    My name's Scott Cavazos you were recently in Monroe, Michigan and drew a picture of my sons mother for him. I just wanted to say thank you for how awesome that was. She was murdered in a suicide murder by her husband an then her best friend ran off with a go fund me account for. Him an his siblings it was all over the news an kids took it hard but one of her favorite movies an photos she had everywhere was based on the crow so this really meant a lot to him. He wants it as his first tattoo

      That remark didn't sit well with me, since he's at an event where both children and adults attend. I do admire his work though; I have two custom sketches in my autograph book.

      that remark is one that would go over the head of most children. people are too damn sensitive these days.

    His one pet peeve was that Eric feigned immortality through the bird in the original The Crow. Interesting... I love this very much, he seems like a pleasure to be around! I wonder if he's going to be at NY Comic Con anytime soon?

    That's too bad because I would also love to see a Sin City Version of The Crow and Have James Art be the world we see. Artistically this is what I would love to do and it would be one of the all the time best Comic Movies ever.

      I wish I had enough money to make another Crow Film with James. O what a dream come true that would be.

    I'm glad there was a lot of new information on this about the new crow movie. I'm glad there will be a new soundtrack and actually use actual Joy Division songs which is awesome. Maaaaaaaan I wish I could have been there somehow to buy some of those art prints exclusive to this convention. Also 'ol James is a pretty cool character.

  • @Moviefan2k4
    @Moviefan2k4 Před 9 lety

    I really liked this presentation; James has a way of just putting everything on the table, with no pretense or deception. I've never seen "Boardwalk Empire" or "Downton Abbey", but the idea of a British cast is definitely interesting. I also like that the Skull Cowboy will exist in the new film, because I really liked the idea behind that character 20 years ago.

    Dacre Montgomery, the visual reincarnation of Brandon Lee. Get him to play it! He has the right age and looks!

    Now it could be James O,Barr did draw because he does move fast while chaping fast to !!! And Brandon was talking about how he hoped the film would really stick to the commic book !!! And YES I so some drawings that were made for The Crow !!! My question could be if he maibe after that made drawings for the Joker to ??? Now he is telling the public about a Keath was influenced by The Crow aswell as the Directtor and that sort of same look and so on bud not only that !!! He also said it was not just that bud alsodolly chot,s and camera angles and that there even was a chot in a trailer that in wich the camera zoomes right up to the Joker and then lifts up and goes right up to the over coat just alike looks over his shoulder and so O,Barr gets it to that it cam right from The Crow even the same lighting !!! Now O,Barr just seems fladderet bud I think thats because he knows he will be working with cameras and stuff again and doesnt want his mind on all that could ever go wrong like with Brandon !!! Bud he doesnt egnore that fact !!! And I must say I so simulare thing to !!! People do talk abou this stuff to and make video.s about it !!! So now are ther some same people on the set of the Joker who also worked on the set of The Crow ore what ??? Well I am going to look that up now !!! Because this video sure makes me wonder about that for REAL now !!!!

    i always thought sting ripping off the crow was weak and lazy creativity. im a huge crow fan and i couldnt get my head around to liking sting, souly because off that . the crow has always been very real to me, and for someone to use that iconic look to participate in something as staged and gimmicky as pro wrestling was insulting to say the least.
    p.s Kristen Stewart would be a good lead for a female crow.

    If James O’Barr really did start working on a comic book the Crow back in 1981 as he has stated; where is the artwork? Why have we never seen any of his very first drawings of Eric/the Crow? Countless other artists are happy to show off their first drawings of their famous characters. Where are the first drawing James O’Barr did of the Crow from 1981 till 1989? The reason you have never seen any of these drawings is because they don't exist. James O’Barr did not start working on the crow until Halloween night 1988. Now the only reasons he says he started the comic book back in 1981 was so that he could rip off me! So the next time you're at a comic book convention asked James O bar where is his original drawings from 1981 and why is none of his artwork from then dated? Observe his reaction; they will be the reactions of a liar and a thief and, someone who has no respect for the dead or living!

      +Erik Da'Raven (Eric Humphrey) Hey man! I saw your vids disproving his part in the comic a few years ago. You said you told him the history of your love life and what-not and he turned it into the Crow without giving you credit right? In this comment of yours here ^^ it sounds like he stole the artwork but not having any scratch drawings of his own. So did you do drawings yourself or did he rip off another artist?

      +Nathan Zsido O'Barr and I met at a bar called City Club in downtown Detroit on Halloween 1988. When e was me he came up to me and asked what I was; after telling him. He asked if he could base a comic book on me (my look and the story behind it; the lose of my Beloved Tammie). O'Barr did all the artwork on his own as far as I know. I was somewhat of a vigilantly from 1985 to 1989 around the LeLand Hotel in downtown Detroit.

      Bull shit, he was drawing the crow when his girlfriend died. The crow was NEVER intended as a comic for the public. It was all private. Watch the dvd extras you dumb ass! 🖕🖕🖕🖕
