Although it might look similar to the N20B20 twin-scroll turbocharged inline four cylinder, the engine in this BMW is the N52B25, a naturally aspirated inline six. After reviewing the video myself, I can see where one might think it's a four banger because of how far back the engine sits and the limited exposure of the rear intake runners (4 can be clearly seen, the 5th appears very briefly).
That makes sense. I’m looking at buying one on the weekend. 2011 323i and my son looked it up and told me it was a 4 then I saw 4 on this video. But there is no 4. Hmmm. I can get it for $1500 Canadian, apparently only needs rear control arms. Right.
I will. Although my mechanic just warned me to stay clear of it. Said that particular model is very cheap and unreliable. I don’t always listen to him though. Probably should but I don’t.
@@jasonmacfarlane7885 I think the old saying goes "You roll the dice, you take your chances, " especially when it comes to the Pre-owned/used car market. Best of luck on the decision.
That’s an In-line 4 not an I6. Nice though. Clean.

@@jasonmacfarlane7885 I hope the test drive goes/went well and drop a line if the deal gets done.
