Correction: Cardi B’s dress is by Windowsen!
react to alia bhatt look to it was gorgeous
I think one of the girl who should be on “ MET HISTORY” is not even in the video(i meant alia, not a fan but it was my #1 fav met gala).
No business as usual when GENOCIDE IS TAKING PLACE. I love you Cassie and I am a loyal follower, but the level of disinterest and of looking the other way is frankly despicable. At least a disclaimer at the start of the video, acknowledging the irony of giving airspace to this topic and the outrage it has been causing, would act as a sign of emotional intelligence and of respect, to your fellow people and to humanity. The silence speaks loud and clear. With love, A
Jeans are literal "gardians of time" when it comes to fabric history and its usage! Durable widly spread, accessible for everyone!
So glad you could remember because Cardi certainly couldn't when Emma Chamberlain Interviewed her 😂 the weight of the tulle must have caused her to lose oxygen 😂 And in other news, seriously HOW GOOD was the sand dress and her bag too OMG x
Mona Patel deserved to be put in “Met History”. We’ve never seen anything like that before and it’s straight up the best outfit of the night
100%
I don’t know who Mona is, but yes she looked stunning. Cassie, why did you decide you loved this but didn’t think it was historical/memorable?
She didn't think Alia Bhat even deserved a seat at the table!!!
Unpopular opinion: Mona Patel, Nicki Minaj, Alia Bhatt should be Met History in next part.
Also Stan Nina bonina Brown
I second Mona Patel!
Mona Patel and Alia Bhatt yes. Nicki Minaj was couture and on theme but it was a mess. Her team constantly drops the Met ball and it’s very disappointing
@@chaneiofcourse7634 I really liked the delicate flowers and the colored layered oil painted dress though.
agree with mona! the look ate, no crumbs, and the butterflies 😍 imho designers really *should* incorporate more tech, so many advances in robotics and material engineering these days
Cassie said: I will be one of the first ones to post my Met Gala Review! 🙌🏻 You were QUICK!
Hehehe she tries!!! 😂

The moving butterflies had me shook! That needed to be Met History!!
Personally I liked Zendaya’s first look better, but both were spectacular, obviously !
Me too!! The black constrasted by the flowers that looked like a packaged bouquet was a LOOK!
Agree. I just commented the same thing.
Exactly!!!!!
Exactly, Zendaya’s first look was so on theme and like she was the leader and originator of all the pretty flowers, which was just perfect for her as the host!
Yes the moving butterflies as Met History! ❤ 😊
Tyla killed her first Met. So proud of her. Glad I was awake for this video. Thanks Cassie!
She looked AMAZING!!
The “sands of time” dress was everything!!!
That dress was so damn beautiful on her. She was my favorite! The look was so sensual and sexy but not over the top and vulgar. Just loved it ❤
As a South African we so proud
Mona Patel was my absolute favorite. Unforgettable, on theme, drama, color & interpretation.
Thank you for doing this! Lots of good info.If you can, please list good websites or places to find *esluxs* , you know, Hermes is so selective. Also, would love to see something about Lady Dior. I have to say, my heart broke a little when you said “Oh, Prada does these as well”, regarding the serial number. (I’m a nurse, so I probably shouldn’t even dream about owning a Birkin, but I bought my first Prada earlier this year and I was so proud of it. Now it feels a bit like Dollar General ).
Nicki & Marni Understood The Assignment 🔥🔥
I agree. We need a part 2
I would go to the *esluxs* to buy a purse. I wouldn't buy it over the store. I would be too afraid of getting cheated. Great video . Thank you for the knowledge. Congratulations on your expanding family
Alia Bhatt in her Sarhee was my favorite. Traditional but spectacular. She is one of my favorite actresses and I hope she is in more American movies but don't miss her in the ones made in India.
Thank you for showing us ! I love both actually ! I own original and *esluxs* and all my reps smells sooooo good! They smells the same as all my originals. I pay a lot for the reps so they are high quality. I have only tried 2 sellers and I will stick with them so I know what I get. I live in Norway and we do have a gorgeous Louis Vuitton shop in Oslo - love going there!
I thought Alia Bhatt looked phenomenal
Indians never do
Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxs* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.
I never comment on CZcams videos but not putting Mona in Iris Van Herpen in Met History is CRIMINAL
Try traveling to Tokyo Japan they sell Original lux brands for less like LV , Channel , Gucci ,Coach ,YSL etc for less its still more pricey than the fakes and still in good condition i just dont know how the costoms works in the USA if they will still tax you 2nd hand lux items but sure either buy the brand new *esluxs* you want or travel half the world away to buy 2nd hand lux items for few days that also includes your plane ticket hotel accomodations for how many days food and goodie stuffs for families and friends and other expencess but they said " original LV Bag from Japan for less " or just travel to Bangkok thailand and visit the Platinum Mall buy as many replica bags all you want w/o the hassel
Omg Met was literally 5 minutes ago and you already recorded, edited and published a 35min video overnight! ❤❤❤❤❤
I tried my best 🙈
Alia Bhatt in that saree.....She was my favorite.
Omg yes ! Her Saree was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen !! ❤❤
There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *esluxs* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
Cassie, you put up a video at 3:50AM Eastern Time??? Go to sleep, girl! You've earned it, lol. Thanks for your hard work 🫶
Crawling into bed as I type this 🙈💖
@@CassieThorpe Sweet dreams, girl ✨

Wowza … how quick, she is NOT sleeping on the job, period ❤ !!
🙈😂😂😂
Daamn, she came early! Respect! That's what I call quality reporting :D
Ahhh I hope you like it! 💖
That dress with the wooden bodice is incredible!! It looks like her skin. I love Grecian style gowns. I would put it in MET History.
Oh and the butterfly dress 😍😍😍
hi cassie! i’m from brazil so sorry for my bad English. I was SO surprised by Tyla outfit, because in the first metgala Anna Wintour doesn’t let people ✨shine✨ mostly, people from other countries, but Tyla DID IT!
alia bhatt. literallly the best dressed
First look into Gigi's gown I thought flowers garden, very classy, beautiful silhouette, suit/dress like count/countess, cute. I had a second look now and it looks like she's a flower coming out of a disintegrating suit. Like what was left of the Count's suite became a beautiful garden again. A take on time and the inevitable cycle of creation, destruction and creation. Is this what they were aiming for? Genius.
With the quickness!! I was definitely looking forward to your choices Cassie!
Best part of the MET, watching cassie's review
Tyla was THE look of the night. 20/10
Your critique was spot on. Great job! I hope I get to see you on that red carpet, I know you would turn it out with a fabulous look!
Hopefully one day 🥹🙌🏽
“A monstrosity of Frankenstinian levels”. Top tier description. 😂😂😂😂😂
Cassie, you nailed this. You put so much work into this research. Hasn’t gone unnoticed. Love your opinions on the outfits, and also how you highlight and also deconstruct some of the looks to enable us to see different points of view. Girl done good. Hazel x
Amazing roundup of the Met looks! Love your insights as always 🤍
Thanks for pulling an all nighter for this! Really great round up 👏
Wow mad props to you for doing it so quickly after the gala. And i like your honesty!
Great review as always, Cassie!
Hi Cassie, thanks for breaking it down in a way that only you can.
Well done! 🤗
Wow. The dedication!!! 👏👏👏Thanks for the early morning review/analysis. Fabulous ❤❤❤.
You’re so welcome 🥹🙌🏽
You came through with the full video! Glad I could get a quality recap so fast
Cannot explain how much I LOVE these videos!! And literally agreed with every ranking too ❤
Really hope you get 200-250K subbies already !!!
You're so on it with your videos... sacrificing sleep... You deserve so many more fans
❤❤❤ was this a bonus video???? Great content as usual 😊
Love your review. So spot on !! I liked Mindy Kaling's outfit as well. Thanks so much for your insight and brilliance!
Cassie thank you for such a fun video! Love you girl! Please make a luxury wardrobe series for different categories like jackets, skirts, eyewear etc. I’m sure so many people would love to see you amazing collection of clothes and accessories.
I loved this video so much, because you’re actually a fashion girly! I couldn’t help but giggle when you’re roasting a look but it sounds polite because of your accent 🤣❤️ Thanks for the content.
Been waiting for this
Fantastic production and turn around on your MET review! You look fresh as a daisy even though you worked into the wee hours of the morning...Thank you 🎉 Some of these "dresses" were just sad, the Chloe and sadly the Armani bead curtain, and the t-shirt (wet or not) dress. I agree about the sand dress/hour glass purse being MET history. I have rewatch later, after i have more ☕️
Loved this video!
YAS! The video I have been waiting all year for! 🤣 have been avoiding socials all day to get home and watch after work with a cuppa ❤
This was a fun theme that I feel was a lot easier to interpret than some in previous years and really looked forward to the DRAMA that might come down the carpet. I absolutely loved Taylor Russell and Tyla and the moving butterflies!!! Holy crap, that was a moment and I think that should have been in MET History! All that said, I wish there had been way more DRAMA, I needed more!!
As always, thank you for your absolute dedication to these videos and I hope you were able to catch up on your sleep LOL 💖
Yesss! Was waiting for your review!❤
Enjoy! 💖💖

Cassie, this was awesome!
Hard working QUEEN!!!!
😭💖
Wooow Cassie, thanks for the hardwork,I know you stayed up late for this video. Just to let you know we appreciate it ❤
Case you did an amazing job, I think we need a part two were you focus more on the outfit instead of how famous the people are, there were amazing outfits for people that a look of us where not familiar with but they look amazing. And the MEN…. Love you and excited about the video. Thanks for putting it out very quickly
Im so excited for this review!!! 👏 Come in Cassie!!!!!
Oohhh I’m early. Been waiting on this since the previous one! You’re the best Cass ❤️
You’re a gem! Thank you 💖
Spot on observations, Cassie. I wish someone would do a retrospective of your fabulous looks. You slay!
Very well done! Thank you ❤
Oh my gosh I had COMPLETELY missed the moving butterflies. I was so so hoping for some amazing mechanical movement in the outfits (like a flower blooming) so THANK YOU for providing this moment of beauty
Loved the review Cassie! Three looks you didn’t touch on one that I thought were interesting, Mindy Kaling’s look! Loved! It was like she was blooming. I loved the color of Kerry Washington’s look. Lastly, Madelyn Cline’s look was understated, especially for the Met, but I liked it!
‘They’re taking the piss’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 absolutely dead
Cassie I would also love to see you reviewing the after party looks. Would be great fun💜
I just found your channel and I’m 3 mins in I love your energy
I love these
Wonderful recap video! I love your analysis and I also found myself giggling at some of your descriptions (Dior = funeral adjacent) :)!!
I’ve been waiting for this. The only Met Gala Show that counts as far as I’m concerned. This is going to be a great lunch break!
Great recap
Loved it all - great picks and ranking system/ commentary: agreed with most.
Omg you are such👏🏼a👏🏼fashion👏🏼goddess♥️ thank you so much for this 🙏🏼🥰
Doja interviewed on the carpet and said the inspo was Cotton being the most used "flower" of all time... and a t-shirt being forever timeless
also the tears on her face may be dedicated to the cotton harvesting industry being quite unethical with lots of ppl dying from inhaling huge amount of pesticides
Then use cotton nicely
@@JimeHime 🤔🤔🤔
Excellent review
Thank you so much!
Nii was right😂! You locked yourself away in the room and gave us what no one else gave us. A well documented review. Bravo 🙌🏾 ❤
I only came here because I knew I would get a great synopsis, cause honestly I wasn’t going to watch the Met Gala red carpet walk / presentation . I needed a good break down and I appreciate you Cassie. You GAVE alllll the GIVES in the breakdown ….totally luv the ranking system
Doja Cat did say her flower is the most used flower which is cotton.
And it's more of a poetic look, and she also wanted to look different
This was fabulous
So happy you enjoyed it!!
Forget the outfits, love your commentary above everything else❤
I was on point with you this year ❤
@CassieThorpe do you know the brand of Tyla’s bag❓
You should add a "I don't know how to feel" category 🤣
How do/will these looks translate into upcoming fashion for everyday people?
One of my favorite videos love ❤️
So glad!💖💖
No MET Gala without Cassie ❤
I loved Quannah Chasinghorse's dress. It simple and elegant, and doesn't overpower her. The dress could have been tea length and slimmer but it's a gorgeous dress. The hair and jewelry worked. Love.
Thanks for posting this recap. You are the first!
Very much agreed. A surprise favorite!! 🤩🥂💜
Personally, as a vintage lover I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting much more rare vintage pieces, like the one Kendall Jenner was wearing. I would also have put most of the dresses into the « nice but forgettable » category too.
Thanks for this video ❤
Hi Cassie! Doja's was on theme because she said she chose the flower of cotton, one of the oldest/most used flowers 💐. Love your content/review ❤❤❤
we need a part 2 Cassie ASAP
Hello Cassie
Still laying in bed but will getting up to get ready after the vid😂
Excited for the video and wishing you good night😊😴
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!
the sand dress was cool❤ thats one of the few looks i saw before i went to bed😂❤ great job getting this out so quick❤
Thank you!! 😊💖💖
Another amazing video!!! I can’t wait to see Cassie directing the met gala one day 😊
Commenting because you posted this at 4am. Get to work algorithm 😂❤❤❤
the only met gala review i trust ❤
Your witty use of words never cease to fail us. 😀
The moving butterflies dress has a steampunk vibe to me. Absolutely stunning and my favourite dress of the night! Although I have a hard time deciding between the sand dress or this one as both are just out of this world 😍
Cassie - slay!!! And you stayed up all night for this. A true queen.
For men’s I loved Dan Levy’s Loewe but v v confused why Ed Sheeran looked like the morning after lol his bow tie was undone (idk if it was deliberate, don’t come for me) but I’m sure Haute Le Mode will have words on that as well.
late night video from the one and only!!👀👀 why yes plz 😁💙 sending love from your friend in ky 🥰
Ahh thank you so much 🤩💖
Mona Patel was by far the best dressed. Stunning!
Hello queen 👸 Cassie and her unfiltered fabulous fashion reviews ✨️ ❤️ 💖 😊!!😊
Aahhh I hope you like this one!! 💖💖
@@CassieThorpe I'm sure I will!
Hey Cassie… I am Indian from US, following you for the past 3 years and absolutely love all your content. I was hoping that you would also include the bollywood celeb looks at the MET. Might be worth considering starting next year.
Xoxo
Between you and Luke Meaghers roast of the Met Gala who needs to watch any more, brilliant job and congratulations on being a newlywed ❤
"None of them were good". I spat out my tea!
For the men I absolutely loved Dan Levy’s Loewe suit that was hand beaded! Omg it was spot on! Thanks for this fun and well done review! So much fun 🎉
I really enjoy how you categorize them rather than just say mehhh or fabulous!
I loved Donatella’s dress,Demi Moore,Elle Fanning,Colman Domingo (male best dressed for me),Mindi Kaling and the met history looks you chose
Great job Cassie! I loved Tyla and Kendall in vintage McQueen- both stunning!
You should add a category…”Just Forgettable.”
