You know the crow to this day is my favorite movie of all time. I put it over any new Marvel movie that ever came out and any new DC movie that ever came out. And it's simply because of this guy. Not only do I think his art style it's one of the most unique art styles I've ever seen but the fact that this movie has such a deep meaning simply because it was the blueprint of a unfairly tortured mine. There is no comic book movie out there to this day that holds and honest silhouette of the pain and grief an individual goes through after losing somebody they loved unconditionally. And it don't matter what other comic book movie comes out not one of them will ever hold a candle to this movie because the personal substance they give you will never have a truly bonding element like this movie does. Hands-down the most iconic movie I will ever witness in my life. So please don't give us a remake of Spawn or anything else you would think we want to see. And just build a TV screen that reaches the bottom of the heavens and set it right in the center of world and let's all open our windows and watch The Crow One More Time.
It's amazing the life he lived and what happened with his girl. Then he created a story that I think all young men should read. The psychology of it is very enlightening and painful
His artwork and writing is just brilliant. The crow gave me the inspiration..the permission to do my own graphic novel. Masterpiece as far as im concern. The film as well. James is great. 👍🏻 At 47 and as an artist/art director/teacher im still looking at his art for inspiration and i always show his artwork when speaking to the young artist or anyone interested in art/comic book/graphic novels.
Intense story. I just found The Crow this past week while my friend was rummaging through a lot of his old stuff. I ended up transfixed and read it in one sitting. The levels that it hits are unreal, and the intensity to which O'Barr speaks throughout this interview is riveting. Cheers for uploading this.

Really? Just reacher? I strongly suggest you look beyond reacher! You have no idea of the crazy stuff this man has written. Can see Reacher from the PTSD angle though.

This guy has lead a horrible life. It really shows on The Crow. I grew up in a broken home with a druggy dad, so The Crow was keeping me stable.
