- Today I will show you HOW TO CROCHET this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS BABY DRESS OR CROCHET FROCK BY CROCHET FOR BABY for 3 to 6 months. It's The Lily pinafore style dress pattern which you can easily crochet it smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial. Just remember these sizes are not exact they are approximate since not all babies are the same size and since tension varies from person to person which can affect the final size. TO MAKE SMALLER OR BIGGER:
NB use 2.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
6-9M use 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn

Materials used:
Dress = 133g of #3 yarn ( I used La Mia Baby Boom 100g in white and 33g in pink) but you can use any yarn with similar weight like #DK, or 8ply)

You can slow the speed down by going to settings and put the settings lower than normal.

Should we iron or wash our finished little dresses?
I always wash in gentle cycle but look at your yarn label then I lay flat to dry. I like to stretch it a little so there’s more stitch definition. I hope this helps
I somehow wound up with 34 v-stitches. Should I frog it and go back to the beginning of the v stitches for the beginning of the bottom part of the dress? Or will it work out ok with the 2 extra v stitches?
Yes I would go back and make the 35 v stitches so that when you divide the sleeves you have the correct number.
I've already made the chains around the bottom of the yolk and under the arms.I had the right amount of stitches for those. I think I just messed up when starting the v stitches for the bottom part of the dress and ended up with too many.
