Seeing Sarah crying , holding dear Agnes, with other children near, made me cry for sure. But it really shows life on the farm….a side that is truly real and hard. Prayers for all.
Seeing Sarah cry just broke my heart. I know people say that animals don't go to heaven but, I just do not believe that. My heart has always told me that the precious animals that God places in our life for us to love and to be loved back do go to heaven and will be there to greet us when we finally get to go home. I'm sorry, but I just can't see God putting that precious and unconditional love into your life and not letting you spend eternity together. I don't believe in my heart that God would ever take that away forever. I just don't. He knows to well the sweet and tender love between us and the animals He placed here for us to raise and love with our heart.
Offering prayers and good thoughts up to God today for all of you but, with a special prayer to protect Sarah's precious heart.

Sarah I am so sorry you lost your little baby lamb . I know how you feel . I have bottle fed many baby goats and I get so attached . It completely breaks my heart if one passes . But you know that little baby felt your love for its whole short life. Just keep loving your animals because a loving compassionate heart is a treasure . ❤

@@1977GBH I do too. Three years ago, I lost a Plott hound. Love him so very much. We had a special connection. I have chronic breathing problems. He would realize when I was going to have a rough day. He stayed by my side. I made a blanket with his pictures on it. When I want to feel him close by, I wrap up in that blanket.

She couldn't have been born to a better family to care for her, and all she ever knew in her short little life was all the love and special attention that surrounded her while she was here. I know how hard it is to lose those special little gifts from God. I too held my Yorkie dog until he took his last breath. It’s something I’ll never forget and it took a little while to let it go. Just know she knows she was loved and comforted by you. Bless you and your Mama.❤

That was my grandmother’s name on my dad’s side and we called her Aggie since it was his stepmother! Good luck with the remaining duck eggs hope they hatch out for you! I listen to flute music on youtube. It is spiritual. We wennt to a Pow Wow years ago and I felt inspired. Little did I know of Cherokee in a little of my family tree. The drums. Oh, I hear them now. Such peace for what the world dishes out. My cup is overflowing with Christ. 🙏

Aww I am sooooo sorry about Agnes. I could feel your pain and heart break and I cried with you. I hope Sarah knows she did a phenomenal job with making sure Agnes had the best life she could for the short time she was with you guys. She definitely made that little baby feel calm and loved. I have had 2 kittens on 2 different occasions die while I was trying to help them. The first was in my hands and the second was rejected and dying. I put it down my shirt so it would be warm and be near my heartbeat like you would do for a human baby. I tried to save her but she passed away in there.
I just got thinking after hearing the price of that turkey (Yikes!) that maybe to save money on lunch meat for the person, if when you make a roast or turkey or something, set aside and bag individual amounts for future sandwiches. That way you know exactly what is in it and you can just thaw it out as needed for each sandwich instead of having to thaw all of it. A small pack would thaw fast. Deli meat is expensive for just the regular stuff. I know it's all still new but it looks like you all are figuring things out and doing great with it. I know personally what it's like to have special diet items and foods to avoid. It becomes more normal but the person will always have bit of a grudge watching other people enjoy the foods they can't. That can't be avoided though. At least I do anyways lol I see people enjoying strawberry creations or citrus juices and I can't have it. There are other items I can't have but those are the 2 that gets me the most, especially in the summer time. I have always bought it for my kids though. It's great that there are a lot more special diet items than when I was young and going through it.

I know how you feel Sarah, I lost my little Roxi she was the best little yorkie she was 16. I know how hard it is to loose a family member, Roxi will be gone 2 yrs October 29. I miss her everyday. I’m so sorry for your loss.
