  • In this episode of Coin Quest: Pennies, we are coin roll hunting another $25 box of pennies in search of rare and valuable coins to fill in the collection book. This box has tons of great finds, including multiple old Canadian pennies and wheat pennies. We even got some new coins into the collection which is pretty crazy for 23 boxes in. Thanks for watching!

I'm getting back into collecting. I acquired my Grandfathers collection that has some dating back to the 1920's of some Canadian coins, and I put them in a safe place. When I find that safe place again I will get in touch with you.

Great video! The best way to tell the difference between the 1955 Shoulder Fold (SF) and No Shoulder Fold (NSF) is to look at the lettering. The top of the "I" in "DEI" is flared (almost like a serif font) for the NSF obverse, and is fairly slim in the SF variety. Your is the Shoulder Fold variety!

Hey Ryan, Awesome video as always... check that 1940s penny you found... the one you put into your collection... looked to me like it has a die crack on the reverse from the left side of the rim to the wheat stalk. If so... that would be a nice error penny!

You missed an ender roll right at the beginning of the video. You grabbed the 2 09 ender rolls and the next one in line rolled over and you went strsight to the last 2 rolls. Did anyone else catch that? BTW... Really love your vids.

Hey, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your videos and I wanted to share something with you and the others who watch your videos, it's somewhat of a trivia info but I think you will find it interesting to know, there is one coin we claim we have in America, but we've never minted here, ( the penny ), we mint cent coins, the name penny come over from the British people way back when lol, but anyway I think you'll find this interesting to know.

I don’t think that Canadian penny is rare. Let me rephrase and give some context: are used to live in the Buffalo New York area and pretty much American pennies and Canadian pennies were interchangeable. I have a 2 gallon jar that is filled with the 1955 and so forth pennies that I was collecting since I grew up. They’re all pre-1975 pennies with varying designs. And because we were so close to Canada we already the Canada Canadians would come over to the US that’s all prior to 9/11. So I could get Canadian money all the time
