I have an older manga recommendation for you. It's called: Kodocha. It's a comedy, coming of age, with some romance sprinkled in. If you're interested in the anime, it's in dubbed up untill the 3 season(cause they never finished the dub). But if you like subbed, it's available in subbed too. One more older anime that is soo good is: The Galaxy Railways. It's a Sci-fi adventure and it's so underrated. Grabbed me in the 1st episode. Plot is great as well as the 90s artstyle.
