I always loose money on my bags, but if they don't work they don't work
same...and just accepting that, is so much better than being sad that you didn't as much back as you've hoped!
i rehome at least 2 bags a year, most of them at a small loss. but it’s better to let them go to an owner who will use them
than sit with me unused. i just treat the loss as rent 🫶🏼
I’ve always loved the Croisette in azur but held back because of the vachetta also! I’d worry so much about staining it I know I’d never use it. 😣

Thank you so much for sharing your pain. I’m in a similar position. Some bags I don’t use enough and some bags I just can’t bear to use. Slowly working through my collection and culling them because I really want to avoid sellers remorse. When I part with them slowly, I’m usually more than ready and feel really relieved. For example, my Chanel and YSL wocs I only sold after 2 to 3 years contemplating it.😅
Slow and steady haha! I think for me this time around, it really does boil down to the fact that any more bag that I bring home is gonna have to live on the floor of my closet haha so it was either be happy with what I have, or make room for what I still want lol!

I can see that too! I went through a period where I cleared out my closest because I thought I had too many sweatshirts/pants...but...that's what I wear the most lol...and I ended up having to replenish them 😅
That’s why unlike CZcamsrs like to say, I think it’s better to store the clothes you’re not 100% sure you want to let go…and throw, sell or give the ones you’re definitely done with!!
Especially when the clothes you’re not sure about are made of fine fabrics, and are good quality. Nowadays, we’re suffocating with cheap clothes, cheap fabrics…it might be more expensive to replenish your wardrobe with well-made essentials
Love nkuwan the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other CZcamsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.

I gifted my Mom 3 bags, and sold her 1! They were all in excellent condition. I gifted her 1) mini loewe puzzle in tan 2) louis vuitton alma nano in black with silver hardware and 3) a chanel mini wallet on chain in black caviar silver hardware. I sold her my louis vuitton trunk clutch for 50% off. Good karma rewarded me with a Constance 18 black + gold hardware straight from the boutique.

It'd better to lose money than let the item sit unused for decades till you die. Then, whoever inherits your stuff sells it at a profit bc they didn't spend the $ in the first place.

Sounds like you aren’t a fan of treating light colored bags? I apple Garde or carbonpro alllll of my untreated leather and light bags (canvas included) and I’m a lot less worried about ruining them. I’m glad you have been feeling more confident with your preloved bags though!! 😊

I love luxury bags but here lately bags are going in outlet so fast! - I’m so iffy on paying retail prices anywhere that isn’t Hermes or LV (I don’t buy Chanel)
