Why does the bride have to pay extra to have the buttons fixed? It's not her fault. It's the seamstress' fault the buttons were missing one hoop. The corrections should have been made free of charge.
Falalongkornz it was free....
000snow000
6:16 the girl's entourage talked about how they were concerned it would cost a lot of money to have the buttons fixed. It it were free, then there wouldnt have been any point in them being concerned over it in the first place.
No, they said the price of the dress was a lot for it not to be perfect, not the price of alterations. Of course alterations would be free if the fault was because of them.
Laura r
that's good, then
Falalongkornz definetly! I would have been like, u fucked up, u fix it for free or give me my money back! Simple.
I'm I the only one who thinks that the first gran looks like Sharon Osbourne lol
Jaymie bambi NOOOOOO
Jaymie bambi your right😂
A very old Sharon Osbourne lol
On a bad day
Hahahah I was gonna say the same thing, that’s her with some Botox and 50 years
Why is the seamstress acting like it's a big inconvenience to fix up the dress in time? Well maybe if you guys hadn't stuffed it up in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem ffs
I'm sure the producers of the show tell the people to up the drama.
@@lualncol ...Yeah, very well possible. It was an unnecessary fault and easy to repair in a months time. What completed the drama was the bride saying...'if my dress isn't right on time, there will be no wedding'...😂😂
The shop did not make the dress. It is not their fault. Of course there is a fee to alter. Perhaps the designer/maker should pay.
The shop didn't make the dress, they just sell it and order it from the designer. Honestly, I wish they had named the designer so people could use this as a cautionary tale not to work with them. I know everyone makes mistakes, but the Quality Assurance portion of their process should not have let that slip through.
@@bmac6841 in the sample dress she tried on, there was undoubtedly all the button loops lols. This isnt an alteration in anything except the strictest sense. This is a screw up that needs fixing. There should definitely be no fee. In these shops the dress is made from scratch based off of the sample dress, and even if it was the sample dress, it is obvious that this is not intenational to the design of the gown. So it would still likely be on the seller to fix.
I used to work at this shop. Trust me, it will take them 5 week to fix a bloody button! One woman had a bolero with her dress. She'd ordered it 3 months ago, was gonna came in for the final fitting two weeks before her wedding and the seamstresses STILL hadn't made the thing. She was FREAKING OUT (understandably). The owner, Christine (blonde posh lady) is actually brilliant. I've seen her tack the bottom of a plain dress and give it beautiful flowly layers in 2 minutes. And she's a really lovely lady and boss. It's just a shame her managers are shit at their job. Totally let her down. Especially Vicky (if she's even still there, wouldn't surprise me if she wasn't). She will be nice to your face but bitch about you and be really nasty behind your back.
You realize his is all scripted, right?
5 weeks to fix a button....I think she'll be fine
I was thinking the same thing, but went back a rewatched it. They claimed the problem to be one side of the dress actually being higher than the other, they just thought it was the button before. While no doubt dramatized for tv, the dress needed some height cut off, then reseamed, and since the decoration is at the top, they would have to redo it.
There's also the fact they have other dresses to work on and they have to alter one side of he dress so its a lot more work than it sounds.
Gurgle it’s really not, sowing a loop on would take less than an hour.
Missy Raine it’s more than just the loop they’d have to add. Since it was uneven, they’d have to level each side equally which takes time with cutting, stitching, rebeading, etc
Lol someone didn’t listen to what the problem was
*you need to trust us*
-Ok-
“I don’t trust them at all.”
Hahahahahaha ha that was hilarious
I don’t think she realized there was no way it wouldn’t be fixed in time.
That’s a Dando London dress, that’s Christine’s reputation.

I do love how the second bride was adamant with her wording of "what are you going to do" and making sure they know they messed up, and it wasn't on her at all. HATE the way the consultant was talking to her- but obviously they are just trying to make drama out of nothing
Ummm . The seamstresses work under pressure, they certainly don’t make mistakes on purpose and are only human, these things happen, they sorted it , it’s not the end of the world, put things in context of importance in life .
The part where the buttons didn’t line up honestly angered me! It’s the salon’s fault the dress is messed up, they shouldn’t be like “Well, we’ll see what we can do.” You messed it up, you fix it!
No, the dressmaker messed up. The salon just sells the dresses and facilitates the order being placed for the dress. They're the middle man between the designer and the bride. The quality assurance of the dressmaker should never have let that leave the shop.
@@alyssac.209 no, she had tried it on before and it was fine. Then they altered the bodice, and that's when it became an issue
the first dress definitely looked better on her figure, in my opinion.
Karina Stepss I agree
I'd agree with you!
True, but once the chosen dress is altered and fitted it will be great
Yeah they could add bling on it
Broshe here silver belt there tirara
Done
Agree but in the end it is her dress
was she actually chewing gum as she walked down the aisle?!
Sophie Walker I know right !
just noticed it eek
I scrolled down to see if anyone else noticed! Whyyy whyy!??? I mean, come on!!!
tacky af
definitely and even whilst talking during the ceremony. wtf
Who cares about the button, why is she chewing gum during her wedding ceremony wth 😂😂😂
megan adams refreshing bad breath. she needs him to kiss her
Probably for anxiety. In front of all those people would be scary, and chewing gum has proven to reduce fear because your brain thinks if you were in danger, you wouldn’t be eating.
I was JUST thinking the same thing!
Right!? LOL not a good look😝
Just what I said 2 Omg that is sooo tacky!!!
"You've got to trust us. Do you trust us?"
"Yes"
Sidebar:"I don't trust them at all."
Such made up drama! Five weeks till the wedding!! They could fix the button issue in a day! Doesn't take 35 days to fix a button! They could make several dresses in that amount of time! Fake drama!
Viki Victoria no they couldn't you take you stupid personality go to Britton and make ten dresses in 35 days of shut up you spoilt selfish brat and go away if you don't like what you see of hear then leave stop complaning
Keira Cooke Damn, what's with the attitude and name calling? Not to mention your poor grammar.
Dresses like those take a lot of time to be fixed since they're made and alterted by hand
Even if it was hours of works, 5 weeks is a lot of wriggle room!
HannibelleLecter no there isn't, imagine all the other dress they have to make and alter
S: whens the wedding?
Bride: 5 weeks
S: that's alot of work.
If that were me i would've been like "well if you had made it properly the first time we wouldn't be in this situation"
"That's going to be a lot of work" I don't care you've messed it up get it sorted! No wonder she's upset!
The dress was messed up by the manufacturer, not the seamstress. However, it would have been better if the seamstress had kept her comments to herself.
I dont get it- how does the veil always instantly change their opinion
syd cannoli I think it's kind of a "get the hint, she really likes this dress, you better say you like it" moment
Like when they put the veil on, you know that is it and you cannot change their mind
I know right!!!
Veil has magical properties....😁😁😁
It goes from just being a white dress to something magical
I like that the bride stood by her decision. And that her family realized that it's her choice that matters in the end. Usually when I watch some clips on this show, the bride would feel pressured by her family to choose another dress or the family wouldnt be so supportive of the bride's choice.
“You need to trust us.”
“Ok”
“I DOn’t TrUst hER aT alL”
I preferred the first dress too, but I'm so glad the bride went with what she wanted!
I thought the button thing wasn't a huge deal but when they fixed it it was perfect 😮
HannibelleLecter backs like that are so pretty
HannibelleLecter yes
Yea I thought so too.. she was like “if this isn’t fixed, I’m not getting married” like girl... it’s just a button. I wouldn’t care if it’s my wedding but that’s just me, ppl are diff but she’s exaggerated so much. 😂
I think she was just upset because it was 5 weeks before her wedding and her dress is not perfectly ready.
I cant believe people saying its only a button.
Perhaps if it was in a sale for $20 yes, but full price and as obvious as that, the person who put that monstrosity together needs one shoved where sun has never, and will never shine.
That is a disgrace reflecting on the designer, and the lady looking after the bride in the shop needs top marks for her handling of the situation
The one wearing glasses looks absolutely stunning in her dress
Um, did nobody else notice that there was nothing wrong with the back of the dress? It was just buttoned up wrong! Total made up drama.
Lea Stotland yeah I noticed that
Lea Stotland ik
They make a fuss about nothing
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. So dumb.
There was a loop missing
Why was she chewing gum while walking down the aisle??? That's just extremely odd...
Ingrid Nineteen Probably for anxiety. In front of all those people would be scary, and chewing gum has proven to reduce fear because your brain thinks if you were in danger, you wouldn’t be eating.
It's your fucking wedding day, not a speech at a school assembly, spit the god damn gum out!
SheNoob Why the fuck would anyone care if she was chewing gum during her wedding? It’s so silly to get upset about something like that.
Tenni Bei but “it’s so tacky” lmao like seriously it’s their wedding.
I love how the dress is £35 pounds over budget and they're acting like it's so gracious when she says it's not about the money
If you don't have a lot of money, that might be your food for the week. There's a reason people have a budget ❤️
I like that the nanny respected her opinion
There isn't a loop missing tbh I think she just missed a button at the bottom to create a fake drama if you pause at 2:45 you can clearly see that the embroidery isn't on the same level on both sides plus the alteration woman only said to cut an inch or two of the neck line to fix the problem which otherwise they would have to make the whole back of the dress again. Just a thought, apparently.
My first thought was to unbutton everything, and go again, slowly, from the top to the bottom. I also think she might've just missed a loop in all those decorations
CallistoSangre that's exactly what I thought.. like wut? I eye rolled soo hard at this fake drama.
I have to admit it , her grandmother's choice is better , but she's such a pretty gal , she looks great in both
WAIT wait wait a minute, was the first bride chewing gum on her wedding, i am not an expert in good manners, but i am still pretty sure that that's nit ok
AlleAlexandra crazy right...
Probably just making sure her breath smells nice
Maybe it was to help her nerves. I mean some people feel like chewing things helps distract them from their nerves, like fidget spinners or anxiety cubes. It may just be like a comfort thing for her.
Probably for anxiety. In front of all those people would be scary, and chewing gum has proven to reduce fear because your brain thinks if you were in danger, you wouldn’t be eating.
For anxiety, I chew gum when I'm nervous.
WAS THE BRIDE AT THE END CHEWING GUM DOWN THE AISLE!? PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME I AM IMAGINING THINGS!
pinkmusiicluva Probably for anxiety. In front of all those people would be scary, and chewing gum has proven to reduce fear because your brain thinks if you were in danger, you wouldn’t be eating.
Yes she was chewing I had to watch it twice to see it
the altered dress was simply gorgeous....I am so glad they were able to get the button issue fixed
When you know the lady’s husband bc he works at your school 😂
The bride with the button problem… start at the top to button and not the bottom. The mismatched button won’t show! 😁
The mum was right, that first dress is so GORGEOUS! Like something Audrey Hepburn would have worn. Not enough bling? Honey get yourself a bedazzler and some sequins at a craft store! Just so pretty
Seamstress: you need to just trust us
Maxine: ok
2 seconds later
Maxine: I don't trust her at all😒
🤣🤣🤣
It’s ridiculous how the bride has to pay extra to fix the missing buttons when they all damn know well it was the seamstresses fault.
響 浅田 I know right so stupid
When did they say she had to pay extra?
She didn't have to pay extra. You misunderstood.
They said: "It's a lot of money to pay for something that's not perfect. It needs to be fixed." Meaning the dress was a lot of money, not the correction.
@@yaritzamiranda921 do we
Was she chewing gum at her wedding?!
Addie E and she def kissed him with gum in her mouth lmaoo
Wat makes us think it's a gum...it can be a toffee
pisses me off when she said ‘it’s not u’. pretty sure the bride would know herself better than anyone else😪
The groom slightly reminded me of Kim un and of course the button problem was fully staged for drama
annie rajendran kim jong un u mean?
Go bride and nana! Bride for standing up for what she wants and nana for accepting it!
The bride with the ‘button’ dress looked radiant and lovely. The team must have breathed a collective sigh of relief.
no I hate the dress..
*puts the veil on*
I LOVE IT IT'S BEAUTIFUL BUY IT!!
I prefer the dress that her grandmother liked.
Her grand mother was so right. First dress suited her more than second- in my opinion. Obviously she didn't feel it though.
The first dress really was better. Sometimes a bride has a vision for her dress but that doesn't mean that her vision will materialize as the right one. But who are we to say something
I mean, it could be the most beautiful dress in the world, and still wouldn’t matter. If you don’t get the wow factor, it’s not the dress for you.
" it's not about the money; it's what's she looks like" lol that's right.love her.
FINALLY a view of the finished dress and the CEREMONY! Please do more of the like.
"You'll have to trust us to get it fixed."
"I don't trust her at all."
Neither would I after that.
Aw her nan was so sweet
Greg Storian I thought she was being unnecessarily awkward and stubborn.
BuddyBontheNet in the end she was fine, she just had preconceived expectations which shows she cares
Greg Storian she is like my grandma
it looks like she missed a button lmao the embroidery is uneven so it's not the loop missing she just buttoned up too fast. it's obvious fake drama.
clickbait title. They are not fighting they are disagreeing thats all
the first dress is way better but ok.
Sarah JU But she didn’t feel comfortable in it and it was her wedding after all
It doesn’t matter how beautiful a dress is. If she doesn’t like it, it’s not the one.
"You need to trust us"
"I don't trust them at all"
Loved the wedding venue, and those beautiful hues of blue… lovely.
Wtf I was at the hotel at the time that couple was getting married lmaoo
where is the hotel? it reminds me of something but i can't tell
Lauren L lol
Lauren L don't tell them where it was creep
I was at a museum and a couple was getting married
HOW TF ARE YOU GONNA SAY "TRUST US" WHEN YOU GAVE HER THE WEDDING DRESS THAT SHE BOUGHT WRONG???
Chomping her gum down the aisle. Pure class 🤦🏽♀️
I would honestly be a little annoyed that the back is uneven but honestly theres no need to break down because of it.
Peace2015 when you are 5 weeks out of your wedding; yes it's worth breaking down..The dress is what everyone will be looking at .
I would have said screw it, button top to bottom, it'll hide the problem
Imagine cancelling your wedding over a button. A button.
the assistants should not have made it sound like it was a problem even if it was that is so unprofessional, its not the brides fault its the assistants job to get it right and make the bride feel at ease.
I like how people in the comments keep saying she should have kept the first dress, first of all it's not your day it's hers and she looked beautiful in both, but if she wanted the second dress that's her choice. She never said the first dress was ugly, it just didn't have what she wanted in the dress she pictured. Let women have their own day. When you get married I'm sure you don't want people telling you what dress you should have picked.
These ladies did not age well...
Valeria Gonzalez LMAO harsh but true
Valeria Gonzalez You are being rude!! Please don’t say stuff like that.
Bad plastic surgery
This bride looks stunning!!!!!!
Good on her for fighting back. It's her that's wearing the dress, not her family.
Should have listened to nana
Wow, the Dando dress with the missing loop! That should've been caught by quality control at the factory. Or was it deliberate drama for the show?
you need to trust me.
Bride shakes head yes
"I don't trust her at all"😂
Nan was right, the first dress did stand out more, suit her better and the second one you couldn’t see the spark but the bride was happy!!
Gorgeous bride .
“you need to trust us”
“I don’t trust her at all😂😭”
When she freaked out over the button loop missing.....I felt that😂
Never ever take more than one grand mother or any old woman generally with you to pick anything cuz at their times there was little variety and they get impressed by anything especially if it's old fashioned
Chelsies dress is beautiful ❤️
Love it!
Tbh i think the second dress was better. She shined in it, she loved it, and it made her glow.
Both dresses on the girl who fought her family were BEAUTIFUL
DIDN"T even apologise and admit they messed up!!!! Like it just happened out of the blue and nothing to do with them and now they're doing to do her a favour to fix it in time??? I've read LOTS of horror stories on Google reviews for this shop, so that attitude made me really feel for ALL those bitterly disappointed brides!!
The second girl sounds like Marina Joyce
Meow Moosawi yeaaaas 😂
A bride shouldn't have to go through that 5 weeks before their wedding. It should have been obvious to anyone who had checked the dress over that the line was totally off at the back.
I agree with Daniel's choice, and how could they not have seen that the dress buttons were unequal
I was cringing when the seamstress kept saying it would be down to the wire. I bet the bride was feeling stressed for weeks. They should have promised it would be done no problem, then pulled out all the stops to make it happen.
Grandma it's Danielle's wedding and not yours, if she didn't feel right in the first dress yet does in the second one leave her alone.
"If they don't get it done in time then I'm not getting married" ????? That's one girl who's seriously in love then.
I love the first one!
Ayyy I love that dressss
Chelsea wedding colors that blue was driving or whatever it is it was really pretty and it turned out right and I loved her makeup 😍
*insists on hearing price before she tries on the veil*
*the dress is in the budget*
"It's not about the money"
😂
I want my family to tell me the truth, but everyones different
First time maybe I've seen the bride, instead of the consultant, use the old whip-out-a-veil ploy to win over the entourage 😂
I want a Nana like her! She has eye for beauty and details! Can she join me on my shopping day?
Hold the phone .. that girl was chewing gum when she was giving vows😂😂😂😂😂
@6:26 To remove the beading is insane - an intelligent seamstress would go to the bottom of the buttons, remove the excess fabric, re-set the stitching along the bottom edge and be done - this would result in one less button loop - in about five minutes - that's probably what they did to get a thunderous applause.
Chelsie is so pretty
The first dress is gorgeous
Chelsie looked beautiful in her dress at her wedding.
“i don’t trust her at all” that woman chelsea was so fricking annoying i was just like ahhhhhhh
Her mums had to much botox
Lilyroseunicorn P.R definitely
Now I get why they push the Dando London’s dresses every episódio. The owner of the store is the designer!
FIVE WEEKS AND IT MIGHT BE DOWN TO THE WIRE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
About the buttons...why not start buttoning it from the top? A loop missing at the bottom may not even show. Yes, it needs to be fixed, though. If there wasn't time, just button from the top. Sad it cost so much and wasn't right.
I think the 1st dress is gorgeous
Lol the nanny is hard to please lol
