I remember my father having shoe trees for every each pair of shoes. Men’s shoes generally are such much better constructed and more expensive than women’s- designer aside- just regular shoes. Thanks for this video. It’s a great idea for all the leather loafers I have, one that is similar to the Gucci.

Great question Julie. I do not put the shoe covers over them. I would say the Gucci dust bags are great for travel only.
Hi Ash. Great video and really interesting also, never fully know what a shoe tree was for until I saw this. I did not know they were used as a method for getting moisture. With a shoe like this, I can imagine sweat feet easily happens. With that, has having smelly feet been an experience for you in the past when wearing loafers, and is there anything else you have tried before to overcome this?
Thanks, I just learned this myself. In regards to smelly shoes, I've always stuffed them with clean socks to try to get rid of the smell, never worked.
