    Nice video. My coach taught me in the 1990’s that if you make a tight net shot, your opponent has 2 option; re-net or lift high and deep. If high and deep, you have enough time to backup from the net to the baseline. My coach was Alex Lian.

    I am a beginner and I just started playing neutral shots till the other player makes a mistake… yes it takes alottt of energy out of me but ive got the endurance.
    I spent 3 years so far in a badminton academy… its so hard!! Im 39 years old .

      Thanks man. Yea, that strategy takes some endurance but it's bulletproof :D

      39 is still young, I am 72 and have been playing for over 50 years. Lately, I wanted to revive my muscles as everything is getting old, weak, and saggy. So, I started training 3 years ago - 3 days a week, then 4 days a week, now, 6 days a week and some nights 4-5 hours long. You are never too old unless you have a physical problem. I train with 3 different coaches to get the full explanations of how things works and why. The next best advice is to watch the BWF tournaments and study women’s doubles for strategy and men’s singles on how to beat your opponent.

    Crosscourt smashes are anyways hard to execute.
    I prefer down the line punch clears / stick smash.

    Can you make a video on shuttle speed and selection. Which sghuttle speed is used in zBWF tournaments which are played recently like Singapore open and Thailand open.

    The last one always happens with me. I give a net shot and get back to the middle of the court thinking that my opponent will toss to the back and I will have enough time to take that shot. But my opponent is always smarter than me. He gives a return net drop checkmating me again and again.

      If they play aggressively then you might try to prolong the rally but then your stamina must be superior.

    God video. Men seriøsiteten bliver svækket af alle de fejl i den automatiske transskriptionen. Er det ikke muligt at redigere den?

    • @ShuttleLife
      @ShuttleLife  Před rokem

      Jo den kan sagtens rettes til. Er det den engelske transskription du tænker på eller har du den oversat til dansk?
