Book ordered. How do you have no wind noise?
Thanks for watching, and reading, too. 😎 Wind noise … I have a lavalier mic tucked up really close to my mouth, and that mic runs into a Zoom H1N recorder. (There are links to the stuff I use in the video description.) I find this setup works OK, but it’s best if I’m riding under 70 kilometres per hour. (About 40 miles per hour.) So, highway riding does work, but then the wind noise comes up.
@@JeremyKroeker ok, cool, ill play around some more. Been trying in the cheek pad which is ok up to 25 mph. It's mostly for trail speeds for what I want
This is the first time I've watched one of your videos and I must say I'm quite impressed with your production quality. I see your list of gear but I'd like to know what you use for a helmet mount. I need to get one but I'm not sure which style to get. Are you happy with yours? Keep up your good content.
@@dean_604 hi Dean. Apologies for the tardy response. For a helmet mount, I use one from Ride Tech Moto.

Yes, I’m very happy with it.
Really enjoyed it, I would understand if you don't do anymore but it would be our lost. We really enjoy your videos, you don't sugar coat anything. I think in a few years you will have a lot of people following you. Your books and video's are very interesting and entertaining. Please 🙏 keep them coming.
Thanks for the words of support. Onward!
Keep them coming, easy for us to say! These are good fun. You’re helping the snowbound of us make it thru the winter.
I think I’ve got a few more videos left in me. Thanks for the comment. 😎
Enjoyed that one too! Thanks Jeremy, appreciate your effort. Cheers from Vancouver 😀
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment. I’ll keep on making these things … for now. 😎😊
thanks by share ... I will put this route on my bucket list....
Very nice Jeremy 👍🏻👍🏻that is exactly what that ramp is for.
Took me a while to figure that out. Nice to have it confirmed. 😎
These are great, you’ve given me some good ideas for my summer rides.
Please keep them coming, they keep the rest of us going over the long winter.
It’s a long winter for me, too. Can’t wait to get back on those dusty roads. 😎
Well now that I've seen the other end of that road to the look out,I don't have to ride up there on my old '74 Harley. Thanks for the view.
Always my pleasure! Yeah, you CAN take almost any bike almost anywhere, but the KLR is perfect for that road. 😎
I read your first book and really enjoyed it. I will be picking up your second book soon. My vote is to just half ass the videos and keep them coming. But if they are stressing you out, not worth it.
Thanks for the support. I’ll keep making videos. Gotta stop stressing about them though. 😬
Love that place!
Yup. Me too. 😎
Love this one!
Thanks! More to come. 😎
I really need to get some off-road training under my belt. Watching this gave me lots of pucker-factor moments. So, thanks for letting me live vicariously. Still don’t think I’d take the Multistrada Pikes Peak up that road. 😆
Training would be helpful. I’ve never had any, but you can probably tell when you see me ride. 😂
@@JeremyKroeker Maybe I just need to trade for a KLR! 😁
Thanks for the video Jeremy! It was interesting to see the fire tower, so different from the ones that I worked on in Alberta 20 years ago now. I always enjoy your videos!
Thanks man. I think I’ll ride up to a few more lookouts this summer. Good times. 😃
Thanks for sharing, passed by the turnoff a number of times, this year when up that way I’ll make time to ride up.
Have fun! It’s a great view up there. 😎
Thanks again Jeremy. I had the experience of following Don up and down that road. Watching him handle his gold wing was quite the thing. Talk about rider and bike being one.
Yes, indeed. You followed along in the truck, yes? I suppose, like I say in the video, you COULD ride a Victory up there. But ... why? 😂
@@JeremyKroeker yes I was in my truck. And my victory being belt drive is the only reason I wouldn’t go up there. I had a shaft drive Honda that I would take just about anywhere even riding two up, example being top look out at Duncan Dam.
I need to make it up to Toad Rock. I've been up to Nakusp for CanWest and I rode across from Vancouver. So nearby. Such a beautiful area. I'd really like to see Glacier Park in the future. I couldn't make it then.
I love this part of the world. So much to see and do. And Toad Rock (last summer, at least) turned into my second home.
Another great video Jeremy. Thanks! Closer to home, I highly recommend the Skookumchuck Fire Tower. Only caveat- the last kilometre or so is definitely NOT Goldwing-friendly-if that’s the metric we’re using now. Happy riding in 2022! Cheers.
Thanks for the tip. It’s on my list now!
Toad rock is one of my summer rides every year. Two days from my home on the island then I hang around for 2 or 3 or 4 days and head home. Before the "covid days" I would head home via the USA. Mary makes everyone welcome. Was there twice last year did not see Don.
It’s a sanctuary, for sure. Don was there last year, but he left earlier than usual.
but a way... I;m follow you now...
I think I met Don at Toad Rock before. Does he pull a trailer with his wing? If it's the same guy, he has serious skills on that Goldwing. Love the video. I hope they keep coming. 👍🏼 ❤📷🏍💕
Yup. That’s Don. Sadly, that trailer he used to pull got stolen last year. But he’s still got the Wing.
@@JeremyKroeker Well that's shitty, having his trailer stolen. 😞 I have to make it out there this year. 🏕 🏍
Another place for me to check out. Thanks!
Yup, hangglider’s launch 👍🏻
I get your struggle with the whole video creation/ride/stress.
Cheers!
Yeah … but for whatever reason I keep making these things. 😎😜
Yup, I hear you. Yet, for whatever reason I keep making these things. 😎
@@JeremyKroeker Good! Cuz for whatever reason I keep watching em 😜👍🏻
