  • This episode we hit up the famous South Lefroy Bay on the Ningaloo Coast. we decide not to get the boat off and I am absolutely spewing that I don't. We discover all the beautiful sites all around South Lefroy and have a magical fire on the beach with some cooking that doesn't exactly go to plan.
I run through our solar and battery system with some new additions to keep us powered off grid for longer. the car gets tested on the way to an old whaling station and Jayde shows off her cooking skills in the kitchen with a beautiful soup.
last week was osprey bay so if you missed it be sure to check it out.

We are a family of 5 travelling Australia indefinitely in our new Lotus Caravan and our 2021 F350 from Harrison F-Trucks. We will take you to many destinations and let you know what works for us and what doesn’t, so you don’t make the same mistakes.
We are from Perth Western Australia and want to see as many destinations as we can together as a family, we never take the easy road and if we see a track, we always wonder where it will lead us, so we generally take it to see where it leads.
Thanks for watching and reading if you have made it this far down, hope you enjoyed.

Spare Anderson plugs soldering gear test lamp and the beloved welding gloves can't go wrong. Oh and the fencing wire.

It's a pity you didn't go check out the camp-sites on the southern end of North Lefroy Bay. Plenty of space between sites and much, much closer to the beach. We were on site 10, we fitted 2 caravans in there and at high tide, we were not even 10m off the water. A combination of where you were and those beach sites you showed us at South Lefroy.

The only problem with running the bms and dcbc together is one will turn off because it’s seeing the battery is fully charged with voltage coming in when it’s not

Very lucky people to be able to do this at your age, must cost a lot in fuel and 40 dollars for steak !

Interested to hear how you go with the extra solar panel and Anderson plug running of the DCDC charger to see if you do get the 80 amps charge or will the system balance out each other and still max out at 50amps. Great video once again 👍
