When I first gained consciousness I was around 2 1/2 standing in the middle of my living room trying to figure out where I was and who I was. Just moments before that (the first 2 and 1/2 years) I only had glimpses of my childhood, but none of them made sense in any way even to this day. The sudden snap to reality is suck a surreal feeling that is experienced once in your life and is never clear when you start to think back to it, but impossible to forget.
