You should ask your guests what they do for a living and how they got themselves to the place where they can afford such a massive project. Just being based in the US is not enough. It gives the wrong impression yekuti money grows on trees in the diaspora and anyone can get there and come back a big man or woman. Which makes our people go for desperate measures to relocate, only to find they were better off in Africa . Noticed the same in the previous video.

Lynn Trades Dr. Gibbs is my brother and he is a high-ranked Professor at a prestigious University here in the US and my beautiful sister-in-law is also a high ranked Healthcare Professional. They also own several oceanfront holiday properties in other countries. So that you know, they are doing alright for themselves.

Wow. The garden has really grown in. They have had the neatest building site I've ever seen from the beginning. Well done Gibbs & E. My only concern for us as Africans is as we grow older, maintaining a home this large becomes a problem when your active work life is over and you're on a limited pension. Something to think about.

Our projected timeline from start to finish is about two and half years, but that's probably a bit optimistic considering the challenges in Zim.

Returnees used to build those giant mansions in my country Jamaica. This spread that misconception that returnees are rich.
Thank God they are building small homes now. Cause they can't afford to maintain those mansions and the electricity to cool them is very very expensive.

Kumusha hakuna security of tenure. For me there is no need to over invest in a rural home. Services like education, health etc are poorer than mu town. Imagine you build homes for your relatives in the village and the next thing they migrate to the city to look for greener pastures😂 what will you do?

That is nonsense! Instead of building a monstrous Mansion in Harare, to impress extended family members, you could build 10-20 family sized houses in your own home village Kumusha, of your grandparents. With a borehole and solar panels if necessary.
