The mid-credit scene Grace is just The Warrens answering their phone. I guess setting up a new chapter for them & to take out the Nun maybe?? Not sure.
@@brentmaxey20100 It can't be the nun because The Nun movies are set in the 50's but the Warrens defeated Valak (the nun) in The Conjuring 2 wich is set in the 70's.

I had enjoyed it a lot. I thought it felt more like a Conjuring film than Conjuring 3 did. And you can see where things go from here. They really are laying out things cleverly. I sure hope we get a part 3!
Conjuring 3 was a big let down. It's not a bad movie but it felt like it's supposed to be first in a franchise. As in, it's not that good but has potential.

@@Vynzentas someone who kinda hates the first two, I had a better time with conjuring 3 because at least there’s like some kills, and fun in it, the second one is so boring I think it could trigger narcolepsy.

I recently rewatched Nun 1 and it’s really not as bad as people made it out to be IMO. This one was about on the same level. They both had thin stories but were overall pretty good with some memorable visuals (that smoke scene was great). 7/10
I agree. Even if the plot wasn't the best, the atmosphere was great! Scares we're pretty good too. The nun's praying, and the crucifix hall part are pretty effective as well. Especially when the main character starts feeling faint from the presence of the Nun.
Grace laughing at her ammusebuche joke made me genuinely smile with happiness

I was thinking she might’ve been a younger version of the female warren character. Cause they look so similar. Didn’t know she was the youngest sister. Makes sense now.

😊just saw it and yes it is worth watching for fans of the conjuverse. It also revealed why Ms. Warren & her Nun Sister are gifted in miracles. (Ain't Spoiling it)

The Nicole Kidman gets me everytime I visit the states 😭😂 people applauded to that ad each and every single time it's hilarious. That being said I am one of the few who really liked the first one, it was really atmospheric. So i'm excited. Strange how I've barely seen any marketing for this,almost forgot it came out tbh.
they are making a new ad and they are going to play into the meme, it is going to be a trainwreck lol (I say as a non-american but who hears about it all the time)
i actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It was a lot better then the first, had creative and great scares, the storyline was fun, it just was good.

Better than the first Nun movie is all I needed to hear. I was sad that it seemed that the Conjuring universe might be on a steady-ish decline. I was gonna see it regardless but still.

Why are people who haven't seen the 1st nun in a while really bothering to review the second one? I watch the first one before seeing the second. I love it.

The first one was pretty good and I really liked this one. That magazine stand scene was really awesome.
This movie was good. Better than the first one. Almost like for Annabel. First wasn’t great but second was. I also liked how they connected sister Irene and Lorraine warren.

Watched this yesterday, alone in a real IMAX screen. I was expecting to be more scared since I was watching alone in a huge IMAX screen, but I endured it better than I anticipated. It didn't feel like a continuation of the first movie stylistically, which I kinda like but it has more potential tbh. The Nun was way scarier when I watched it in the cinema back then, here it was tamed down. All in all this was fine, better than the first, but not the amazing.
Grace you broke my heart how come you have not care about saw movies the first one is a masterpiece. They are good give them another chance
The creepy adventure setting of the first one is all they had going for them.
I hope this one really is better then because without that big creepy castle I don't see it standing out either.

I think you could study the script in film school. When it comes to structure and pacing… the writer did an amazing job IMO.

I used to be super anal about going early to movies showings. But the trailers are so long nowadays Im super relax and chill about it. My movie crew are alot happier. lol

Went to see it last night. I forgot most of the first one. The second one did seem better. The first 10 minutes would have made more sense if the nun wasn't so forgettable
I've not seen the first Nun movie, I gave up the the Conjuring universe of movies after Annabelle Creation, even thought I liked that movie, I just stopped.
I think grace needs to stay away from reviewing horror movies, they clearly are not her thing.... I really haven't seen her do a full positive review for a horror movie 🤣
I find your recent comments about being bored of movies filmed in Europe a bit random Grace. Imagine if everyone else got bored that every other movie is filmed in the states. It’s an odd comment.

The first Nun has more mystery and suspense. The new is just let's go to beat the Nun.
Just got home from watching it. My bf liked it and while I thought that the story and characters were a bit better in this one, it wasn’t by much. The movie was boring and only like 2 or 3 scares were effective

Grace can remember ALL the characters in the Marvel universe yet she can´t do the same for the ones in Harry Potter or the Conjuring Universe with very few movies in contrast. How does it make sense?
We just got home a couple hours ago from our screening of A Haunting in Venice & I’m soooooooo excited about your review. II think it’s the best out of the three in the installation, by far. And think it will be what brings horror fans into the theater, because of word of mouth. Sorry, it was either twitter or CZcams & just enjoy CZcams more.
