Janice, I worked the front office at Kroger for 13 years. There is a place for a 10 number alternate ID. Just put your phone number in there and you never have to have your card with you. You just click ALT ID on the keypad and enter your number. You can also get a card for Shawn or an older child. Then you can click digital coupons on each account. Just do separate checkouts and you could get 5 weekly specials on each card. Hope this helps!

Kroger's customer service phone line is usually good about fixing things if coupons don't apply when they should have. I've had them give a "customer relations" credit to our Kroger account in a similar situation. Since you did have the coupons loaded on your account the day you went shopping, it seems that they would fix it. Our family enjoys your channel and the tips on good grocery sales!

Janice go ahead and get an adjustment. It happens to me every once and awhile and they seem they are used to it. It is easier to go while the sale is still going on since you do not have a sale ad but they may have one. Also you can put your card on your phone and they scan that. I have not used a card in a couple of years now and you can scan everything to make sure you clipped the coupon. Please go back they can adjust it.
I feel so bad for you! I hope you can do what the subscriber recommended about calling Kroger. Please don't be hard on yourself, you were the same wonderful person who cleaned up after a bad storm this week-my heart was so touched that everyone just pitched in and did "the next right thing!" I feel for you on the Kroger issue! I just had to go to the service desk yesterday because one of the coupons that I was sure I had clipped was not clipped. The gal told me that this was a common problem with the app and it was sometimes only fixed the day before the sale ended. If you are going back anyway, maybe you could take this receipt, explain the problem and just see if they can do something since you are still in the same sales period. They are usually very understanding and willing to help out in my experience! I think it is worth a try! You are a great customer there. Go Janice!

When you go back to Kroger for the oranges, take your receipt in and have the service desk fix it for you.
Hi, contact the store. They should be aware they have a quality control issue. Most stores in my area will double or triple refund the price for the inconvenience. If you have to return the product, they will let you know when you call. Just put a bag over it until next visit, most companies will just take your word. A picture is another option. Janice, if you have to go in on Friday anyway, call Aldi's and explain it, tell them you can't make it in till Friday. Most likely they'll just let you exchange it.

I mainly shop Walmart in my town & Aldi. I work >50 hours as a RN and have 7 grandkids I pitch in with so no time to do anything more. Our stores don’t really have ads. The yard looks great, good work!

Our Kroger card is very old too, I had search through our stuff to find the password my husband had used for the account so I could log in to be able to add the digital coupons. With regard to the grape tomatoes, I found the same thing with our Aldi here in Florida. They were prominently showing the Cherubs but hid the regular grape tomatoes around the corner from the display.

Janice, I think all of us have made the mistake of not having the right card with us at a store. I am confident that if you bring in your receipt and your card and go to customer service, they’ll give you a refund on those sale items you ended up getting at regular price because of the card issue. PLEASE consider doing that!

Have you ever thought about blessing a family with the gift cards that are going hungry because they have no budget at all. Omg, I haven't had a physical card for Kroger in years! So sorry you had that issue, but glad you've attached an alt I'd. I would also recommend their app. I find that easier than the website, and it has a scannable barcode as well.
