Congratulations son for your marriage .God must bless the union
I love the phrase she used “I don’t want to go to a land where we’re told what to do”… that just hit differently and is so deep 😢
There is no land with no rules just that in zim rules only apply to some but not others which promotes lawlessness, looting and corruption. Dont mean to bust a bubble but lets be honest no ways one will start a blumming business buy propeties in porch area start from a travel consultant hatisi ma fusa handiti we all have been working we know what up. Its basically telling us i started a paint company from 1 crayon. Lets face it .
Not many zimbos understand this that is why we have lawlessness you right thanks for articulating this observation.
Listen the fact we dont want authority over us in Africa is the reason we dont succeed in industry because we assume we know it all. Even Barack Obama does get told what to do by someone higher than him. Period🙄
I guess my understanding is different from what most people are thinking. I see her statement as “Africa is home and there’s no place like home”
No doubt africa is home we love being zimbabwe but we cant take aways the discomfort of unlawlessness, poverty, corruption, human rights violations and unfairness of the system. The reason why we are debating here is not because we dont like home , no we love home. We love it enough to want it to be home for everyone including me and you. We know that the reason only reason why people build such castles with no function health system, potholes, dilapidating school, no access to basic human right eg drinking water is because a few people benefit from this system they call underground “loving home “ the question was never of loving home. It is how much do you love your home? How much to want change or to continue being vip to the system. Lets face facts
Aunty Zoe she once employed me 6 yrs ago before I opened my photography studio trust me she's very humble
Wow, it seems her entrepreneurship skills rubbed of on you.
Vey humble, went to the same church with her. She used to buy like $200 fast food meals for us at choir and check on us constantly. Saw her last week when I was flying out of Zimbabwe
You do great Wode Maya - However on this one I have to say the perspective given by Zodwa in this interview is from a "privileged" Zimbabwean who has had the good fortune of "eating" with both the previous and current regimes. The interview came across as "tone deaf" explaining why she won't change anything about Zimbabwe. The reality for the majority of Zimbabweans is that our tax money has been used to fund a few "regimepreneurs"... leaving us with no access to basics such as health care.
Zimbabwe is a complicated place...
If flamboyance was a person🤔,she def wld qualify,I'm kenyan and was privileged to live in Bulawayo for close to 8years and i can tell you that zimbos love life, happy people that love to spend,Zim is a beautiful country that loves order,no slums ooh,the list is endless, I miss the people and places...
If “Rich aunty” were a person! Aunty Zozo is a force in these Zim streets✨👌🏾👑 💰 As a Zimbabwean woman, I am proud of this remarkable lady. Continue to increase sister🙏🏾

She represents 15 million people who are living in Zimbabwe right now...we don't run away...we always find a way to live and survive within our country and we are proud to be called Zimbabweans. I wish all our people were the same
Natasha Nyundo what do you mean " you wish all our people were the same?"
i wonder if you are a real person ?with such a moronic statement.
@@MsFGray do not be an idiot. The truth is many people in Zimbabwe ran away. Even those who have money. if you did..is never too late to return to your country.
@@MsFGray some of our people are all over the world... commiting crimes in other people's land ..they are causing problems mostly in South Africa and they have created a bad name for us... everywhere it's now Zimbabweans ... Of the 15 million in Zimbabwe currently, how many are living on remitances? Each to their own is what I'm saying. I don't wish anyone to be like me. I wish them to be truly themselves!

I've always thought Africa was beautiful but never really known much except the Victoria Falls in SA but I'm seeing Africa from Woda Maya's lense. If God wills I want to go see many of the African countries.
