Finding Free Camps between Exmouth and Karratha

- This episode is all about free camping around Karratha, we hit up some ripper overnight camps. We have to navigate our way through a creek to get into a potential camp. Karratha is so underrated and we think there is so much more out there that we want to discover. we get taken alive by killer hummingbirds (large mosquitos) and blood was drawn by them. We also find a grumpy python that isn't so happy to se me, they are such beautiful snakes and i was just trying to save it's life by getting it away from the road.

Love the vids, editing, music, content are awesome. With rubbish being an Aussie camper I have seen it plenty of times, I and now the kids clean up every camping site we visit. As we are walking to the bin every time we scan the ground picking up every bottle cap and piece of rubbish we find. I used to complain about it but now take action. You also have to be mind full the bin and mess you were looking at and comenting had all the signs of animals going through the bin and spreading the rubbish around and actually not a people created mess. I have seen and had our rubbish bags ripped apart and scattered around. Then had to clean it all up. Roos possums and birds especially at cotton tree qld. It does highlight the importance of taking your rubbish with you. I now use a spare tyre attached secure gear pack for rubbish to stop the wildlife. Have a go at cleaning up any mess you find, I now love doing it it is really a job for everyone not just a couple of volunteers. Sends a good message to the kids. Have fun cheers 4x4smile

Love the setup, love the vids and love the free camps you go to BUT I cannot understand why you didn’t clean up the mess left by the previous campers especially considering you spoke about the not for profit guys who go around cleaning up Australia.

Why would you drive away and leave rubbish like that. If you cleaned it other people are inclined to leave a site clean….. maybe. It would have been a great example to set for your children.
Like I previously said 99% of the time we do but the smell was that bad and we weren’t going near a bin for a while so didn’t want that smell in or near the van when free camping.
Hot tip, please use audio volume levelling when compile your videos. The intro is like 2x louder than “everythink” (sic) else.
I’ve listened to it on 4 different devices and don’t notice it to be honest. I’ll look into it more though.

Great episode. A question for your Q&A episode: You already have a top rig, but is there anything you'd love to add to it? (Eg: bigger boat, generator, helicopter 😋 etc). And I suddenly have a craving for Chicken Risotto. 🙂

Is it outback cleanups job to pick up the rubbish you drove past and complained about rather than do it yourself like other youtubers do? Great vid though!
No you are dead right it is everyone's job to do it, we would normally pick up others rubbish 9 times out of 10, but with the rancid stench that was coming out of it I have my limits and with no bins near by for a couple of days I wasn't going to pick it up and have it near our caravan.
Bush camps are the best especially in the red dirt country. Just that feeling when you are alone out there.

Love your content mate but why do you have to harass the wildlife? Just view it from a distance in all its Australian beauty. Not sure if it’s a masculine thing but unnecessary not impressing anyone. People watch this and think they have to harass every bit of wildlife they come across. Maybe setting the wrong example?

Hi, great video, me and my Wife following you every episode, love your set up, Truck & Caravan, an Question for you because you have an Suspension ATX Cruise master with air bag’s it’s enough for you to inflate and deflate all your wheels from only supply line from the Caravan or you need extra air Compressor for ex fixed to your Truck or an portable one. The reason I asked is because I will have very similar set up waiting for my Lotus Trooper 23.3 triple bunks only instead a Ford I’ve got a Ram 1500 Limited Edition air bags suspension, thank you wishing you all the best in all you do Cheers!!!
