. Thank you so much ❤

Great demo! I don’t spend much more time than that on the regular, it is helpful to see how you do it. No matter how much time I spend, I look about the same. Fun to see your techniques on all your videos! What you said about confidence is so true. This is all I'd ever want to do. I'm always so busy but even I could take 5-15 mins to do a nice easy makeup routine like this. Now I just have to find the money to buy the products needed

A quick question: Do you dampen your sponges when you apply foundation and concealer?? You look beautiful with this minimal look!
Risa I have to thank you again for the concealer tip. I still don't have the right shade but for 2 days this week I decided to use what I have. It really works. I went out in this HOT Cali weather and when I got home I had no creasing. In fact that concealer stayed put until I took it off. I also used that tip when it came to applying my face primer (I only use it on/near my nose and chin). Yep, it worked for me with that too. Tomorrow I plan to look for a shade that will work for me. Wish me luck, lol...

But Demi really saved my under eyes and blush just Demi colors and you have been the first one to say hooded eyes about excess skin in your eyes lids to not forget to look. Love this Risa!!💗 I have been using a matte ( medium) brown in my crease to help w hooded eyes. And tight line quickly;) but I skip Blush and bronzer and let some color come through. ( I use a powder foundation)
