I'm just hearing this message in 2021, but oh how we need this to play in every home, and for all to hear. I pray we learn not to critique messages for what we like and dislike, but for evidence did God speak. In this case I believe He did!

The reverence of God also apply to the sacredness of life. You can't have reverence for God and hate your brother who you see daily because our heavenly Father took one blood and made all nations. Heaven won't be white, black or brown, but, people who have been washed by the blood of the Lamb. Those who have been to the cross to encounter Jesus. My heart is in pain because of the state of local church in America. God ordained His church to influence society not for society to influence His church. I applaud this Pastor for standing boldly in the grace of Christ Jesus.

What he is saying is false there are no churches practicing segregation. The reason why some evangelicals don't praise Martin Luther King is because in his writings he denied the virgin birth deity and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

There are A LOT of people on this post who so blinded by saying the Gospel does not deal with social issues concerning ethnic discrimination? Read Peter's vision in the Acts Chapters 10 and 11:1-18; The ENTIRE book of Romans; Galatians 2:11-21!! The apostle Paul was dealing with the Jews and Gentiles being in community with each other, and there was no room for segregation!! I plead with you, I pray by the Holy Spirit, that He would open your eyes to this or you will remain jaded by your blindness to issue affect the Body of Christ unaddressed.

Acts chapter 6 deals with social justice as well, Jesus' own words in the parable of the Good Samaritan deals with racial discrimination directly. These people who say that God did not call people to be social justice warriors are perverting the Gospel for their own comfort.

    • @kylealford23

@@strongcloud28 Agreed! What you actually see is the church being called to reconcile Jew and Greek (Ephesians 2:11-22). Absolutely segregation and favoritism is unacceptable in the church. It would have been hard to imagine picking one of the predominant ethnicities of the NT church (regardless of their social status of oppression) and saying that they needed government intervention for the reconciliation to take place. The most blind a person could be to race an ethnicity should be in the church of God. Unfortunately, many in the church today are calling for segregation, partiality, and government intervention.

You think maybe the reason for so many ministers getting upset for Dr. King speaking in these places was because he didn't teach the gospel? Maybe he didn't teach about the Trinitarian God. Just wondering if any one would speak out against any man who doesn't believe in the God of the bible.

It seems when we who believe His virgin birth, perfect life and resurrection -hold our peace or fail to glorify Him and honor his directions in doing justice and loving mercy then Almighty God will raise up others who will. Truth is Truth whether I deny it or not. He is the Truth. Scripture records:
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly,
that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.
