- Trying to replace a headliner on an older vehicle is not an easy task, specially if u've never taken one off before, but we got it done so follow me threw the gurney if you are thinking of doing one too for the first time

Great video, thanks 🙏 for not editing your mistakes, I seen a lot of ignition cylinder replacement videos and all them dude broke a screw and edited that part out. Only seen 1 guy say there’s 1 hidden screw the rest just said “grip it and rip it!”😂.
Yea I wanted to leave all the mistakes with the hidden screws and mounting points, I fix all the pieces I broke with glue and u can’t even tell

Another thing to note is that this would be much easier with 2 people. I see there was another man in the video later on but this goes to show we are all in our own world at times. He could also simply be giving the kids attention or unable to!

Headliner came out clean! And hot glue is good for plastic repair. Scuffing up the plastic with some sandpaper. Helps the hot glue to stick on better.

Thanks for showing me how to do this. Sorry you ended up with broken clips. I’ll try hard not to break any, but mine is a 1992 and it’s old and brittle, so we shall see.
No problem, but the question isn’t whether ur gonna break some or not, it’s how many are u going to break, it’s a no biggie though, u can fix them with a hot glue gun like I did

Man when you said "every panel I've touch I've broken something off of it" made me laugh so hard. These old trucks are so brittle it makes it tough to work on them and not break anything lol
Half ways I felt like giving up cuz I didn’t want to break anything else but once it was ready to go back together I glued all the clips that broke off with hot glue gun, u can’t even tell I broke half the clips
@@cali530marcos3 oh trust me man, I feel you! The first time I took the inside of kine apart, I broke dang near everything! The biggest pain in the butt for me still to this day is the a pillars!

A store called Joann’s fabric, it’s like an arts and crafts type of store
Where did you get your seat reupholstered?
Took it to a guy local to me, he took 3months though but only charged me $200

Not sure it’s OE, maybe 3x5 feet, but I got 2yards to do the headliner
Nothing we can't fix with a little bit of glue 😅
Might not be the correct way to fix it, but it’ll hold till the next guy goes in there and breaks it

@@cali530marcos3 Did the headliner yesterday broke a few clips lol headliner looked okay. A little bit of creases in the back that aren’t noticeable. Your video definitely helped though 👍🏾💯
