The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him.
      John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,
      1 John 3:8 KJV
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
      Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
      John 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.
      John 3:18 KJV
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

He uses his voice almost the same way what he emphasises when he pauses etc. I think Hunter almost became an alter ego for him. Johnny is actually a bit shy socially Thompson had Raoule Duke and Depp protects his sensitive nature with an extroverted personality. Hunter S Thompsons works are in some ways a survival guide for creative wild people who have to repress themselves in society.

Hunters expense for that trip includes a beaten up Cadillac, 100 grapefruits, 2 dozen coconuts, 22 pounds of ketchup and alot of fries. They sat in the parkinglot of a hardware store where they bought a hammer to crack open the coconuts, which they did all over the Cadillac.

??are you kidding ???? he does a great portrayal of his own creation of a character- Captain Jack. Jack is sort of his own person, as he takes being a pirate in a different way...he's far from the normal pirate. yet the acting for jack is done so eccentrically and phenomenal(which is what makes jacks persona) how could you possibly think that ?? the fuck

Every actor plays himself more or less. But really good actors can play different roles - thats what he did in the early years - the jack sparrow thing is really successfull and people like it - no doubt about that. But this character gets coppied over and over and over - in Alice in Wonderland, the lone ranger etc. Johny used to play different sort of characters - in Donny Brasco, Blow. FLILV, Whats eating Gilbert Grape. Now he plays Jack Sparrow every time.

juniorsve I would argue that it's not his acting that has turned bad, it's just that he's been in a bunch of shitty movies. Even though Lone Ranger was terrible I thought he still, somehow, gave a good performance. Same with all the Pirates movies. I can't think of him ever doing a bad job in a movie, even if it sucked.

I think cause he had to shave his head for the role he kept a hat on until it grew back.

Bill Murray was better as Hunter than Johnny Depp.

I thought they were both pretty good, Depps version of Hunter was a lot more based on the stories and legend of him while Murray was more grounded I feel like. Both of the movies are great in my opinion

I felt Johnny was the better "Roule Duke", while as Bill was the better "Hunter S. Thomson". In the end though, I think "Fear and Loathing" is a more fun movie to watch, while as "Where the Buffalo Roam" was the better movie.

Hunter actually said it was only Johnny who could play him and capture his madness properly
