I changed from the ipad pro to the s9 ultra and damn. Numbers are nice but in real life the s9 ultra feels so much nicer! And i got upgraded storage for free xD ✌️👌

Well, I tried the Tab S8 Ultra, but the aspect ration (even though super nice for Videos), for other content I prefer the iPad. Also iPadOS is still way better then android.
But as always: depended on who you ask :)

@ryanfraley7113 I mean we can hook up more USB devices without the need for 3rd party software. As well as run split screen with adjustable sliders. You can also use dex on any wifi enabled TV or laptop without the need for an internet connection or a dongle. You also get the suite of air commands on the included s pen. And all this can be done at once.

I have both S9 ultra and 12.9 ipad pro m2. The sound on the Samsung is better for me. I also find the S9 ultra just more fun to use. I use iphone, ipad and apple watch ultra - so I obviously like Apple - but I have to give the tablet points to Samsung this time. ipad pro is fantastic but S9 Ultra is just over the top great!

Have an iPad Pro M1 but I just bought a S9 ultra and a Galaxy fold 5. The s9 is a consumption KING plus Dex helps make work flow a breeze, especially with screen formats. Speakers better imo. I do miss the floating Apple keyboard. That things always been a beast.
switched from my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 to the S9 Ultra (from which i write this on the book cover with the touchpad) and the only drawback/ thing i really miss is the 'sturdiness' of the magic keyboard which made it a blast to watch content while placing the ipad on my belly while laying in bed 😂

@mosijahi3096 bought a Garmin watch for training. From there it was easier... Was going to go AW Ultra and 15 Pro Max, but wanted a change plus ive been there before. Like the Fold 5. TBH its a tough choice and will go back to APPLE in a couple years. More so for intergration with the Vision Pro. That in my opinion its going to be rare like hens teeth and alnost impossible to get for a while
I actually disagree with the "app optimization" argument. Especially if you are in Dex. Most apps work much better with resizeable windows, but in regular tablet mode, you still have the option to resize apps that are not optimized for bigger screens. This versatility in my opinion gives users way more flexibility on how they wanna view an app and how it fits on the tablet for better optimization.
App optimization is the argument apple fanboys bring every time. Actually if you open instagram on ipad, it only shows in mobile dimension and other areas are blacked out. I have never seen a reviewer point it out..they only say samsung side is best if samsung smokes apple in that area, because they can't hide these facts

Nice review I currently have an iPad Pro but I ordered the s9 because the multitasking is just on another level and the flexibility you get with android for side loading and emulators also expandable storage and the file manager system, and I think now that android has Lumafusion is just great. I don’t like how apple iPads are extremely lockdown and there is just so many small things that makes the experience feels like a bloated iPhone. Not to mention office seems to give you a better experience on android pretty close to the PC experience, Just my opinion every persons use case is different.
I find the iPad too limiting for my use. No Dex, poor file management, and lack of customization.
@@mevlutcelik7507it is not realistic for you to expect that a brand new tablet, phone, laptop, desktop etc on the market in 2023 would not slow down in 10 years. There's simply no such product on the market. Softwares and apps are getting more and more complex everyday and 10 years is enough time for limitations of old hardware against (by then) current software complexity to kick in. 5 years should be your best bet and both the ipad and tab s9 will be fine for that.
@@ljacobs357 and side loading is a must for me I can’t squeeze all the power I want with emulators, or install apps out of the AppStore and the workaround is made intentionally difficult. Plus next year they’ll probably add M3 exclusive features like “battery health or some small stuff” to try and force you to buy another iPad Apple is too shady. You can even format external hdd on android which is incredible. I feel like the iPad is a demo mode of the iPhone and the macs if you want certain features buy an iPhone or buy a Mac.

I was all set to buy an M2 iPad Pro. Apple screwed up my trade in, which delayed my purchase. But I am sort of happy that it happened. The Tab S9 Ultra is the first Android based tablet that I am considering purchasing. The screen, the Dex mode, the multi-tasking.
I totally agree. I've been using the ipad pro for years and I finally took a risk and bought the Tab S9 Ultra. I have been comparing both trying to find a reason to stay with apple, but I can't at all. Dex actually makes the tab s9 much more of a laptop replacement. Go for it!

Cinema thing happened to me years ago with the iPhone so the next day it made me look at my first Android phone and I never looked back.
Have been dealing with the iPad just like the iPhone since 2007 and 2010. I have had all generations and never had an Android tablet. Last year with the S8 ultra, I was the first time I considered a Android tablet. With Samsung promotion to trade in an iPad pro, I did it. I fought the iPad for so many years trying to make that thing usable where I would not have to take a computer with me. The Samsung tab az-89 or the very best for someone who is truly doing more than watching videos. Outside of Microsoft surface devices, this is the best tablet that you can get a computer experience on

Each of them has their pros and cons. Samsung does allow you to do a little bit more with their gadgets, while Apple is not. But, everyone has their own preferences ! Thank you for making this video comparison between the 2 of them !

Do you think it's efficient to code in Samsung dex mode? I have a good laptop but it lacks a lot in battery and I was planning to buy a new laptop for my studies. But it seems like this one would do the trick, right? Please help me with this one. Also the gap between gpu performance is worrying.
You should do a comparison of how the most common apps for each. Samsung has optimized quite a few apps over the last year. I don't use any that are stuck in a partial screen format (mobile version) like I have on the iPad.
2 things are imp for me: Spen included in box and notes app (built in) is top notch
Samsung Notes is by far leaps and bounds ahead of what Apple has to offer natively !
Man I wish we could have a mix of both. The screen, battery and features of the Samsung with the performance and apps of the iPad.
Real world performance is equal for basically all tasks. Apps, now that's a different story.

Performance is more or less the same out of my experience with ipad pro and my tab s9 ultra. The difference is only noticable if you do heavy tasks like editing. Screen is so much better on the s9. I never looked back

I feel like it was really a toss up, the Samsung is louder with more clarity in the high end but the iPad did have more clarity in the mid/low end. I will only use my tablet with my Bose bt speaker, earbuds or headphones so it doesn't matter to me. IDK why anyone would drop 1400 on a tablet and not buy earbuds or headphones to go with it.
I would be keen to see how well each tablet maintains its performance under a sustained load. On benchmarks that run for a short while, I don’t think is a fair test. On paper the M2 is a lot faster, but knowing that it throttles quite a fair bit even in a thicker MacBook Air, I don’t believe it can sustain its performance in a thinner iPad. I know the M1 in the iPad Pro 12.9 will throttle, and likely even more so with the M2.
If I’m looking for a tablet to just do streaming, notes and browsing the web which would you recommend? I have an iPhone but have no interest in having the ecosystem between the two devices. I currently have iPad with a separate apple Id anyways

Great comparison. But note that the benchmarking apps are totally different on different OS, using different API so they are not comparable. The only way to compare the performance on both, is by using the same applications on both and see how they perform in terms of responsiveness, loading speeds and battery usage ! They are both great powerhouses and each one is the best on his world !

For specific use like photo or video editing I would choose the iPad Pro over the S9 Ultra. But I would more likely get a 13" MacBook Air and trade the touch screen and rear camera for a real file system, an extra USB port and a properly placed front camera.

I use my tab for media consumption, so it’s the better choice because the display is just so much better. You mentioned the ecosystem, and as someone who prefers android I have settled with an iPhone for my main device, I need messages, FaceTime, really important for family and friends. I did have an iPad Air but when I I got the tab I had no reason to stick iPad tablets as I use it as an entertainment system

Shows how obsessed Max Tech is with Apple. Also, battery life, he said 6.5 hours for S9 Ultra & 8 for iPad which isn't true.
My S9 Ultra gives easily 30-40 mins extra on continuous usage to my iPad Pro 12.9 M2.
And if we use the juice for a longer time, may be like an hour or so a day then S9 Ultra is even more efficient due to low standby drainage which iPad is bad at.

Samsung (Not the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra but the regular sized Galaxy Tab S9 12GB RAM model) is better because of the AMOLED screen, has an microSD card slot, has a pen included in the box and it's $528 cheaper than the iPad Pro 11" with the desired storage capacity I wanted plus an Apple Pencil in my country.
This is coming from an iPhone user and having a mix of both Android and iOS/iPadOS devices is not a problem for me.
I know the video is a few months old, but I wanted to quickly chime in. First, thanks for the comparison video; it was great; I am sure some people are looking for such a comparison. I know this channel is Apple leaning, but in the end, you chose the S9 Ultra, although with some hesitation. With this said...
I currently have the iPad 12.9 M2, and I love it. I haven't a single complaint because of how I use it: streaming content, email, browsing, and watching Flickr pictures. And when I am on the road or in the car waiting for my wife to finish shopping, it is the perfect media consumption. I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra as my primary desktop (an overkill for me, but I got an open box for under $2K a couple months ago) for my demanding photography needs.
Now, I have a Samsung S22 Ultra and soon-to-be S24 Ultra, and I have been a Samsung/Andriod for as long as I can remember when it comes to phones; that will never change. So, what do my comments have to do with the Samsung S9 Ultra? I wasn't looking to replace my iPad, but Samsung presented me with a too-good-of deal to pass up. In short, I got the S9 Ultra 256 Wifi for only $339. How? They gave me a $600 trade-in credit for my S7 FE (which I got from Bestbuy today for only $150 OB), another $185 off from promotional and educational discounts, and a $75 promotional code they, surprisingly, gave me (because of pre-order issues with my S24 Ultra ).
I haven't received my S9 Ultra yet, which is due toward the end of February, but I have played with it at Best Buy extensively, and it seems like it will exceed my iPad for my purposes (mentioned above). The screen is gorgeous, and the build quality is as good as my iPad. While I understand the iPad's CPU/GPU may be better, I have never taken advantage of it, though I know some will. I am not wedded to any ecosystem, and both Apple IOS/iPad OS and Samsung/Andriod One UI have pros and cons; it comes down to the person's needs/requirements.
I wasn't in the market for a new tablet, but with the deal I got for a new Samsung S9 Ultra, it is hard to pass up. One thing about the iPad is the resale value; they hold pretty well. (which doesn't matter if one plans to keep it for a couple of years). I am still determining which one I will keep, but judging by the time I spent with the S9 Ultra in Best Buy, it may be the iPad (and I love my iPad). You can't go wrong with either tablet. Just my two cents.

I use my iPad for drawing with Apps like Procreate quite a bit… My iPad is a 2018 pro and I can do layered artwork up to 30 x 30” output size at 300dpi in Procreate, which is nuts for a tablet. I also occasionally make and edit videos, draft documents and use the entire Affinity suite of graphic design Apps and my 5 year old iPad doesn’t break a sweat. I would be interested to see if the Samsung can keep up… but I would definitely choose the Samsung over a Surface Pro any day of the week.
Fun fact: your iPad will easily last another 2-3 years (major software updates).
Samsung has a better digitizer from what I understand, they get the newest Wacom systems and their pens are usually more well received (smooth and even grip, not slick like glass) and has air commands. Those are just add ones though, and the iPad drawing experience is just as precise and effective. But Samsung/android doesn't have any video editing software so you basically have to stay with apple, which is a shame cause imo the tablet space needs more competition. Apple is dominating hard core.
Actually android has Lightroom but I'm not an editor so IDK how the suites compare

It would be nice to have a larger iPad, but it gets to a point where it’s just not comfortably portable. A 13” lighter iPad and keyboard combo would be my preference with the latest iPhone cameras. Can always connect to a monitor which really makes a difference.

4:3 is better to: read, edit multimedia (video + bars with the controls, time-line, etc), office, web, draw
Panoramic is better to: eventually play games, watch movies or desktop-like use.
I have my Tab S6 Lite for most things but my Boox Ultra (eink, 4:3) to draw, notes and read books.
@@_Mario_PL_ Boxier aspect ratios are better for productivity, web browsing and content creation........Wider ratios are only better for content consumption, games and videos/movies etc.....simply because most of them are made with that format in mind.
I prefer the sound on the Tab S9 Ultra because, and you rightly point this out, the sound is brighter on the Galaxy (high tones/treble). Just my preference. Good review, thanks.

My issue with the iPad is that there is no use for all the extra cpu and gpu power for me. That will be different per user need. With a tablet, the screen is my most needed spec and having both the m2 iPad and the tab s9 ultra, I only use my tab now. For example, just got back from vacation. I needed a tablet for media consumption (Netflix, CZcams etc) and a screen for game streaming for Xbox game pass. The S9 ultra is flat out better in every way for these activities. Honestly, I know the iPad is stronger cpu and gpu wise, but I can’t find use for that power. I don’t game on my tablet outside of streaming games, so the extra gpu doesn’t really matter.
The iPad Pro is for professionals. You shouldn't be getting it for purely media consumption. That GPU helps enormously for video editing, 3D modeling etc. Android simply doesn't have the software for these. Apps just aren't optimised.
Same here! Havent used the ipad ever again since I got the s9 ultra. Its simply nicer to look at if you dont do editing or power tasks
@@saln1296 Yeah, I have disposable income so I buy mine just for fun. I agree with what you're saying but it's not just professionals buying iPad pros. Of the 7 people I know personally who have them, only one uses his for anything professional 😂 and it's drawing which he could do on the non pro. Even the responses on this video are people talking about playing games on their pros. If only professionals bought them for work/business, sales would drop.
@@saln1296 professionals what? I use my ipad pro 98% for youtube, 1% for browsing, and I don’t even know where the other 1% went. And that’s it. I just bought the s9 tab last week because of it’s smaller screen. And same thing that 98% is youtube and 2% is for gaming. Some people just wanted a device that can keep up with their pace.

As far as Photoshop/Photo Editing goes, one of the GREATEST features of my Tab S8 Ultra that no one talks about is the 'Second Screen' feature. SuperDisplay a $10 app works really great. The Tab S8 Ultra has basically replaced my Wacom Cintiq as my main Photoshop editing device. It's higher resolution, wireless, lighter, portable, and the S-Pen might be even better... Samsung's built-in 'Second Screen' works OK, but it used to work much better than it does now, I don't know what happened, but hopefully they will update it to work as good as SuperDisplay does. Plus, your files stay resident on your workstation and you don't have to copy files back and forth.
I find that SuperDisplay works exactly the same wired or over WiFi. If there's a difference, I don't see any. As I mentioned, it's SO much better than Samsung's Second Screen. It's pretty crazy to me that Samsung definitely knows how much of a superior product SuperDisplay is and they could easily license the technology (like they do Wacom's EMR) or even purchase the company without even batting an eye, instead they ship a vastly inferior piece of software...
Plus, the device is awesome all on its own... Literally blown away by how great it is!
The S-Pen is fantastic and FREE in the box. You don't need to add a paper-like screen protector ($40) in addition to the $130 you'll pay extra for the Apple Pencil...
I'm a 30+ year Professional Graphic Artist. When some say that there aren't Professional Visual Arts apps on android it's just really incorrect, because I use them everyday. Autodesk Sketchbook, Infinite Painter, Concepts, Krita are just a few of the apps available on the Google Play store... There are many more... Are there a few apps available on iPad that aren't on the Play store? Yes, of course, but a good carpenter never blames his tools, and with expertise and talent you can do anything and everything on android apps that you can do on iOS apps - NO DOUBT.
If you're already entrenched in the Apple 'eco-system'... Then pay the extra $500 to $1500...

If you're an artist the S-Pen uses emr tech so you can use any other full size emr compatible pens.
I love the 16:10 ratio with 14.6 inches great watching movies, Dex mode is the best made me get older Samsung s7+ great for multi tasking on tablet, 12GB RAM is lots, Storage 256 GB plus 1TB SD For Data Prefect. not apple person but they do got nice m2 chip for power and less battery use. Tab S9 Ultra on it's way
Samsung hands down. IPad is now just status symbol. You can do more work on the tab s9 ultra. Better management of files and can read from USB devices without third party apps. USB devices such as mice and keyboard works better and you can use USB hubs. Plays well with windows. Can mirror to any screen without the need for special adapters. Presentation mode cam be ran via the included s pen. Samsung book case is more portable and less intrusive to use. No need to have the keyboard attached at all times, plus it's a thinner profile.

Does the samsung have the same problem with the app’s not being adapted properly to when you use the tablet as a laptop like the M2 IPad Pro 2022 🧐?
To an even greater degree unfortunately. The native app experience is great, and watching media or using it as a notebook are also great, but things deteriorate REALLY QUICKLY once you use pretty much anything 3rd party.
You can use dex mode which is basically like windows. You have floating windows, resizeable windows etc.

It is a simple as this;
- all-rounder, specially as a desktop substitute for office, web browser, NAS/Network or multi window: every tablet with the Samsung DeX;
Multimedia editing, games: iPad Pro
The thing is, the iPad is still a tablet; the Tab (even my Tab S6 Lite) is a hybrid between an android tablet and a PC. You can do MUCH more with a Tab than with an apple, but it depends what you want: if I has to edit multimedia, the apps and chip acceleration are much better on apple.
The extra speed from the M2 is nonsense because Apple won't change to an hybrid OS, so it is lost. Even the M1 is already "too" powerful...
The major issue with the iPad is iOS, I had the 3rd gen iPad Pro and used it for years with Lightroom for editing. The editing part is fine. Whats not fine is that background syncing does not exist on iOS. You have to have Lightroom open and at the front (no switching to another app) with with the screen always on. With android it will just sync with the screen off or watching youtube etc. Major reason why Im ditching the ipad pro for an android tablet. The iPad Pro is just awful for a portable workflow ironically.
Consider the splash screen video demo on the iPad Pros in store also specifically shows off Lightroom... its just bad.
I wish all those amazing creative apps would come to Android. I just picked up an iPad Pro 12.9 because of needing these design apps for on the go usage.
On my S8 Ultra, I have Krita and Clip Studio. Wheres Affinity Design? Heck, I'd even take a gimped Illustrator.

The ecosystem is what really keeps me with the Ipad. The handoff feature really makes the relationship between ipad and Mac a cohesive relationship. You can drag and drop files and use the ipad as a second display. I even have the Ipad magic keyboard than can work for both the Mac and ipad at the same time.
You can do all of that on Samsung as well

Samsung's ecosystem is much better for me because it plays nice with non-samsung products because Android.

Great comparison. For regular users benchmarks aren't that important as these tablets are used for regular tasks. Processors might be fast in the iPad but for day to day use it's not that significant as a millisecond difference is minimal.

Ok I don't have either tablet, but when mentioning Samsung Dex, I remembered that the iPad has support for floating windows as well? Perhaps Dex still supports superior multitasking, but why was stage manager not mentioned 😓

As someone who uses Dex, Mac and Windows, you really can't call stage manager multitasking
Tbh stage manager is still very useful but lacks in some regards where dex nearly copies a desktop experience

Tab S9 Ultra due to its brighter, AMOLED 2X display, but also the extra display size and aspect ratio makes it a better watching experience for both video and streaming.
For mostly pure content consumption, the Tab S9 will be better like the person above said. Its aspect ratio is better designed for it. Content wise, the only thing that would be a tie is gaming. The Samsung still has the better gaming aspect ratio while the iPad Pro has the more powerful hardware for better graphics and framerates.
If you take emulators into account though, the Tab S9 gets an edge on gaming.
Overall, the Samsung is better for entertainment, while the iPad is better for work due to the much larger amount of dedicated applications for it. Neither is bad for any task though. Regardless of which of these beasts you purchase, you're getting the best of the best tablets.
If you intend for a more laptop type experience, the Surface Pro 9 will be better than both.
If you want a big screen and better multitasking the Samsung. If you want one that lasts longer better battery life and better performance go for the iPad.

I traded in my 2020 IPAD Pro for the Galaxy Tab S9+, with my extra 15% discount I got the 512gb model for $542. Everything I did on my Ipad I am able to do on my S9+ and more. Dex is the unsung hero of this device. Watching videos is much better than than the Ipad due to the aspect ratio.
Since my phone is a S23U, Quick Share ( Samsungs answer to Airdrop) works flawlessly, is extremely fast, Google Messages is synced with my phone, I can even take my calls on it. Google Photos app is 100 times better than what Apple has to offer without having to pay for a subscription based service.
Samsung Notes is better Apple's, Spen has more fuctions than Apple Pencil, it can be used as a remote control for certain apps.
I still have my Ipad mini when I do Facetime with the stubborn Apple friends that refuse to download Google Meet or refuse to interact with green bubbles. ( so stupid )
I got a pixel so I have free Google 1 with my s22u, I love Google's gallery app.

Man that single core performance are really close and keep in mind that an SD 8 Gen 2 is a smartphone chip which means it have lot less transistors to start with.
iPad has clarity of sound and Samsung is louder but in Samsung it can be tuned into Dolby Atmos menu there is no difference in mic quality
I have both so the best of both worlds the only thing holding back the IPAD PRO is the software for me. IPAD OS just feels very limited. It has improved a lot with stage manager but it just needs more functionality from a multitasking stand point as well as a better file system.
Which would recommend if you could only get one?

I have an iPad Pro 11 2018 model. I like it much but the other day I’ve tried to use my external ssd or stick and iPad os was very stubborn to read directly videos and pictures from it. Only VLC had directly access to the ssd but it was still pain in the ass to find it. It’s time to move on to Samsung for tablet. Definitely m2 chip is a monster of performance but in real world you wouldn’t notice the difference. As about apps ok AppStore has some very good apps but the most of apps are trash.

I've had a samsung tablet and a few ipads and if you just want to stream movies/tv shows the samsung is kinda hard to beat. Especially with the new waterproofing. I use my ipad for more than just streaming however and have way too many apple products so not quite ready to give up the ecosystem benefits or the overall better feel from a user perspective. Hard to beat the responsiveness and speed of the iPad.
Is the youtube app now comparable or still a few years behind ios?

I love my nexdock360, I just wish dex did portrait mode and nexdock (or samsung, come on!) made a tablet version with a place to physically dock your phone. It would beat both of these.
Was the speaker test performed with dolby atmos enabled? Def makes a difference to me. I had both. Sold my iPad 12.9 inch. I love the versatility of the tab s9u. I am not tied to any eco system. They can coexist and I use one drive and Google photos and drive so I can access anything from anything. I also have an s23 ultra and 14pm. Not biased I like what I like and will give my honest opinion.
Also in your video while the ipad has the m2 and its "more powerful" since you are talking about real world use. Outside of a few ipad only apps its no real difference. Ipad os severly limits what that m1 or m1 can do. Stage manager is still janky and doesnt even compare to samsung dex which you failed to mention which makes the tablet much more user friendly when multitasking. You missed a big point when trying to say who makes something better. Its more of matter of preference and who these large tablets are geared for.

If that is the case, what the video shows is the lack of consistency in performance in Android. These differences do not occur on iPad between apps.
I find the iPads shape and size work better for me. It fees more like a large sketchbook rather than a laptop screen and can be handled easier. The size of the Samsung reaches a point of wanting it to be a laptop instead a tablet. There is a point where the size becomes detrimental

I like the S9 Ultra more because it's aspect ratio is better suited for video and that's what I use it for most.
I also use it as second screen for my 14" laptop, which makes them fit together in my bag perfectly. Since i'm already carrying a laptop that size, I don't gain much from a smaller tablet. So the size isn't detrimental to me.
I can see why it'd bother someone not in that situation, though. It do be a chonker.

As I see it, if you're planning to keep the tablet for the longest time possible, The iPad is the way to go, but to be honest, if you're not using apple only apps Samsung is a great choice. That screen is amazing!! If iPad os wasn't too limited it could really take all the advantages of having that M2 like a better file app and all the multitasking features

I liked my ipad pro! No complaints.. i just received the s9 ultra. I LOVE IT, thinking about converting all of my gear to android. So smooth, and i can literally use it as my computer. Ios is amazing yes, but it just feels very limited
One thing to note is that when we compare the S9's camera and the iPad's camera, the iPad looks more natural while Samsung looks a bit more vivid and sharp.
Which makes the s9 better lol

Both Ipad Pro and Tab S9 have pros and cons.
Apple products contains lots of horse power but they lack multitasking function a bit.
My two younger sister use Iphone and Ipad ( Ipad pro4 and Air5) but i still stay with Samsung products since Touchwiz era until now (One UI).
Android just suit my style in terms of multitasking, playing games via emulator, doing document works and etc ( I use S21U , Tab S8 , A05S -- new budget phone).
This is only my opinion. Just select what suit you the most.
But in my community, they believe that Apple products are not the device but they are gadgets to separate the class of people.

I have both. In general Samsungs hardware is impressive (shame about how many people find it's fingerprint sensor untrainaɓle and its mediocre face ID) and both have strengths and weaknesses I like the S9 Ultra for media consumption. When it comes down to breadth and quality of apps for an amazing number of specialtyy areas there's no comparison, the iPad ecosystem is much richer.
I don't disagree, that is why I will never buy an apple product, there ecosystem is much richer because they monopolize it. And while I can't say Samsung hasn't done similar things, apple has cornered the market on its ecosystem and made sure anything non apple won't work with it. I honestly can't say they put out bad products, quite the opposite honestly, but the business aspect of it and them being essentially a monopoly kinda made me stay away.

The S Pen is not just a stylus. There's so many functions for that thing. So many that you can do a whole video teaching how to use it. The keyboard? Meh, you can get a cheaper option off Amazon as Dex works with anything. Again, you can do a whole video on using it. Maybe even a series. And benchmarks? Meh, I'm still using an S7 plus and it's still working like a dream and I use it like a workhorse. So idk how important benchmarks are. Worth that said I plan on upgrading to the S9U after the holidays as there should be a price drop. Nice vid. Cheers.

I have ipad from 2013 and it still runs perfectly apps that can run and it is something what apple offers compared to android environment in which after one or two years system will slow down and apps will become too slow. Samsung tab that i had two years ago i have sold just because system was slow and screen less responsive. Now i am using ipad 10th gen and from my previous experience i know it will last for very long time. Samsung i like many features but i think for what i would like to use that size of tablet it cant be supported ie solid works or photo shop. For that i still need regular laptop that runs on windows system. I appreciate ur comparison it is realistic.
I think with Samsung tablets you want to buy it with maybe 2 to 3 years in mind and trade in for a better one. Thing is RAM will be a big issue after a few years because apps and operating systems after updates utilize more so that's important. I'm think RAM was your issue. I have an old ipad my sister gave me that's a paper weight. Its hardware is too old to accept any updates from apple. So even Ipads have a shelf life, but their shelf life takes allot longer to hit so thats a plus.
