I have all of his videos, they have helped me immensely, I went from not doing any art for 20 years to being re-inspired by the work of Mix Lang. Never painted before but with diligence & good instruction (mostly from him) I have sold 7seven of my paintings, & Im learning more every day. Thank you, Mr. Lang for helping us amateurs

I just attempted this from the video- and it came out so so beautifully. After the medium dried it looked so much better! It reminds me of outer space. I want to paint a whale into this background and add a few more layers (make it my own). I will look into buying or renting your videos. You are such an inspiring artist. Thank you for your generosity and service for making this world a more artistic and better place.

Watched this about fifteen times over the last six months. Everytime I watch this particular piece being done I notice you do the divide in a blend then define. Giving clarity where it was once lost. It seems definition of character is the remains of the day and is the deciding factor. Where we end up is surely the deciding factor of what we did yesterday. Love your work Sir.

Absolutely stunning and I’m glad to see you painting with both hands, glad to see I’m not the only one that does that. I always thought I was a little weird painting with both hands because nobody else does that. I’m not as good but maybe one day. And to think my art teacher told me to stop doing that.

Dear Mr Lang. Your work is very much inspiring ! I was searching for a radical change in my artwork (fantastic realism) in order to gain a different approach to colors, volumes and expression, so to develop the new procedure and integrate it further in to my style. you gave me the push I needed. I hope to achieve a new orientation based on your beautiful technique working more on the inspirative side without loosing the long term preparation (weeks) to get a complete and detailed artwork. Your art shall give me the texture and mood to fix the final concept in a new and harmonious environment. Thanks for your videos and again my best acknowledgment to your art. (Bock form Venezuela.)

do you use oil or acrylic, if not oil do you use any particular medium for your washing/blending? or just water...

Mr. Lang this is my first time watching your video I am amazed by your skills. I want to know if you are using Golden soft body, fluid or heavy body. What size and brand of brushes are you using? It looks like a filber larger than a number 10 and a flat I was wondering is the bristles of the brush are extra firm. I am going to try to create this master piece! I subscribed to your channel can't wait to see what you create next.
Hi, Glad you like! I really don't use Golden paints very often. The brushes are basic mural brushes #30, #40, #50. with nylon and natural bristles.

Always like watching your demonstrations! I'd like to know what shade of green that was you used. I really liked it and not sure it was the standard green.
Hi Michelle, Its called Phthalo green, you will love it. If you use it as a wash over Cerulean blue you get the most beautiful turquoise you have ever seen. Try it you'll want to use it all the time!
I'm going to have to give it a try. I have not used that color much. It always seemed so dark to me, but, I guess using it as a glaze may make it lighter. I'll be giving it a try. Thanks for the tip about using it with Cerulean Blue. Can't wait to give it a try. I really liked the look of it in this painting. It's beautiful. As always, its a delight to watch your demo's. I'm going to have to pick up your latest DVD. I think you have one more new one that I have not purchased yet.

Hi Alan, there all an acrylic polymer, one might be thicker or thinner than the other but basically the same, shouldnt affect the blend!

Dear Michael, I have been in awe of your talent and style - it is absoultly amazing to see you create. I am new to painting and so inspired by your work. I recently purchased your video "Summers Rain". May I ask what type of medium you use? My big question is, somehow about 3/4 of the way through it I lost my focal point and everything became one dimensional :-/ it started out so well. Can I begin again painting ontop of this pretty drab painting or should I start out fresh. It seems a waste when such beautiful colors are present. Thank you so much for your response.

frederic dumont looks like it may be Windsor and Newton Galeria acrylics. I know those have golden lids.
