I want to thank you…after I watched you do it I have been marking my cans with the expiration date either on the top or side of the can. I am a single woman and like to have a small stocked pantry at all times. I don’t always go through my cans, etc quickly. This way I can easily spot the ones I should use next. Manufacturers don’t always mark those dates in the same place so I just take time when I put things away to find them. Thank you, thank you!

$11 over isn't bad seeing you are throwing a big party for David! I think you did pretty good for the month!! Even with the 1 more sales ad and Azure, as long as you prepare ahead for it you are still doing grest!! Now that the summer kitchen is almost done, you will be able to have more of a reserve for these special occassions that come up, so they don't cause trouble with your budget!!

Regarding the lemons: If by chance, you like to cut your lemons in half instead of wedges... Save the rinds/peels for using as muffin pan liners! I save/freeze orange and lemon rinds. I pop one in each muffin pan cup, and pour the batter in. The lemon is great with blueberry muffin batter! Apple-cinnamon batter in orange cups smells devine when baking.

In my Azure Standard order I picked up today (I am in Alabama) one thing I got was 25 lbs. red kidney beans for $28.46 I just happened to get on Sams Club web site tonight and their 25 lb. bags of kidney beans are $40.98. I have never noticed such a price difference. I love your videos and look forward to each one.

Thank you for last week grocery haul. I had never done the digital coupons at Kroger. But I did it and got me 5 of the strawberry 2# ea for $2.99!! and oh my goodness 2 of the $3.99 for 8# navel oranges. They are huge! Was super excited. Thank you again 😊
I store the rice I use in the kitchen in those big pretzel tubs
Lot of the stuff you got from Sam's club you might find you and your family like the taste and quality better than Aldi Kroger Walmart or that other store that adds 10 percent you might like the sams products better

I found 16 oz Pace Picante @ Dollar Tree not too long ago for $1.25. Probably because the dates were only about 3 months out, but still I stocked up enough to get me through the summer. I have also purchased a version of those coconut rolls @ Dollar Tree but it was around last holiday season. Don't think I've seem them since but they were VERY delicious, especially dipped in Cool Whip, lol. I agree with you on the pretzel container; it inspires all kinds of ways to repurpose it.

I use those pretzel jugs to store rice, dry beans (I buy them in bulk), also when I bake batches of cookies or muffins I store them in there also and put them so they are visible and get eaten up. They store flour pretty good also.
In my area sams club is cheaper online for the 90/10 ground beef! It's cheaper by like $1 per lb almost!

If you're ever in a pinch for tortillas, they are super easy to make.. But I'm sure it would be a lot of work for your family 😊 Also just got into homade salsa, so easy and the flavor can't be beat... Things to do w the garden

I laughed so hard at how much I feel that pain of not catching the weekly sale. I'm traveling and can't seem to coordinate the logistics of the KOAs and the timing and locations of Kroger's for the weekly sales. And I passed some Aldi's that we don't have in Alaska. It's killing me.

I broke the budget on Azure this month, but they have apples on sale, and since it looks like my apples froze out this year… i took advantage of them and we are trying not to go to a traditional store, especially Kroger in our area

I don't do any online ordering I prefer to pick out my own stuff and since I'm always looking for markdown food and non-food items it works better for me
