    I use it on my 2023 tlx type s, only 13k miles. Works great, big difference in the way the car feels, using less gas too. Car feels way more efficient thanks liqui moly I appreciate you guys. This go round I just used it with the oil I had which is Mobil 1 advanced full synthetic 0w-20. I typcially change my oil every 2500 miles, on this next round I’m going to try the Molygen 0w-20. Using molygen oil with the ceratec still in engine is all good right?

      Cera Tec (code 3721) is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product suitable for use in both petrol and diesel engines. It can be used in new cars, even those that have run just 4,000 miles, to improve the longevity of the engine by reducing wear and friction.

      @@LiquiMolySouthAfrica Great and thanks for the reply. One final question to get clear is , is it safe to add this 300ml of liqui moly to the engine oil which is already filled to the suggested capacity by manufacturer. In my case it is 3.8L filled in hyundai creta petrol egine. If I add 300ml extra does it put any pressure on engine?

    • @LiquiMolySouthAfrica
      @LiquiMolySouthAfrica  Před 2 měsíci

      @@jaipalreddy4894 When adding Liqui Moly Cera Tec (product code 3721) to your Hyundai Creta's engine oil, it is important to consider the oil capacity. The total capacity of the engine oil should not be exceeded by more than 5-10%. In your case, your engine oil capacity is 3.8 liters.
      Here are your options:
      1. Drain 300ml of Engine Oil: To ensure you don't overfill the engine, you can drain 300ml of the existing engine oil before adding the 300ml of Cera Tec.
      2. Slight Overfill Tolerance: Many engines can tolerate a slight overfill of up to 10%. In your case, an additional 300ml would bring the total to 4.1 liters, which is within a reasonable range for most engines. However, this depends on the specific tolerances of your Hyundai Creta's engine.
      To avoid any risk, it's generally safer to drain the 300ml of existing oil before adding the Cera Tec. This ensures you stay within the manufacturer’s recommended oil capacity.
      If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to ask!

    does it helps lubricating the turbocharger?

    • @LiquiMolySouthAfrica
      @LiquiMolySouthAfrica  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Thank you for your question. Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product that can indeed help in lubricating and protecting the turbocharger. It forms a protective layer on the metal surfaces, reducing friction and wear, which can be beneficial for the turbocharger's components. Here's how Cera Tec helps:
      1. Enhanced Lubrication: Cera Tec improves the lubrication properties of the oil, ensuring smoother operation of the turbocharger.
      2. Reduced Friction: The ceramic particles in Cera Tec reduce friction between moving parts, which is critical in high-speed components like turbochargers.
      3. Wear Protection: It forms a durable protective layer that minimizes wear and extends the lifespan of the turbocharger.
      For best results, Cera Tec should be added to the engine oil during an oil change. It's compatible with most commercial motor oils and doesn't alter the oil's characteristics.

      Hi there. I'm not trying to insert myself... Just b a friend in case this helps u. I've done a VOA(virgin oil analysis) on Ceratec. It has 4600 ppm Moly (I think modtc instead of Mos2... Mos2 tends to b dirty and isn't soluble), it has 2400ppm boron (says oxide not nitride on the msds but nitride is made from boron tri oxide, so I'm not sure?), it has roughly 800 ppm zddp (zinc/phosphorus combined) and like 1600 calcium. U can divide that by 5 quarts of oil and see what the ppm would b for each thing in the oil pan. It's actually a pretty robust anti wear/friction additive pack. One would just have to decide if they wanted all that stuff. I actually am using it so I'm not saying anything negative.. Just personal choice. Calcium does compete for metal surface space and plating of the zinc, Moly, boron, but they also use the calcium as a carrier because it works in synergy w boron and raise the base number of the oil. Seems like a pretty good product but I just wanted to inform u of all that was in the 'soup'. It's not just boron but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Wagner micro ceramic is just boron nitride a a little calcium. Just FYI. Thanks my Brother... I hope this help. Didn't mean to b nosey.
