Thank you so much. Our Kymco People would not run after sitting all winter. I followed this exactly and it now runs great! Ours is 2002 and very slightly different but I watched this video and was able to fix it perfectly!!

Hey I have exact scooter year n all. I have cleaned my carburator multiple times. I've got spark I've got fuel and I'm almost positive I have air. It's hard to start n once it starts I t stalls n I'm back at trying to get it started.. anything you may think of by chance? Only thing in carburator I did notice after multiple cleans is the fact that there is no O RING in the float bowl seat valve. I truly don't know if it's ever had one. It ran all year I've had it. And the only time valve was removed is when I noticed no O RING so it's not like I may of lost it when cleaning it. Plz help
@@kailynnmcguire2354 mine also had an electrical problem with the switch that shots off the motor and it would make it loose spark and stall when I hit a bump on the road. I had to change the switch for a new one.
Great and infomative video! Occasional wind noise, I couldn't hear you, but it didn't matter bacause the video shots were great! Well done! Now if you could do one for an 09 Xciting 500. :)

I’m trying to put the idle back into the carburetor but the whole thing stay at top and won’t go down so when I start the scooter it idle very high and the tire is spinning very fast I line up the the silver thing into the hole but the middle part won’t go down? Any suggestion??? I really need your help
Did you make sure you installed the carburator slide properly? If you didn't line it up properly the slide will be stuck wide open. The carb will fit back together qith the slide installed incorrectly. Just look in the carb and see if the slide is all the way up and you'll know you have to take the top cap off and turn the slide until the needle is in the hole and slide is dropped into place.

Thanks I was able to clean the carburetor on my kymco super 8 50cc 2013 with your instructions. The parts and assembly is near identical.

That's the same carb on my MCU 50 is that the bleed screw on the bottom?

Could be just the gas cap leaking air causing it to suck more fuel
