@@DatrysiadMedia Oooooooo You have my attention, good sir! I always find that I do price comparisons for film gear and computer parts, but now I think I need to do more research. And personally, and it's 100% a personal preference, but when I buy lighting gear I buy from Aputure, Amaran or IntellyTech directly and slider / gimbal gear from Edelkrone and DJI . I figure if there's ever an issue I can contact them directly rather than having to work through the reseller.
@NightOwlsMedia yeah there are certain things I buy direct when it comes to equipment, mainly down to being better dealing with issues. Touch wood though, I've not had to return anything. Only issue I had was with the edelkrone slider but they sorted that out pretty quick so no complaints there. Just doing my best to hold off buying gear lol, going through the GAS stage again and it's always dangerous lol
