"They needed the blood of christ to kill it." I forgot about that. Such an extreme way to defeat it. 😂😂😂😂😂
I still can’t believe that was a plot point😂
Since she keeps coming back, what happens when they run out?
Better than an unrealistic fist fight with a demon lol
@@3CFilmsr u going to release a trailer for ur Funko Pop collection video?
The blood of Jesus Christ is the only way to defeat demons.
Day 20 of asking Cris to bring back "Reading negative reviews on movies I love"
That'd be an awesome idea
YES! It would be awesome if he brought back this series
My mom just asked what I’m doing this weekend and I said:
It’s NUN ya bizness
Honestly, I gave up on the Conjuring movies when they cancelled the Crooked Man movie. That was one I was looking forward to the most and I’m still sad that we’ll never get to see it now
THEY ARE GOING TO DO THE CROOKED MAN
@@philliptiestopl1511first of all, why do you always have your caps on, second of all, where's your source for this claim
@@tylerprime9555he probably forgot to turn caps off
@@CarlosRivera-es5vh see, I would agree.. if their other comments weren't in all caps from different videos across different dates 💀
omg I thought I was the only one that was pissed about this 😂😭
I feel like in many ways Michael Chaves is still sort of finding himself as a director. He is smart and can film well but is still learning how to augment the foundations previously laid in The Conjuring Universe. The Nun II displayed that. However I still found it a very good effort and definitely a slight step up from the first at least. I wish him the best in his future improving sequel development. My man has potential!
Yeah, I honestly was so mad that Michael Chaves did such a shit job with the first nun, the one conjuring sequel he did, and la llarona. But you're right, he has Hella potentially, he just has to get a better script, cause the beat by beat cliche scenes are really overrated
@@foolsAmongstGhouls For sure! Also polite correction, he didn't actually direct The Nun, Corin Hardy did, it can be easy to get the directors confused lol, Michael clearly was just doing the best he could with what was left from the original, and for something that wasn't that great, he definitely did a good job creating his sequel I'd say
Is the nun still a man?
@@tuquang.5203 Do you mean as in a male entity? If so, Valak has always been considered a male entity in mythology yet in The Nun the demon takes the feminine form which is a nun, also played by an actress
@@josephleoned Yes thanks
Rule no. 1: Don’t listen to critics with horror movies
*turns out shit just like the critic said it was* SHOCKER
Or any movie in general if you really wanna go there. Or just critics in general on literally anything.
Exactly
I said the same thing man. The third act valak was going crazy and it’s rly suspenseful. Then it just ends after the prayer, that was a little weird how fast it went by
for as strong as valak is sure was nice to no just insta kill them at the end
Yeah face it chaves weaknesses is storytelling in horror movies
Anything now I jus gonna watch it if guy from creation or wan returns to direct 🤦😂
@@Fabian__. man hell na
@@Cobratruth yes but in the beginning of the new one she showed how strong she was then when she had a mine character in her clutch nothing
@@Fabian__. I’m sayin the ending was not good
It’s a great day when 3C films uploads 🎉
“Is this the Men in Black for ghosts?”
No, it’s the Rest in Piece Department.
Lol
I haven't seen the movie, but the way you describe them making Sister Irene a 'Nun Detective', the fact that the actors for Irene and Lorraine are related, and the way the first Nun tied itself back in to the first Conjuring movie makes me wonder if they aren't trying to set up a sort of bloodline rivalry thing a la Merrin and Pazuzu.
A Nun detective.... I'll just stick with Wan's older films thank you very much (christ a nun detective sounds awful)
you hit the nail on the head.
Nah its like chaves got bucket of red wine douse end of film with overtop carnage 😂
I did like the first one more. I think it had a better atmosphere, which was probably because the Nun was a lesser seen entity going into that one. Very disappointed the mid credits wasn't more impactful.
idk man, me and my friend saw this and at first we were a bit scared but then it just became super funny.
like, the nun looked goofy, the possessed guy when he first appeared said "hello sisters" in a batman voice, the two main characters decided to pray at the same time the possessed guy was trying to stab the little girl, the boy swinging the thing at the old woman was hilarious when you think about it, etc
I loved the first nun so I'm definitely excited to see this one.
Same. Although I think this one maybe a disappointment.
@@s.r6331no i watched it its a pretty scary lovie!
Just watched nun 2… way better than the disappointment that the first one was! Pretty good
Don't get your hopes up...
I love your reviews. Your not sugarcoating it at all. You say stuff on how u feel about the scenes and I appreciate it so much 😊😊😊
Chris doesn't lie in his reviews, you know our boy ain't getting that $50 Rotten Tomato review bonus 😂
I definitely think the first 2 Conjurings and Annabelle Creations are the best also. Then I'd go Annabelle 3, Annabelle 1, then the NUN. Didn't see La Lunora but I'm going to check out the NUN 2 for sure
La lunora is super good
I'm pretty stoked for it actually! Glad it improved upon the first one cuz the Nun is like my FAVORITE horror antagonist. Glad to see her getting quality screentime since Conjuring 2!
Your reviews make me so happy bro i watch you all the time, hope your day was good❤!
I'm actually pretty excited for this sequel I think it's got a lot of good potential after seeing some of the trailers although a lot of people hated the first nun movie I had a decent good time with it in fact I took a friend of mine to go see it in 2019 and she got scared shitless with the hallway scene where the nun was following Sister Irene and then the jump-scare out of nowhere my friend didn't see any trailers for the first nun movie and she had a good time so I'm excited to check this one out even though a lot of people hated the first movie I had a good time and I'm excited to see what they do with this second film I'm definitely going to go watch it and form my own opinions on the movie
The thumbnail goes hard 💀💀
As a horror lover, I left pleased. I liked the film. Lots of Nun & lots of 💀
I surprisingly liked the sequel more than the original. It had plenty of jump scares and some genuinely scary moments.
This is basically a super hero movie, looks like they are competing for the infinity stones.. 😂😂😂
I’m planning on seeing it soon let’s hope it’s good. I know the first movie wasn’t that good but I like a lot of the other conjuring universe films.
I actually liked the first nun movie can I ask why people are hating on it
@@dont-_-touch I wouldn’t say I hate the movie I just think the other conjuring universe movies are better.
Understandable I don't know maybe it's me but I think the nun did really good especially on the jump scares etc
@@dont-_-touch have you seen the nun 2.
First movie is not thath bad like people say, it's better than Insidious The Red Door
One part that was whack was when the goat demon couldn't push through a door that was held by 3 girls.
I watched it yesterday it was fun just lower your expectations and the final act wassss wilddd ❤❤❤
Out of all the three conjuring movies. The one I hate is the devil made me do it. And the most scary is the first because it was meant to be a PG13 But James Wan put a lot of history from the book which the real Andrea Parron made
I thoroughly enjoyed The Nun. If this one is better than the first then I'm all in. 🎥 🍿 🌭 👻
Love ur emojis 😂
I see this being slightly better then the first one, afther All the mediocre/garbage from the Conjuring Universe lately I don't have much high hopes for this Movie
tbh for me the first one was better, this one was so boring and not scary
Thanks for the review!I'll be seeing this today with my cousins
1:35 honestly, I liked the first Nun movie better, felt scarier, I laughed a lot from the Nun 2 tbh, it wasn’t as scary, had less action, the ending was dumb to me, took the Nun’s personality away.
Yes I’ve been waiting for you to do a review 🙏🏼
I find these a guilty pleasure. As it’s not that great or amazing, I enjoy them due to taking my thinking cap off and go along with it. Looking forward to see tomorrow! Red lights…💪🏼
I agree with you the nun 1 was a disapponintment. But with the nun 2 it was almost perfect could they do some things better i am sure they could but in most parts this is a great movie for me one i Will most definitively watch again
Bruh, the first movie creeped me out, I dug it!!!
I'm glad it's a better film than the first. I'm seeing it tonight with my girl
I really enjoyed the first NuN movie and looking forward to the sequel. The way it sounds has me hopeful.
That swinging thing is a burner for incense btw 😂
Thanks for the Review and Video 😀
Just got out of the theater after watching this movie I felt like it was better than the first one definitely a better story and I had fun watching it! 👻
Yesss I enjoyed it
no the first one is def better.
The nun 2 had frenchie running around in suspenders for 30 min and this film only had valak in it for about 3 min in total. The first 20 min was good and valak was creepy then it got boring. This was about a romance between french and a teacher. Most of the good scenes from the trailer was not in this. When the girl shines the flashlight around seeing valak step out of the shawdows looks great. So they took that out and had an old lady with her back turned looking in a corner instead? Where was the scene sister irene was surrounded by faceless nuns in the alley? Killing valak by saying a quick prayer and having valak die by moscato sweet red wine? CMON. Didnt she burn up and evaporate the holy water in the beggining?
I honestly enjoyed this movie more than the 1rst movie however thought the way the defeated the nun valak this time around was dumb compared to the first time they defeated her in the first nun movie
that is honestly horrible to hear because i dont know how it could be more dumb than the first movie LMFAO. still gonna go see it though
@@hunterpendley7723 no to me it made sense in the first movie using a holy relic that held the blood of Jesus made sense the way they defeated valak in the 2nd movie was just dumb & the only part i didnt like about the movie they could of came up with a better way
THE FIRST NUN FILM WAS GOOD I DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL THE HATE IT GETS
hands down best movie review and movie news channel 😭💯👏🙏💫🔥
vid hasn’t even loaded yet and i already trust his opinion ✊
1:30 “spoilers ahead. watch out. and take care.” IYKYK 😂😂
5/10… Evil dead Rise is still the Top 1
I rewatched the first one, and I'm sorry, but part one is far better than the sequel. The CGI was so horrible that I almost laughed a few times. The new characters were a bit obnoxious, which is expected of younger characters, but it still irritated me because it didn't have much to do with the overall plot. For instance, the little girl with pigtails encounters Valik so often that I do not care whether she lives or dies because I am tired of the teasing. Also, could someone explain how Maurice was possessed at the end of part one and is exorcized in part two, but he is still possessed by Valik when the conjuring starts, which is about twenty years later? So the exorcism never worked?
Seeing little kids thrown around and nun detectives is enough to get me in that seat
You called it the Conjuring 2😂
I heard that too lol…had to pause for a second until he said storm reid im like oh he still talking about The Nun
I heard that too lol…had to pause for a second until he said storm reid im like oh he still talking about The Nun
I just got this video notification and I'm sitting in the theater parking lot in zanesville oh waiting to see this movie in an hour.
This movie in no way tied up with the other conjuring films like the director and producer said. No connection to Lorraine Warren other than a flash forward, and how did the nun appear later in the conjuring if she was killed here?
will the nun 2 cure my depression and lack of friends and family that actually care about me.
Hope you feel better soon, sorry to hear about this
Me to .😊
Awesome video 3c films
Every time the story revolves around that the nun needs something and the sister irene stops it the jump scares wew decent but movie wasn't up to the mark they need a good story or maybe valak should win in the climax that would be interesting 😂
when you do the final ratings, for the "where to watch" category, it would be so funny if you add a "watch a pirated version" option
The nun 2 for was not a good movie. I enjoyed the first one and have high expectations on this one. Honestly, 3 main concerns are the nun was made to be powerful but got defeated in the end very easily by a bunch of kids, an inexperienced nun and another plot amor nun )well at least for now)the goat was so random and didn't understand this philp imitation, the movie was also anti Climatic reminded me of a scooby doo episode of the crew just running room to room.
I'm curious, what are the 5 movies that get the 5 stars on each category so we can see the reference you take.
I really liked the first nun because of the soundtrack, corridor of crosses got me all shivery, I liked the second one because it was like a pissed off demon that just wanted the victims dead
Controversial saying: i don't think any conjuring movies are bad, so i really love this movie but it isn't perfect.
Curious what your top scary movies are. Was going to see nun 2 but now i think ill wait. Definetly going to see Saw X in theatres
Im surprised people don’t like the third act… it was funny, scary and just the most engaging moment of the whole movie…
Question: How reliable is the scooper DanielRPK?
The first nun was fun and entertaining. Not a perfect film and very jump scare heavy, but I enjoyed it
I kinda liked the first Nun and am excited to see this one, however La Llorona and Conjuring 3 are my least favorite movies in the universe so I have huge doubts
I liked the first movie better , Michael Chaves is not a very good director . The Nun 2 had elements very similar to Conjuring 3 wich i did not like. The first movie is how i really imagine The Nun , The Nun 2 was almost like an action movie
Sorry but I thought the dialogue was terrible/exposition based, and the scene were the librarian/priest says "im just a librarian, i dont know much" then goes on to tell them who valak is, what valaks plan is, how to beat him, where to find the McGuffin to beat him....
I just punched out mentality and was bored out of my mind from then on out.
To bad, Valak is a GREAT horror villian. Conjuring 2 is one of my all time favs. The directors and screenwriters don't know how to handle his character since.
The swinging smoke device that a pope/priest uses I believe is called a thurible.
Honestly I truly don't understand how people don't like the first Nun. I think it's an amazing movie.
Now I probably don't agree with his negatives because this was my first conjuring universe movie ive seen in person so I was really excited for it.
Can’t believe that Maurice in the nun 1 and 2 is the same guy in the beginning of the conjuring on the projector who Ed and Loraine had to help.
I watched this movie a while ago, I'm really satisfied and I want to recommend it to everyone to watch it, the movie is made to have faith, only with faith in Christ everything is possible. does anyone who saw the movie know if she took her eyes with her when she was sent to hell or ?
I heard this film is pretty good as they amped up the gore and the tension. I will go check it out!
Tension yes, not so much the gore
Thank you for the review made my day after i walked 5 hrs back home from school
When are you going to HHN? I’m guessing here in LA right? My wife works at USH
I love the halloween shirt Chris
The only thing I'll disagree with for that end "ranking" is that Annabelle 3 rules
The premise is dope, just ended up liking it not loving it
@3CFilms yeah it get it, it's def not a great film but I can't pretend i don't have so much fun with it. Although another movie where Annabelle herself does shit
Unlike 95% of the world, I enjoyed the first so maybe I’ll like this one 😂
Yeah it isnt amazing but its so overhated
2:10 that high official pope would be a bishop
Did anyone get frustrated when he didnt pick a tomato and give it to the lady, just me?
Honestly so excited to see it in 4Dimax tomorrow eeek!
5:17 well thats a shame cause I heard this was going to be the most violent film in The Conjuring universe
Also the Men in Black but for ghosts, wonder if that was Akela Cooper's purpose , since shes now known for camp horror films
Have you seen the news that AMC can film their shows as well as promote them because they made an agreement with the writers and actors
I am going to The Nun 2 tomorrow. I found your review very interesting as l found the first movie really good. So, I'm really going to ❤ the second one
Can't wait to see the director's cut where every jump scare is replaced with "directed by Michael Chaves". That's true horror!
Hot take: The first nun isn’t that bad
Btw love your channel!!💜
I respect your opinion 🫡
@@3CFilms thx, you’re my fav youtuber!!
3C films Have you seen the Godzilla minus one trailer??
I really enjoyed The Nun but The Nun II is a big improvement and I love it.
My ranking:
1. The Conjuring 2
2. The Conjuring
3. The Nun II
4. Annabelle: Creation
5. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
6. The Nun
7. Annabelle Comes Home
8. Annabelle
9. The Curse of La Llorona
I’m so excited for this movie since it’s coming out tomorrow aka my birthday so this is pretty much an awesome birthday present for me
Sorry but I really liked The Nun 2. I just watched it and I think u underrated a lot of it. The 3rd act was crazy in a good way
I'm seeing that tomorrow it looks like it's gonna be good as the first one😀😀👌🏽💯💯
For real ..when Valak uses the boy to kill his mom with the pentacle ..that was fckd up
The blood of Jesus does not kill Valak it just send her back to Hell
The funniest scene in Annabelle is where the demon drop kicks the lady down the stairs😂😂😂
i watch your vids when i eat and when i’m doing the dishes 😭
I wanted to see more of the goat...coming down the stairs was something else
So like the other kills that we’re kinda tame was there still blood or just a cut away?…
Still had some blood mixed with cutaway’s
Love you bro❤
Chris did you see the new goosebumps teaser trailer?
Bro I’m going tonight. I missed the first nun. Do I need to watch the first one before I go? Or can I skip it? I don’t know if I have time
To do watch it.
You do not need to watch the first one. You can skip it. In the second part they do explain what had happened in first part.
I think it’s interesting that they're marketing Valek as the “greatest evil” in the Conjuring universe. Like isn’t the Devil literally an antagonist in this Franchise?
He’s literally an antagonist in this film too.
@@BboyDJFLIPThe goat monster was actually supposed to be the devil? I thought it was one of Valak’s manifestations.
Does this take place after the conjuring exorcism they show on the projector?
Takes place wayy before.
I saw your tweet about the FNAF movie runtime
