Stop scavenging for views and be creative rather than making video after video about the same stuff. This is like your 25th video about TotK in 3 weeks. All your other videos barely get any views so you grasp on to something popular and run it in the hole.
Feel great with this game but sad my wife didnt get to play it. She loved all of the 3D Zelda Games including Breath of the wild. She died last year on March 2 and never got to see Tears of the kingdom. While i will enjoy this game, it still is bittersweet because i know she would have loved this. Hope everyone enjoys the game.
your wife is playing it in her afterlife.. she probably completed the game before you in heaven you have access to video games before they are released on the physical plane.

I was playing it from the moment it unlocked last night till around 3:30 AM. Had to sleep and get my kid off to school and start working my day job. Put on a stream of someone playing from the beginning in the background (so they aren't at a further point then I am - also while chugging coffee) and was so surprised how differently they went through the same things as I did. This game is so amazing at how every player's experience will be 100% unique. It's so amazing and even with my almost 100% (not all of the damn Koroks) BOTW playthrough, this is completely a different game. Just the absence of the runes changes so much of how you play. Loving it so far.
this is not a different game at all, it is just a mod / ontop of botw. IT is essentially BOTW with a few more gimmicks, and that's it, it's very cheap, and not a "new game" at all.
Botw felt like it took them 6 years to build the world but it didn't have that much in it, tears of the kingdom feels like they've had years to fill the world and make it feel more alive with more stuff to do plus more.
@@DoubleDDeacon there are some empty areas but there not as big as botw and there's always something close by like things for building vehicles, seems to be a lot more enemies on the map and more different types. I beat botw master mode before going into this and I've died a lot, there's way more quests and things going on in the world too, there's too much to even mention in a comment but I'm addicted to the game at the moment.

What would have been cool, is to be able to continue/transfer your load save from BoTW, to ToTK, to have these games as literal linear stories by the same link from the same hyrule

All I'm asking for is to be able to move your character from BoTW to ToTK, since it's essentially the same game just in the future storyline wise, it would be a great feature for continuation purposes
I'm a 49 year old gamer. I've played and beat all Zeldas (zelda 2, minish, oracles etc). I found Nintendo took a turn towards Botw with Windwaker. And now with the way Tears feels it is very reminiscent of Windwaker. (To me at least). Anyhow.. back to Tears I go! 🇨🇦 🎮

The problem is is that the fact that the game is like 80% of breath of the Wild, means it's going to pick up breath of the Wilds accolades as part of its own achievements. I hear a lot of people talking about the open world aspect and the fight mechanics and the secrets.. those are literally all borrowed from breath of the Wild. None of that is exclusive to tears of the Kingdom and therein lies the problem. This game will never be judged simply on its own merits. So because people love the original game and complete the qualities of the original with the new one, they will tell everybody this was worth $70. But I would say, ask yourself, if all the added features were put together in a DLC pack to upgrade breath of the wild, would you say that would be worth $70? That's the real way to judge whether this game is up to its asking point without the game coattailing The Nostalgia of its predecessor

Watching RGT's video after watching BeatEmUp's own Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom video. As a lifelong Zelda fan who's followed the series ever since I was a little kid playing the NES original classic in The '80s, I was already looking forward to Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom but after watching both Wood & RGT's respective videos about this game, I'm even more excited to pick up the game soon. Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom might not be my #1 most anticipated game of 2023 (that would be Final Fantasy 16) but it's easily in my Top 10 2023 games period.

Majoras Mask had one of the most fun/diverse game play mechanics. You could literally turn into a different character at will when you pick up those masks.
Tears of The Kingdom is my first Zelda game. I have zero excuses as to why that is. I'm 32 and grew up a huge N64 fan. It's just one of those series I never dove into and now is the time .
I pre_ordered Tears of the Kingdom as soon as I could. Unfortunately, I have to work a double today. Starting tomorrow I booked 2 weeks off. I'm super excited to play it. Come on 11pm when my shift ends
@@thedarkknight221 I liked it but I didn't. It would be amazing if I wasn't comparing it to RE4 the whole time. It just can't compare. The characters, pacing, atmosphere, voice acting, chemistry. The gameplay (Though forcing me to play as Ashely was a big L) was the only area it beat it out on. They should of done a Metroid Prime style remake instead of trying to reinvent greatness.

I'm enjoying it. I love the options I have with exploring , fighting enemies or bypassing them. Finding things out in the world. It's imersive and engaging.

In handheld I only get frame drops using Ultrahand and even then it's not that bad. They definitely did some blood magic to optimize this game as well as they did

You wouldn’t be saying the same thing if it wasn’t Zelda and Nintendo. We live in a era where even the smallest bugs and frame drops outrage people. People just give this a pass because they love Zelda, myself included.
Links Awakening was my first Zelda experience. I was a kid, and the fact waking up was going to destroy an entire world blew my little kid mind. Stuck w me to this day. (Coming on 40)
Ok I was excited for the game already but I'm going to be honest the lack of story in botw really put me off. It was a fantastic game and I really enjoyed it but I feel like it would have been so much better if I cared more about what was happening instead of only what I could do. This really sounds like my only complaint was addressed.
Same. Was in the tutorial area and died repeatedly due to foolishness 😂. Did not get frustrated. I just had to adjust how I approached it. You'll get through it soon
My favorite Nintendo YT'er put out the best Zelda: TotK non-review review. It's funny how you explained "You have to experience this game for yourself due to the freedom" as this is pretty much the exact way I explained Zelda: BotW to my brother for years. He never picked it up until a few months ago and he sends me a text at like 12 in the morning with "This is the most magical game I've ever played"... Seems like Nintendo knocked it out of the park again. I unfortunately have to wait until my collectors edition comes in. I refuse to support digital only(I need physical always) and so I'll leave this comment and then go radio dark again on YT as it's so hard not to click some of these videos.
I am maybe an hour or two into it, just got the fuse ability. It's a game I feel like I can play at my own pace and just look around. The puzzles keep you occupied, not too hard but hard enough to make you think. Same with the enemies. The music and art style is makes it very relaxing to play. Great game so far, very BotW but different at the same time. Thanks to RGT for reviewing it in this way. I don't really wan to watch anyone play the game and spoil it.
So you’re saying this game succeeds in replay-ability without a DLC. It’s what I love about Nintendo. While Xbox and PS competes with higher graphics, Nintendo blows them out of the water with innovation and great games.

Wasted my money and time, after 15 hours of playing, after i got on the ground from the sky, is like playing again BOTW, gets boring quick, and the fact that you have to be a mechanic to build so many stupid things just to get from point a to point b, feels like a math class, to get the right result.

You nailed it. Took some time to get use to the frame rate (at times) after playing RE4 on PS5 but this game is so much fun. A historic moment in gaming. This is a game you can just play for hours and hours.

Tears of a kingdom is a great game and I spent 3 hours last night playing it. Up to the third shrine and paused it to get some sleep. The zelda story is so good and can't wait to play some more tonight.

This is the best video game I’ve ever played, frame rate issues aside. It’s like breathe of the wild on acid.

RE4 remake was the first major release of 2023 for me, now TOTK is gonna take up my time.
The bad thing is I didn't really have time to play re4 remake. Took a month to beat it on HC. This game will take wayyy longer.

I've been enjoying the familiar areas of the map. Being able to check back in with characters after BOTW has been fun.

@@rickfowler273 Try the fusing power with arrows. You can come up with some cool stuff. Elemental damage and other wacky combos.
the bypassing things is what i dont like. you can just do whatever with no fighting, makes it boring.

In handheld I only get frame drops using Ultrahand and even then it's not that bad. They definitely did some blood magic to optimize this game as well as they did
Now imagine if they could optimize it this well on a more powerful device
its is not that bad = excusing Nintendo and their outdated hardware with 900P, 30fps. What a joke. The Asus RoG Ally will be running an HD pack at 60 fps in a matter of weeks.
You wouldn’t be saying the same thing if it wasn’t Zelda and Nintendo. We live in a era where even the smallest bugs and frame drops outrage people. People just give this a pass because they love Zelda, myself included.

The story in Links Awakening is fantastic.
Links Awakening was my first Zelda experience. I was a kid, and the fact waking up was going to destroy an entire world blew my little kid mind. Stuck w me to this day. (Coming on 40)

Ok I was excited for the game already but I'm going to be honest the lack of story in botw really put me off. It was a fantastic game and I really enjoyed it but I feel like it would have been so much better if I cared more about what was happening instead of only what I could do. This really sounds like my only complaint was addressed.
Just started playing it today. Just got the fuse power. It's exactly what I wanted. More of the same, but different and better.

It's funny how you explained "You have to experience this game for yourself due to the freedom" as this is pretty much the exact way I explained Zelda: BotW to my brother for years. He never picked it up until a few months ago and he sends me a text at like 12 in the morning with "This is the most magical game I've ever played"...
Seems like Nintendo knocked it out of the park again. I unfortunately have to wait until my collectors edition comes in. I refuse to support digital only(I need physical always) and so I'll leave this comment and then go radio dark again on YT as it's so hard not to click some of these videos.

I am maybe an hour or two into it, just got the fuse ability. It's a game I feel like I can play at my own pace and just look around. The puzzles keep you occupied, not too hard but hard enough to make you think. Same with the enemies. The music and art style is makes it very relaxing to play. Great game so far, very BotW but different at the same time. Thanks to RGT for reviewing it in this way. I don't really wan to watch anyone play the game and spoil it.

It’s what I love about Nintendo. While Xbox and PS competes with higher graphics, Nintendo blows them out of the water with innovation and great games.

thank goodness, i wonder how a nintendo youtuber give a fair review of this game.
Wasted my money and time, after 15 hours of playing, after i got on the ground from the sky, is like playing again BOTW, gets boring quick, and the fact that you have to be a mechanic to build so many stupid things just to get from point a to point b, feels like a math class, to get the right result.
Another great video, definitely can't wait to pick this game up
I have been playing this morning one more shrine to go in the starting area. It already feels like a much improved BOTW to me.

You nailed it. Took some time to get use to the frame rate (at times) after playing RE4 on PS5 but this game is so much fun. A historic moment in gaming. This is a game you can just play for hours and hours.

False, the game kind of hooked me immediately in a way botw really failed to. Botw really kind of lacked the sense of urgency that kind of draws me into Zelda games and I think totk has kind of massively improved upon that. First impressions of the game are really important for maintaining interest throughout for me so… I’m really enjoying totk
Yeah I lost interest in BOTW but TOTK has hooked me in a way the last game didn’t.
Great video as always! I made it a point to solve the puzzles and traverse the sky island differently from streams and commercials. The game has so many options in gameplay. This game will appeal to everyone.

My Zekda Amazon Prime envelope came in today while at work. Grabbing some dinner and then jumping in.. hope I get some sleep tonight at some point.
Tears of a kingdom is a great game and I spent 3 hours last night playing it. Up to the third shrine and paused it to get some sleep. The zelda story is so good and can't wait to play some more tonight.
