a bit late but if you've still got it or someone else is searching for a fix - the data is not getting to the lcd panel, you can usually fix it by removing and refitting the lcd cable (mobo side and back of panel) or changing it , do a search on ebay for "your model" lcd cable - or - "your model" screen cable, quite easy to change, see the yt vids on changing an lcd cable - never over-tighten the screws on the sides of the lcd panel as this often irreparably damages the screen, peace, abz
Urm anyone help me plase because i have a sony vaio laptop and last time i used it i was happy playing on it. Suddenly i got a blank black-darkblue screen.. I tryed taking the battery out and tryed charging it and nothing worked... But the power says its still on.. Anyone help me out here please?
your pc can not be fixed cos the same thing happend to me and i took it to a repair shop and they said "your pc i tottly broken but you can still use it just when you want to turn it off you will have to remove the power cable and take out the battery" so i just do that and it still works fine.

Hi what model / make laptop ? could be your lcd inverter or faulty screen
my hp does this but only after running for like 10 minutes when its off its fine tho..

click ctrl+alt+delete then click last one u well see page click file new wririte..explorer.exe
