HUGE $35 lot of old phones!

- I bid on this lot of phones on eBay seeing as how there were so many phones I wanted from the past and a couple I had a long time ago.
I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane with some of these.
I did not expect SO MANY PHONES....
This is a LONG video, sorry in advance - but you get to see every single one in the lot.
I do need some old phone chargers especially for the LG, Sanyo, Motorola and Nokia phones if anyone has any! Please let me know!

When phone manufacturers actually cared about their customers.
My dream is to have a collection of new and old phones. If I ever had a collection I would maybe sell them. I'm not 100% sure if I would sell them but I would love to have a collection so I could maybe give some to my cousins for their birthdays.
Honestly I loved how cool older phones specifically from 2000-2005 looked they all had the metallic- plasticy-silver body and the blue back lit buttons. Wish newer flip phones still took some design features from those older phones. Most of them are really big and clunky now since they are targeted towards seniors with vision impairments. What a time. Sadly I wish I could have experienced some of that technology back then but I didnt get my first phone til 2009 it was a newer flip but at that time a lot of people were buying slider phones and the iPhone 3GS so I wasn’t such a big fan of my little flip phone, but now I miss them lol.
As a phone collector, I loved watching this video.

All that goo is something called rubber reversion. Basically all rubberised plastic starts out as a liquid. After a long time they start behaving like a latex, slowly reverting back to its liquid state.
Man I'm a huge fan of retro phones! I just love them and they're so fun. I'm not big on social media, like I'm not addicted and can be away from it for a long time. I grew up on these and owned about 5 of them. My very first one was a Samsung Juke! For a while I used a slider as my primary phone even when I had the iPhone X at the same time haha.
My favorite phone of all time was probably a Samsung reclaim (it was a vertical slide QUERTY phone)
The BlackBerry phones were one heck of a throwback as well

I’m so glad this video got recommended to me, I’m almost done with it and it was pretty fun seeing all those different phone designs!
Watching these kinds of videos makes me want a flip phone even more. I have a thing for flipping techs. I recently (basically since the pandemic) bought a Nintendo DSi and a New 3DS XL because I'm an adult that makes money now. 😅 I remember one orange flip phone my aunt had. Their was a game I got very addicted to. It was called "New York Nights: Success in the City" or something similar. I eventually found out about computers, internet and downloading. Sooooo I found more similar games like that. 😅 I used to play with her phones to the point that I broke 1 or 2. I guess I felt amazed by the flip phones back then. Even to this day, I stil have a spot for it. I mean, it comes from a person who bought two DS consoles in a span of a year. 🙃🤣 I'm not that capable of buying a switch....yet. I don't even know if I want one. I mean, it doesn't flip to protect the screen because I can get clumsy and just.....careless. (No wonder I broke my aunt's phones.)

Thank you for the open Time Capsule of cellphones. It made me feel awesomely impressed with how far we have come and nostalgic seeing the phones I had and others I wish I did have. Some of those could be an inspiration towards new designs.

My parents had those same LG flip phones with the side facing speakers! My brother ended up getting my mom's LG flip and I got my dad's old Motorola flip phone that he had before the LG and my parents got us each a cheap prepaid plan for those phones for Christmas one year.

The goo is the ruber coding that has gone old, and when the coding is old the ruber starts to turn into goo, soo thats why some of the phones are sticky
I enjoyed this video! The nokia 3310/3360 was my first mobile phone. I used to collect phones from all over the world. Someday I will add to my collection again.
As kid seeing people having these crazy phones I always wanted to try them
I think somebody already mentioned that, but back in the day nokias had the power button on the top. :)
The glue is the plastic itself. It started to turning back to oil. The Sony Ericsson view finder was actually a camera. You had to attach it to the phone to take pics.

Just as a note about the storm, it only clicks when it's powered on.
The first gen clicks without being on but the 2nd gen clicks only when on.

The last phone You showed from Sprint... The slider samsung... My favorite phone I've ever had... I still have it, It's maroon... I remember getting a $300 bill and It got cut off... I remember how expensive internet was, then $10 a gb and Now We have unlimited... I don't miss those Days at all... only thing I do miss is that No One needed cases for their phones; it's like Now Days We Have to treat phones like eggs...

I am going to admit that even though I have a modern phone I love these older phones and how they look.
My family used to have some of these phones back when I was a baby in 2008 till 2011 I think? Good times.
Those Nokia phones with the green and black screen was my first phone no way I'd love another
9:18 I fell of my chair laughing that looks like the 60s army whatchamacallit those giant brick like things they used to also use as weapons in case their ammo runs out and the knife gets lost in trenches... PS I was born in 06 so I only saw those things in movies that's where I seen them but that thing looks so much like those although comparably a lot smaller and possibly 50 pounds lighter🤣. Our boys back in those days had to have hulk like 💪.

Hi there is no more Sprint. They were taken over by T-Mobile so all those Sprint phones no longer work or can be activated Any more.

The Samsung flip at 13:18 was my first phone that was on a plan. It lasted 2 weeks before it ended up in the washer :(

@@IansTech No, it unfortunately did not survive :( I ended up with some really slim Nokia bar phone afterwards.
Ps. I've been thinking of starting my own collection for a while, it would be cool to have all the phones I have owned over the years again... watching your unboxings (and a few other channels) finally pushed me to do it! bought my first lot of older phones today, excited to get them (A few QUERTY, a handful of flip phones, a way older Nokia bar phone, and a few others)

I remember having the old Cingular Wireless the world's smallest flip phone in 2006 that was a prepaid phone. Because I remember the TV commercial it where the mother and daughter was fighting and then she handed her daughter the world's smallest flip phone!!! 😁📱❤️😁📱❤️😁📱❤️

That PDA phone at 11:38 does not take a proprietary charger. It takes a standard mini USB. I used to have a very similar phone except mine was for AT&T. Also that hole in the top is for a stylus
