your builds are so freaking well done!
Is this the real tavarish?
Click on the profile pic if you want to find out but spoiler alert ......yes it is.
always... the details in every build
Love to see the two of you work on something at some point!
Thanks Freddy!
No one else puts as much detail into her car builds as Sarah does.
Mr. Dos has got to be the cleanest MR2 in the world.
Mr. Dos needs to take us on a trip
@@cmdux, there is at least one driving video & I think it's a review.
Some say rhythm is a dancer, it's soul's companion. You can literally feel it everywhere.
Six hours to edit a video? Wow that shows how special you think we are - probably as special as we think you are. With love and apreciation from the UK.
Broadcast 'Rule of Thumb' - It takes 1 hour to edit 1 minute of output video. Sarah's got 10 minutes worth in a six hour edit session,. So, yeah, effcient!
8:35, dropped wrench with left hand effortlessly caught it with right hand. Damn that was impressive!
Cat like reflexes!
its a mechanic thing.
It’s a very slick move until you miss the grab and hit it with your knuckles 😖
Can we stop for a second and applaud the amazing save with your off hand at 8:35? 👍👍👍
You have THE BEST gear head channel on You Tube. Period. Your car reviews are first rate and I learn something every time I watch you wrench on a car. Bravo!
Rhythm is a dancer!!!
fyi, as a '91 highschool graduate, superb job on your playlist!! been listening on loop for the last couple days! perfect time capsule for those bygone days!! miss the music from the '90's...
Ooh, almost forgot to check it out. Looks like a lot of stuff I may vaguely remember rather than having been listening to actively at the time, but should be fun. :)
Listened to 3 so far, the 90's had some really weird songs as far as the playlist but I'm not done yet lol
I don't stop to comment enough that your rebuilds are 2nd to none. You work way too hard. take some time off.
I wish I could take time off!
@@SarahnTuned Just force yourself to, don’t burn out. Set it up with a buddy and schedule a vacation, do a cruise or sit on a beach in a foreign country or something.
@NZsarge1
No can do CZcams won't allow it.
I agree that I too dont say something in the comments often enough and you also NEED to take a little time off.
Come down under and do some rips around The Bend motor park😊
Attention to detail - check.
Explanation and exposition - check
Random thoughts being verbalised - double check
Thanks Sarah, love the work you put into this.
Letterkenney reference is much appreciated by this Canadian!! 😂
Is that what you appreciates about her..?
@@colinberry2991 absolutely!! And I will not dial it down 20% either...
I was about to comment the same exact thing!!!!
Just love your sense of humor and corny jokes. I enjoy watching your builds 😊
"Rhythm Is A Dancer" (0:44) The OG song 👍‼
Thank you Sarah! Such an important statement “modifying a car beyond a certain threshold can ruin the car” and I would add your expected experience with said car.
Sarah, your philosophy about your car is also how I feel.
I like my cars because I enjoy driving them and how they look. I don't buy stuff to impress people, because that is pointless. My cars aren't fast, or awesome, but I like them, and they're fun. I enjoy them, and don't care whom else does, or doesn't.
I love the missile analogy because that’s EXACTLY how we initially teach missile guidance. Also, the Mister Dos playlist is BANGIN
Thanks! I listened to it all week long lol
@@SarahnTuned I've shown most of my flightmates your playlists and so far you're batting 1.000 with them. Not a bad one yet!
Yeah, I sometimes miss those happy nineties, probably because my double digit age didn't start with a 5 back then 🤔🤣
I love it when you do the rabbit holes. Oil, to Earl, to Ernest.
You know what I mean Vern?
The Dos with the most -- love that special boy.
Crossing fingers the 2UZ is in the condition it was supposed to be.
SNAP! - Rhythm Is A Dancer
Hey Sarah, thank goodness Jason Lee is still alive and kicking🙂🐧🐧🐧👍 and nice catch by the way8:35
Someone finally gets it! That threshold of where a car becomes unreliable!!!!!!!!!
Also unpleasant to drive.
It happens in the Jeep Wrangler community 99% of the time.
@@jasonh4167😅 yes! 😁. 🤔. Actually keeps just may be designed constructed & to fail when exposed to the atmosphere and gravity 😮😅😅
Totally with you on retaining low-end torque vs. high-end. 👍👍👍
Your statement about modifying a car past a certain point is spot on. Been there, done that, have the trophy.
Going too far often creates reliability issues and a cascade of downstream issues.
Big power? Broken driveline parts, etc.
Keep up the great work.
Thank you, Sarah. You take us down so many rabbit holes, I will christen thee, Alice.
As a car salesman in the uk 10 15 years ago. I 360’d a customers trade in almost hit a car and the curb. Diesel on the road
This build is perfect. We love you Sarah ❤
Hoping and Praying that crate contains a problem-free engine.
Trust your gut and I love that you allowed yourself to pivot.
Sarah keep being yourself. It works. You beat up on things till your satisfied with it. We from the garage era remember that some things aren’t fast. It takes time and dedication. Yeah buddy!
A more powerful car isn't necessarily a good car, as you quite rightly say, you can ruin a great production model. So what you've done is made the production car more efficient without too much changing. Great update.... Cant wait to see you work on the other project though. ❤❤
Glad you shot and aired this technical debate in your mind and explained it. Most of us armchair mechanics think have of the acronyms automakers use are just made up marketing BS. This T-VIS discussion explained the actual physics of what is going on in the intake system and how it affects torque and horsepower. Would have never derived that on my own. There ARE people working at these makers that know what they're doing. And at least a few working on their own who also know what they're doing. (YOU).
I have the 1989 GTS celica with the 3SGE NA engine - and yes could not imagine deleting the T-VIS system. The intake valves are the same size as the 3SGTE cousin. They are BIG. A delete would cause big problems with stagnation of flow. Street car - so prefer much grunty low end torque just like Sarah says..straightline dragsters and racers I could understand with hight revving high horsepower gargantuaness..
I had to rewind because i thought the white board said “Farts Needed”. Love the MR2. I wish i still had my 87’ Fiero GT.
Love the concept of listening to music from the same era as the car. Never delete the humour lass, it makes the videos even more enjoyable.
Don't apologize for being honest about the weirdness that happens in your brain. We're here for it, you nerding out about cars and anything is so much fun, we love being along for the ride.
With the history of that engine builder there is no way I will not put a camera thru the sparkplugs holes and open the pan.
You made the right choice on the tvis and for the right reason too. 👍 Losing all that torque at the low end defeats the purpose of using a small light turbo with a fast spin up in the first place.
Her research and her knowledge is so deep and her skills are equally off the charts! Seriously inspiring, thank you Sarah!
Dang girl. You work so hard! Thank you! ❤
But please rest at sometime. 😮
Playing music from the era of the car you are working on is the most Sarah thing. Love it!
Much awaited, much appreciated looking forward to excellent work as always from you
I had a 91 MR2 which I loved, but I heard they’re coming out with a new MR2 in 2025!
The benefits of keeping the system which provides a short and long intake induction path is, in my opinion, worth dealing with keeping the butterflies working. Go Sara.
Most of the runoff from the front clip would be coming from the center of the car, so it seems correct that they are offset in that way. Kudos for respecting the engineering and explaining it!
I loved both the song reference (Rythm is a Dancer) and the Letterkenny reference, and I haven't even finished the video yet LOL
This car is museum quality. My 91 will be finished soon, thanks for the motivation.
Sarah, I'm a relatively new sub & I have to tell you that this show is easily the best enthusiast level car show on any platform. The fact that i'm actively dialoging with my screen while I watch is testament to how relatable the content is. Loving it, keep it up & thnax.
"Always trust your gut instinct, don"'t always trust you deodorant Now there is a Sarah shirt if i ever seen one! Keep doing things the way you feel is best for you and your needs Sarah, we appropriate you more for it.
Always fascinating for those of us who enjoy attention to detail and spotless components. Thanks Sarah 👍
Great video. I'm glad you showed your change of mind. Very real. Thanks.
A shoe gal should know that original spats are spatterdashes, shoe covers worn over the instep and ankle to intercept the horse poop that everyone used to walk through all day. In the fixed gear era of aircraft, the streamlined fairings covering the landing gear were known as wheel spats.
Awesome show. Love the way you break everything down. Always entertaining and a pleasure to watch.
Absolute perfection to detail! Just another great work and video.
Let's see a mini road trip video with MR DOS
the "spat" is to manage tire wake and it's off-set so it's functional throughout the range of steering motion. in all honesty under normal driving conditions you won't notice if it's present or not, but I appreciate the attention to detail. my areo-nerd-ADHD is satisfied.
I finally finished watching the Playlist!
The MR2 is a favorite of mine. The attention to detail you give every build is fantastic
That 'my little pony' shirt was fire!!! Best looking and cleanest MR-2 I have seen, by far!
Love your dedication and commitment to perfection on your project vehicles.. I learn so much about these projects that when I go to car shows I can tell when people shortcut or use parts that are not OEM quality.. You are an asset to us who want to keep these vehicles as close to correct as possible..
Such an amazing car and so well preserved. It's great seeing these classic models preserved. Looking forward to a video when this round of updates is done and you go for a drive!
I went back to the day where you first purchased MR DOS, the quality of your video content has improved a lot. I think your attention to detail has improved also.
Sarah love your work and your channel! Thank you for all the effort you put in.
Great Playlist - Forgot about P.M. Dawn's sample of Spandau Ballet's "True" on "Set Adrift on Memory's Bliss". Great tune for chillin on the beach after a surfing session.
This would be the cleanest mr2 on yt I’ve ever seen. Just immaculate condition
That song....ah yes! It just snapped in my head.
Hang in there Sarah, your work is unmatched!
The music/car connection part is excellent. Your channel (you) is/are the only one I know of that puts this together, it's awesome. I really like that aspect of it.
i enjoy watching the MR2 series
Solid Letterkenny plug. Thats what I appreciates about ya, Sarah!
Love the build Sarah. You should take your vehicles when done to car shows to show off that work and chill and have some fun, you deserve it.
Love the Mister Two. It looks like a baby Ferrari. Lean and trim. Classic.
I just love how you’re attention to detail is superb. Mr DOS is lucky have such a great owner. Keep up the great work and videos. 👍
Another great video Sarah, you are just awesome 👏☺️
Thank you for making such informative videos.
What an absolutely incredible soul, you are, Sarah!
I like those cat like reflexes Miss Sarah that allowed you to catch the wrench you dropped. I'm always in a better space after watching your videos and for that, I sincerely thank you. Tell Charlie and Angel Foodcake I said aloha please. Mahalo!
Woww i'm totally impressed! congratulations!!! Beautiful job!
rhythm is a dancer
your attention to detail, and work ethic is phenomenal!! Top notch builds, and reviews! looking forward to the celica!! Keep up the great content! thank your for your continual hard work!!
Your knowledge is always spot on and your sense of humor is a little twisted (don't change).
Thanks for all the work you put into making these videos.
Always impressed of your skills. Can't wait to see what you do next.
Thank you for doing what you do. With a full time job and weird hours it gets hard to find time to turn wrenches on all the projects Ive collected over the years. I spent almost 20 years as an A&P, so I get your attention to detail or OCD, whichever you prefer.
Thanks Sarah
thank you for what you do! i appreciate your efforts and always look forward to your videos😘
I been watching these videos since when you were mechanicing out of your house 😅
Brings back memories of GT2 on Playstation, this was a starter car
Tooooooooooo
Beeeeeeeeeee
Faaaaaaaaaaair
(Had to edit…) I love these videos!
I just got a Rev 5 JDM and I’m getting a lot from your playlist. You’ve really got that Dos looking damn near new! Love how you’ve got the engine bay!
Keep up the awesome work!
Sarah your attention to detail is what makes all of your effort in the progress of a given project worthwhile.
Just love all of your vehicles, and all the hard work and cleaning u put into them. The Toyota’s are my Favorite. Who doesn’t like a MR2 with pop up lights. And the Celica 💪
I know next to nothing about cars but your content is compelling. Followed the deliberations on T-VIS and actually cracked a huge smile when you said you were keeping it because it was clear from the very start that your heart was telling you not to delete
love these type of videos please keep doing it thank you its awesome
This car screams FUN...you've done an awesome job!
Missed Mr.Dos!
Love it, especially the possibility to enjoy your car on an internet forum. Saves a lot of money. At the moment I virtually own a Setra Bus with the slide-outs of a Prevost, cockpit from the S-Class and a Lucid quad motor set-up providing 6 x 6 propulsion. The 800 kWh batterie weighs 4 tons but I hope to set it off with honeycomb carbon like on a serious sailing yacht instead of wood.
Having been to Letterkenny Ontario, I really appreciated the reference! Keep up the awesome work Sarah!
Y'know Sarah, the best parts of your videos are when you do indeed go off-script. You're the adorable sister I never had 🙂
What script?
Especially the "Above my head..." ad-libs. Sarah should do rap 😎
@@SarahnTuned Well, gosh, so many places. I'd almost bet you have a general idea of what you want to say and how you want to say it. You mentally press the Go button and off we all go. Myself, well, I enjoyed the explanation of the T-VIS system and totally agree with you choosing to keep it. I'm just wondering who's now planning a coloring book filled with nothing but broccoli. Oh... and I enjoyed watching your brain break - or brain brake. 🙂
@@SarahnTunedyou know "Off script" like "OEM parts"... from China or Bangladesh. 😅 😉
I love your videos and am looking forward to you completing the Selly Ku you keep talking about.
Your video's are getting better all the time. I'm hooked
Awesome content as always, thanks for your commitment to quality.
I wanna come down on weekends to help you lol. You are so detail oriented I love it!
Sarah gets the ladder out and cleans the roof of her workshop every time it rains.
Thanks for the Spotify playlists. I have enjoyed listening to them. We have similar musical tastes.
