Using the Tab S7+ to type this comment. I love the AMOLED screen, speakers, and expandable storage on the Tab S7+. That being said, the iPads ARM chip is a monster and the optimization of their OS is great. If these two could have a baby, man.
The Tab S7 does still have 120hz but they did change the display to a in house custom LCD panel. Still great colours but you definitely don’t get those true blacks that an AMOLED would produce. While the Tab S7+ does use there Dynamic AMOLED X2 displays. Hopefully this clears up the confusion 😊
This isn't the Tab s7+ it's the Tab s7, and it ditched the amoled display :) But the reason they gave is probably incorrect if the bigger model does have a 120Hz OLED.
@@HeyitsHudson there is no confusion, the confusion is the reviewer not mentioning it to presume the S7 doesn't come in a better display. He is a apple salesman not a reviewer

Exactly I knew I wasn’t the only one who peeped that like Samsung is actually pretty original in majority of their designs just bc they have a similar backing to it doesn’t mean they are “copying” 😭😭.
Fun fact: Samsung ISN'T copying Apple, they just work together BUT they try to see who can sell more. SO BASICALLY THEY ARE HAVING A COMPETITION IG. but still share ideas and help each other
Apple was always the winner in performance and design every other companies just followed through they are the most powerful tablets ever made. Nothing compares to an iPad Pro. Samsung will never beat Apple because it always seems to copy in different ways not necessarily “better” smh everything in here was copied from Apple : Face ID, the concept of pencil , lcd display , “work across other devices”? Haha Apple was the one that came up with it ! Stick to the iPad Pro trust me you won’t regret not a single problem I had ,not one ☝️
@@sumaira3 I had the 10.5 inch iPad Pro, & I had 17 problems, also it was unreasonably bendable. In addition to that: the Spen was first, coming out in September 2011, while the Apple pencil came out in march 2016.
Osvaldo Rodríguez compared to what? 11” iPad Pro? No. You may prefer the aspect ratio and slightly higher resolution, but iPad Pro is brighter, you might prefer it’s aspect ratio too and it’s less reflective. You actually could watch in 1440p and 4K on both iOS and iPadOS, but for some reason CZcams ditched the options in recent updates (for me at least and other people)
Unfortunately this video is not a Fair Flight. You Have To Compare The 2020 iPad Pro vs The 2020 Galaxy Tab S7+. 👎 The Galaxy Tab S7 is more Comparable to the 2020 iPad Air (4th Gen)
It's not in the same it uses the camera the iPad pros uses a special sensor that shoots like 10,000 something beans at your face and takes in the actual 3D scan where the tab S7 can be tricked with a photo
Recently, Ipad has been lacking in competitiveness compared to Android tablets. I've had an iPad mini 2 for a couple years now, and I'm considering to switch to a Samsung tablet.
So much stuff missing in this video. You just can't do this video without mentioning the S7+. It's Amoled and is also 120 hz and is way beautiful than these two.
I think the new iPad Air would be a good comparison for the Tab S7. Yeah it's only 60hz, but pricing is similar, and it also has a fingerprint scanner.
@@maxl8888 then why should we buy an inferior device for the same price? Do you compare the most expensive Tesla model with a Camry? No, we don't, do we?

Apple is like a BMW and Samsung is a Mercedes.
He likes to make apple look better for some reason, comparing s7 and not the s7+. The video on the s7 is much better and the microphone! The speakers on the s7 was amazing. I think the screen on the s7 look much better, the iPad looks yellowish. Choose wisely people.
For me, the question doesn't even arise whether Samsung or Apple. The iPad just has too many disadvantages for me: No amoled no SD slot Pencil must be purchased separately Battery life less No cinema format No HDR 10+ OS too inflexible Expensive .. .. The iPad is more for users who like to have a manufacturer dictate how they can use their device and the Samsung tablet is more for creative people who use their device the way they want it
I still can’t believe till this day tech reviewers still use benchmarks results to dictate the device? Time and time again just because the results are higher doesn’t mean it is automatically the better machine. Compressing files is only matter for 1% user and most tablets are for doodling, media and gaming not stupid video editing.
I have both. Pros and cons. Ultimately, and I’m not saying anything new here, it really depends what you are going to use it for. The only thing for sure is that the only thing holding android tabs back is the apps. If the apps were the same on both platforms, the discussion would be more interesting.
All videos on comparison or review are stick to note-taking, it seems like all CZcamsrs are Apple's notebook salesmen and selling it to students. Few are covering drawing or video editing too, but how many artists are there! Or some are just talking about specifications like Chip, Speakers, Cable, Ram, Storage or refresh rate, unlocking speed in nano-second difference, thickness, which iPad support which pencil or keyboard, we know them. We need review not specification. No One shares the actual experience working on an iPad or Android tablet. I'm sharing my experience for business/job people: If you are a seller: -If you are a seller on social media then Gallery Management is good in Android as you can easily manage folders. iPad folders are bad. Even selecting multiple items on iPad is time-consuming where you have better in Samsung with touch and drag. -if you copy and paste a lot, then Samsung is better because it has a good clipboard and remembers many copied items together, you can paste them together. -Whatsapp, FB, and Instagram Automatic reply apps save time which are on Android not on iOS. -Whatsapp is not available on the iPad. If you need for general office use: -MS Office: You can't open two files at a time. You will have to close first and then second open. You need to buy MS Office 365 for Rs. 4200 per year. Free is only viewing, not editing. (Both iPad/Android). It can't replace your laptop. -Email experience is almost the same on both of them. -File sharing and file opening is poor on iPad as it doesn't open Zip Files. -if you like using multiple accounts on Whatsapp or Skype, then Samsung offers dual messenger which installs one more same app on the device for the second account. Besides this, Android has Skype lite also which means you can run 3 Skype on one tablet. -importing/exporting from pc to tablet is easier on Android, you can transfer anything. On iPad, you can transfer limited things. -iPad offers automation settings like if this happens then do this, which is nice. -searching in device: Apple does is faster. From Brands: -Apps on the iPad App Store are better than apps on Samsung because many developers make apps for iPad but not for Samsung. -Support: you get more support on iPad from Apple, like software updates with new features but Samsung is slow in it and leaves you after some time. No updates, no new features. -Resale value: both poor. -Repair or Maintenance: Apple is more expensive. -Privacy: I believe privacy is not only about locking the device, but also when you handover your unlocked device to someone, where Samsung wins because it has a secure folder (transfer any app or content there and access there only) as well as a private gallery. -Samsung Dex looks cool but not so good because apps are not customized for this. Samsung own apps and few apps work fine in Dex, so not that effective. -iPad gets connected to Apple devices nicely, even screen sharing, file sharing etc. For you: Samsung: Media, Seller, normal job, Gallary, Privacy from friends/family, General Things, Organizing things, Apple: Student, Artists, Privacy from outside world, Apps, have iPhone & Macbook, Show-off,
For the display. The reason why it was looking better on the iPad is part is because youtube was sending an HDR video to the Samsung. And that display is not really HDR. Making it look worst. Not sure why every manufacture keep slapping HDR10 on whatever regardless of it can actually delivers. Like HDR400, no, that's just too low to look better. Unless they are using OLED to work around they need way higher nits on TFT displays. IPS, VA and in this case LTPS. Maybe some HDR 600 might hold up but 800 and above is the way to go. In addition perhaps trying to change the display settings it came with out the box. Read nature looks more accurate, maybe it also makes the HDR look better. This is on Samsung. Even their 7+, colors will look blown out, people love it. I prefer the accuracy of iPads. And I'm no Apple fan. The best way to test the display would be with multiple local files. The same codec, same video info. HDR on both, even if the display is not to see how it handles it. SDR, 10 -bit and 8-bit, a colorful video and one with lots of blacks or dark areas. As for the speakers, iPad was more balanced. But Tab was louder and clear high. When watching a movie it would have clearer voice. Specially for those movies that tend to have lots of loud action and low voice. You will have to fiddle with the volume less.
You are wrong about the iPad having only the 1080p option in the CZcams app, I don’t know why you don’t have that option, but on my iPad pro 11 inch I have the full 2160p video resolution option, and it looks absolutely stunning!
The tab s7 is a great device for media consumption But when it comes to using apps The ipad blows it out of the water And 'What is on the screen matters more than the screen'
Samsung compensates for the lack of tablet-optimized apps by having DeX mode, which allows free-floating, independently-sized app windows. iPadOS only allows full or half screen. I get my S7+ tomorrow, so it'll be interesting to see how well DeX works. I also have an 11" iPad Pro 2018, an awesome tablet. I plan on using my S7+ for... media consumption. LOL. The only thing that makes me hesitate is the new spatial audio feature on the AirPods Pro. Watching a movie may look better on an OLED screen with the S7+, but the audio will be way better on the iPad. Now I'm torn. With CZcams, it'll be much better on the S7+ with higher resolutions and PIP, and spatial audio won't matter. I'm ticked 4K still won't work on iOS/iPadOS, nor does PIP.
@@meetchoudhary1 Have to agree with you. I want my tablet to be a tablet and my laptop to be a laptop. I tried the Surface Pro 6, for example. It tried to be both and failed at both, making too many compromises. I haven't tried DeX, but I think I'll give it a try.
Hey guys, love your comparisons videos. I have the Tab S7 with that LCD display and I can actually say that It's really really good. I compared It on my channel to my Tab S5e which has an awesome OLED and I think the LCD on the S7 is just as good or even better in some aspects. What I noticed is that HDR videos play really dim on the S7, I think that might be caused by some bug on the CZcams App. What happens is that when you play non HDR videos the S7 gets really nice and bright, probably very close to the iPad. As you can se at 9:40 the difference is not that huge. That's why I compared to my S5e with regular videos and images. Still is kind of a bummer but at least It's not an issue with the Display Itself.
@@GamerLife-hv5kx For me its a solid a kind of downgrade screen from s6 but you know its better in other aspects and also the 120 hz i recommend ios users for ipad and android users for tab s7

The only thing that Samsung does a lot better than apple is their display technology, and they decided to put an lcd on their flagship s7... Now iPad pro just beat s7 in almost everything....just add another $100 and give us the AMOLED 😡
These tests always reinforce something I've already decided a long time ago, I always like Samsung Devices a little more but overall Apple is still the best but, just because if you wanna sell it later you can actually get more money for it.

My experience using both. The tab s7 has a very nice writing experience with Samsung notes and one note. When exporting files as pdf it becomes an issue. I constantly have to rename files exporting from samsung notes and after 6 months is now a nuisance. One note will not export files that are too large which requires me to use my computer. I was never able to find a great application for notes that would automatically sync to google drive which is where I keep all my school notes and it is astonishing to me considering it is built on a Google operating system. The iPad works extremely well. Notability syncs automatically to my Google drive which makes my life easier and I have not had to rename a file since making the switch. If you want a nice writing experience with a stylus the apple pen is probably best since it doesn't have a physical button you can accidentally press. The spen is very "functional" with the Bluetooth controls but I personally have never used any gestures, the physical button does allow for switching favorite pens on samsung notes and pulling up the spen menu for screenshots which is nice. For watching CZcams and Netflix it is nice having a small window that pops up on the bottom on the tab s7 when you leave the app. I don't know if it is possible on an iPad. For reading documents I think they are both equal. Apps are obviously terrible on the tab s7. It is definitely the less expensive option but you lose lots of functionality in apps and ultimately I could not see the justification in price with apps that crash often. I use a note 10+ as my phone and a Dell xps 7590 as my PC.
@@borngymrat Honestly, the S7 seems to be a match for the iPad pro on just about every point. But it does depend on apps - if you need apps that are available on iOS and not Android then stick with the iPad. For me, the apps I need are on both so I was good to go... Your mileage may vary on that one.
007 nah switching from iPad Air to Tab S7. Don’t need iPad Pro power and neither do most people. iPad Air is good but no stereo speakers and no included pen are deal breakers for me. I’ll still have my iPad Air 3 for any apps Apple only. Xbox Cloud gaming here I come baby!!!
Charles Davis you actually do need the power in the long run. That Samsung is only lasting 3 years max with software updates and that’s if Samsung’s supports it. I keep all my electronics so software support is huge for me.
If only we could use that extra processing power for retro emulation. I have ripped all my older games to play at higher resolution on one device, but Apple refuses to let emulators on the App Store. Sigh.
Yeah, it's a shame the A14 is such a small improvement over the A13, but it will likely still be around the same level as the snapdragon 875, considering how much better the A13 is than the snapdragon 865+ in single-core performance.
If you see the price of ipad 8 + keyboard case + stylus is almost the same as galaxy tab 7s (stylus included) + keyboard case, then it would be a fairer comparison.
Max I like very much the moment when you show the Bulgarian nature on these tablets for display comparison, bravo!!! Indeed our nature is very beautiful.
Vadim, thank you for the detailed comparison. I am confused as to why Samsung would go back to LCD tech to try and compete with Apple. Their OLED tech is amazing and with their Galaxy Note 20, they have variable refresh rates and OLED technology.
Why do you compare iPad Pro with Tab 7?! Are you nuts? iPad Pro is twice more expensive. Compare devices in the same price range. Is it that difficult to comprehend? You should have compared Samsung Tab 7 with iPad 8 (2020).
iPad Pro has better everything except speakers but i use AirPods Pro so I don’t really mind. I have s7 and iPad Pro and iPad Pro is better i sold my s7
** Want a suggestion : Choose one Ipad 7th gen 128gb or Ipad 8th gen 32gb . Will be using : * lightroom *illustrator * premier pro (often) * pubg * word ,powerpoint , excel * note taking etc
I can't decide between the two. Screen aspect ratio is important for me. I need a tablet for reading and productivity, ipad seems to be more suitable for viewing pdf files. On the other hand, tab s7 is much more affordable.
Neither. I decided that I don’t want an ips screen. I have a standard iPad, it does the job. At one point I’ll get a led screen tablet. PS: we already had an ipad that I only recently started using for meetings where I need a pencil. It does the job, no complaints there. I like the pencil, its really useful. BUT, using the iPad made me realise, I dont like IPS screens. Even my little android phone with led screen is easier on my eyes. Both S7 and iPad pro 2020 had ips screens. Also, i dont like the fact that I cant effortlessly transfer my meeting files to/from the ipad. iCloud is waste of space. it doesnt let me remotely access my files from a new log in, if I dont have the ipad with me to approve log ins. thats really annoying.
Thank you for this video. It was a big help. Gonna miss the display on the iPad pro but Samsung a7 for me. It offers me better options as a teacher. Question though, can the tab s7 allow me to use a phone chip so that I can use data on the go?

Using the Tab S7+ to type this comment. I love the AMOLED screen, speakers, and expandable storage on the Tab S7+. That being said, the iPads ARM chip is a monster and the optimization of their OS is great. If these two could have a baby, man.
Mr. Dragon yea agreed both tablets have upsides
Also, no back-lit keyboard on the Tab S7 is total bullshit, lol.
This review is definitely biased because you claim they ditched the AMOLED whilst the 120hz AMOLED is on the S7+ .

Apple copies android, & Android copies Apple
Apple was always the winner in performance and design every other companies just followed through they are the most powerful tablets ever made. Nothing compares to an iPad Pro. Samsung will never beat Apple because it always seems to copy in different ways not necessarily “better” smh everything in here was copied from Apple : Face ID, the concept of pencil , lcd display , “work across other devices”? The iPad is more for users who like to have a manufacturer dictate how they can use their device and the Samsung tablet is more for creative people who use their device the way they want it
I still can’t believe till this day tech reviewers still use benchmarks results to dictate the device? Time and time again just because the results are higher doesn’t mean it is automatically the better machine. Compressing files is only matter for 1% user and most tablets are for doodling, media and gaming not stupid video editing.
Benchmarks are important for performance test are you dumb? What do you think runs those gaming, doodling and entertainment, the screen?
I have both. Pros and cons. Ultimately, and I’m not saying anything new here, it really depends what you are going to use it for. The only thing for sure is that the only thing holding android tabs back is the apps. If the apps were the same on both platforms, the discussion would be more interesting.
The higher the Brightness the quicker you will damage your eyes.
@Seldi Makaj I don't hate apple, In fact im using an iPhone 11 right now
All videos on comparison or review are stick to note-taking, it seems like all CZcamsrs are Apple's notebook salesmen and selling it to students.
I'm sharing my experience for business/job people:
If you are a seller:
-If you are a seller on social media then Gallery Management is good in Android as you can easily manage folders. iPad folders are bad.
If you need for general office use:
-MS Office: You can't open two files at a time.
From Brands:
-Apps on the iPad App Store are better than apps on Samsung because many developers make apps for iPad but not for Samsung.
For you:
Samsung: Media, Seller, normal job, Gallary, Privacy from friends/family, General Things, Organizing things,
Apple: Student, Artists, Privacy from outside world, Apps, have iPhone & Macbook, Show-off,
For the display.
The tab s7 is a great device for media consumption
But when it comes to using apps The ipad blows it out of the water
And
'What is on the screen matters more than the screen'

That's why I compared to my S5e with regular videos and images. sir, please tell me. 👍👍👍👍👍
I did see Marques Brownlee unlock the Tab S7 on the screen when landscape. Overall great vid

I can't decide between the two. Screen aspect ratio is important for me. I need a tablet for reading and productivity, ipad seems to be more suitable for viewing pdf files. On the other hand, tab s7 is much more affordable.
What did you end up choosing?
