I'm 68 and I have never seen a government that indeed works effectively without spending a heck more than any other private agency doing the same thing. After you live under communism, your ideas of government get a lot suspicious.

Drew Kirk, you sound like a libertarian (not to be confused with Libertines!) rather than a run of the mill conservative! Even conservatives enjoy exerting power over others through government. Libertarians want to control themselves and their governments, not the other way around. I might be mistaken but from your brief comment, that's what it sounds like! Of course there are varying degrees of Libertarians as in any "party", those degrees are just closer to each other with Libertarians. Everyone has their position regardless of party lines!

Man, what a speech!! Everyone (democrat, republican, or independent) should listen to this speech!! He gives the greatest definition of this country that I’ve ever heard in a single talk! I’ve heard him on TV giving little sound bites, but he’s not good TV material (unfortunately). This is the first time I’ve actually HEARD him. Pat Caddell is a long-time Democratic plantation resident, so if he's been Red Pilled, you know the party is truly Eff'd Up.
I respect those kinds of Democrats, but I still think their ideology is fundamentally flawed. They sure can see when the government is overstepping, but they always vote for the government to hold more power over more aspects of our lives. So they create, feed and groom the tiger that will kill them by accident or on purpose, when it's full-grown. They put too much power in the hands of too few, and then they're all pissed-off, when the wrong people get ahold of that power. Democrat VOTERS don't seem to understand that such power is a MAGNET to the wrong kinds of people and corrosive to the BEST people.

One of the most revealing, informative political speeches I've ever heard. It fills in the gaps that were missing and I'd been looking for since 1980 and especially regarding suspicions I've had since 1992. Globalists, whether Democrat or Republican, are to be thought of much the same as communists AND fascists, not conservatives and liberals.

It doesn't. And that's the point. It is meant to disrupt the Republic, and change the demographic, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, alter the fabric of a United republic. That is only a small part of their plan. The more people here that overwhelmingly identify with their birth country, the less great America becomes. Democrats are out (now) to bring down the United States of America. Obama's "Hope & Change" was never about making America great again - it was about fundamentally transforming this country into a crippled, ineffective socialist regime, led by the Democrats in full power. Hillary was supposed to carry that mantle, but somehow the people are onto their scheme, and the media is still fighting the Lefts battle.

Pat here hit the nail on the head about getting rid of the established DC elite, but it's really hard to conceive of that happening, as there are just too many people that are blindly being led down the Left's path. Is truly one of the few remaining Pollster who practices his craft with Integrity and reports the data Honestly.
Mr. Caddell, came to my attention during the 2000 cycle. Election night his analysis & predictions of the way in which the electorate would vote was Astounding. His pre election break down of the mood/psyche of the American people was fascinating.
Subcquently every cycle Pat has been there delivering honest consensus of opinion. With one goal in mind enlightening American's, this is in stark contrast to the majority of party pollsters and data analysts. Since 2000 it has become common practice for the media, hollywood, both political partys to place IDEOLOGY over Country.
2016, Pat hit a grand slam against all the so called "experts" Pat and one other Dick Morris stood alone. Their Pre Election day analysis and predictions were magnificent. Yet you would find it difficult to hear their expertise on any of the network/cable news outlets. Tune into anyone of the msm broadcast all you will find is the same HACKS who were wrong on every prediction they made. From the primaries right up to election day wrong.
Following the election you would think since Pat and Dick were so correct they would be the go to pontificater. Well think again the same old hacks, liars, ideological buffoons appear daily to spread their propaganda.

Watching this a month before the 2018 midterms, and a day after Brett Kavanaugh's swearing-in, I have to applaud Pat Caddell's prescience and clarity of vision. Also, I find his version of history enlightening, different from Dinesh D'Souza's, but not irreconcilable with it.
-- One quibble regarding the need to clear out the Republican establishment: there have been some surprises in the past two years. Many establishment Republicans have risen to the occasion with renewed patriotism and a better sense for what it's all about. As Howie Carr asked recently, "Who would've thought that the Most Valuable Players in this [Kavanaugh's confirmation] would be Susan Collins, Lindsay Graham, and Mitch McConnell?"

Watching the young Republican guy deciding to vote for Gary Johnson because he basically didn't like Trump reminds me of how I talked my son and daughter-in-law into voting for Trump and not writing in Cruz . They live in North Carolina and 11 months later they are so glad they helped swing that state to Trump . Especially when it comes to religious freedom . I told them that the greatest part about voting for an egomaniac like Trump is that he will not like to look like a loser when the policies he promised and we voted for don't get enacted . I would love to see Cadell's opinion a year after the election .
