+gurgling skate I'm trying to play some megaman (inspired by scatt at fusion 3), but the most I can currently do is throw everything I can at the opponent in odd timings to disrupt shields and jumps, try to keep em out with them pellets and finish with the aerials

+2frikinbeast Nah, most are garbage. That's why there are only like 5 in the competitive scene that people know about. It's cause he's kinda hard to master cause you need to learn a bunch of setups and item movement patterns to make it in competitive. That and a lot of us just don't take the game seriously enough to be good in competitive, we just like having fun.

I once got 2 stocked by a PAC MAN main in for Glory. The shit he did was exactly similar to how this guy was playing. I stood no chance...

Picking up Pacman might take a while. He is a very technical character with all of his traps, but once you master it playing Pacman is very fun!

I fucking love him. Every game feels special in its own right, each game you win feels deserved, and his kit allows for creative opportunity. Allowing for longer strings of custom combos other than Down throw into an Aerial.

Stylish as hell. Surely one of the better put-together combo/string montages on CZcams. Though I've seen other characters such as Ryu pull off lengthier and perhaps more reliable and effective combos many times this one really gets the creativity and novelty character bonuses! I NEVER knew that useless, telegraphed and punishable side-special was secretly that useful!

While my actual skill never approached this, throwing things at the opponent has never worked so well.

How is PAC-MAN low tier? As a PAC-MAIN, I think he should be on the higher side of A tier. He has endless uses for the hydrant and launching it in certain ways that adds pressure. The fruits' properties, when the PAC-MAIN knows them, can be VERY effective against his opponents, especially if the opponent never bothered to know how PAC-MAN works. He's good at making his opponents feel scared, and end up shielding, and PAC's grab is alright for punishing players who like to shield. Fundamentally, he's OK, his recovery options cover a lot of distance but they're quite punishable.
+gamecubeguy214 Compared to how good the top and high tier characters tools and frame data are, pac man just isn't as viable. While someone can be good with him, it doesn't make him high tier.

+Bob McMullan terrible grab game and moves that don't damage enough hurt him. plus if an opponent is item savvy then they can usually shut down a large part of his game. also he has a hard time with heavy hitting rush down characters. I play him a lot and I think he needs a small buff to really help the character succeed further. plus a reliable kill option before 130% would really help
