- This video will demonstrate how to thread the upper thread from the spool pin through the needle. I also have a Singer 99 and a Singer 66 at the end of the video. The 31-15 would have been used by tailors to make clothing, some were fitted with roller wheels to turn tight corners and do decorative boot top work.

Thanks for posting this
Just got one similar
máquina de costura maravilhosa Eu observei que você colocou uma arroela na alavanca de ponto da máquina pra colocar mais pressão no momento de apertar a alavanca foi uma boa ideia parabéns.
TFS I inherited my Grandmother’s 1938 Industrial 31-15 that has never been used.
Sitting covered all these years on the Family Home BC she Passed before she ever had a Chance to use it.
I CAN’T FIND A MANUAL THOUGH 😢
Best Regards.

Hi. I bought a 31-15 a few years ago and am just now trying to get it working. We put a new motor on and that seems to be working great. I’m having trouble with my bottom thread getting tangled or bunched up on the bottom. I’ve oiled it, checked the timing, needle, threading etc. Any suggestions?
Hello, I have a 31-15 Singer that I am refurbishing. I have the old-style needle guide but cannot figure out how to install it can you do a video on that.
Is this threading the same on a Singer 31-20?
Hi. You make great informative videos, thank you.
What is the difference between singer 31-15 and singer 31-20 ?
what is the adjustment for the bottom fabric puckering a bit?
roller foot
Any way you could post contact info? I have this same exact machine and I am trying to get the table top dimensions to build one
Buenos días. Cuál es el precio de la máquina singer 31-15???
I have the 31-15 It has worked without fail, for about 10 years, until today, it started sewing into it's own thread and splitting the thread. I'm not sure if it's the feed dogs, tension or length that came out of adjustment. I haven't had to adjust it before. So I'm trying to figure out what went wrong. Nice looking refurbished machines and clear instructions.
Did you get your situation sorted out? Would be curious to know what the amber was. Thx
@@melotone3305 Hi, yes, I thought I bought the correct needles, for this model. However, I forgot it only likes the "Organ Needles" 110/18.. I found my old stash, which I hid from myself in a altoids metal box. Now it sews perfectly again. User error "Singer heavy duty 110/18," it rejects. Not sure why. Maybe it needs a small adjuatment.
The organ needle base the tip is smaller. The end that goes into the machine is longer and the organ needle doesnt have a flat edge like the singer does. So it is a different needle.
If I could post a photo I could show you. But I think I shit off my camera to CZcams. Thanks for asking.
What is the maximum stitch Lenght if you can share, thank you

Hello, sorry I don't speack english totally, I have a sewing machine called "The la Cidelsa sewing machine"this is of my old father, now when I want information of this I dont see in online nothing, nobody people has one
?
I don't like your videos, I love them. You have a wonderful way of explaining things. If the opportunity presents itself, could you do a threading video on Kenmore Rotary (White built). I bought one a few years ago, with the book, but the illustrations are really poor quality. I just can't figure it out, especially the tension area. Many thanks. Stay well 🙏
If one comes along next video Adler triple feed walking foot.
