- Behold! My living quarters: It's literally a concrete jungle, a slab of concrete granite. In fact, by now, it's just a bunch of rubble. I sleep where the wolves reside, deep in the forestry of nothingness. You weren't expecting that, were you? I appear as though I'm drunk again. It is as though zero f*cks were given that day.
In any event, I got some good walking exercise on my journey. Later, I swam, took a shower, and slept. I achieved maximum achievement level in my own sense of doing things with my private time.

The old way of thinking is gone. And as bad as it was it had some structure to it. I was a US Marine, a Navy reservist and a commercial electrician. All in all about 30 years of the grind. Now at 61 I am retired. But I feel for the younger generations because they were left hanging after my generation sucked everything up. Now, Utube, Tic Toc are platorms to make money but they are dependant on social validation. And that's not a life skill. Or at least it wasn't back in the day. Maybe that's the problem. Idk. Too old to care.
I subscribed because you have good wisdom for a young guy. And remember that you are still very young. Best to you.

@somethinggood-sy1ed I'm 50 and will likely work until I die. The politicians, corporations, and private equity have stripped all of the wealth out of this country and gave us trillions in debt.
This old dude gets it. The grind was worth it before. Now it’s for nothing. Every working class young person is coming to the realization that there is no home ownership or retirement in their future. So working harder is pointless. And that is a real problem for a corporatocracy. Productivity is sinking fast and the rich are betting heavily on robots and AI to keep the machines running at full speed before the human labour gives out.
And as i get older my patience wears thin which affects my resiliency. No longer am i able to tolerate the competition , struggles for acknowledgement and achievement. I dont give a F**k and at this point I'm annoyed because I have the money I need to liberate myself from this chaos. One more day to go Chao.

8:50 unemployment isn’t all that much, 3-6 months depending on your state and is usually not enough to even cover rent. It helps but it’s not much.

I thought I saw you wearing scrubs in another video. Are you not making bank in the medical field? If so you can save enough to retire comfortably very quickly but I may be misunderstanding.
He's evidently a radiology tech in a high cost of living area (NJ). He makes six figures but even that doesn't go far there when one bedroom apartments are $3k a month. I suggested to him to move to a significantly lower cost of living area and he'll live like a king in comparison.
