My god. The Norman fight, I'm just imagining you show up to your dad's gym, he's so proud that his daughter is ready to battle him, but he won't go easy. Comes out with a facade, you start injecting your pokemon with steroids to make it tougher. He gets concerned. He puts your pokemon to sleep, you continue to inject it over and over with more drugs, all while it lays there sleeping. If health gets low, you inject more drugs to boost it back up. Then your pokemon wakes up and just lays waste to his entire team. Your father cries, he's never seen such indifferent cruelty in a trainer. He always dreamed you'd grow up to be a champion, but not like this. Not like this...

For a Brick, he flew pretty good
There might be another way to get around the ghost types in theory; foresight & odor sleuth remove ghost immunity to normal and fighting moves, and if memory serves, damage calculation treats them like a normal type instead while under this effect. Sableye had terrible stats across the board for the sake of balance, as it was naturally ignoring a massive chunk of the move pool with three immunities and a couple resistances, then fairy type happened lol.

@@cancerguy5435 Rock tomb crit would have been a range to kill (just calced it), and Ant was probably reasonably concerned about EQ critting back which would have nearly killed Blaziken. In addition, rock tomb also has a 20% chance to miss, which is greater than its chance to crit. Since he knew that Crobat was immune to earthquake and could set up Toxic on the Altaria, switching into that first was a better play than immediately switching into Blaziken.
Rock Tomb isn't very strong tho

God. That ending was the most tense Pokémon fight I’ve ever seen. It was like watching an anime, I thought FOR SURE he’d lose fighting Metagross but NO. Friendship (and revival herbs) saves the day.
The True MVP is CJ for always doing something that helps more matter what and always refuses to never go down without a fight.
You can say what you want but CJ was the MVP of this challenge.
The funniest part is that CJ was literally only the mvp because it's a Shroomish. If you had evolved it then it would have become a fighting type meaning the Metagross would have guaranteed use psychic on it because that's super effective. Being a pure grass type is what led Metagross to using Hyper Beam and missing which got off the leech seed which won the match. CJ literally main character in every way.
