Yes, heartbreakingly there are children starving to death as well as evil murderers in the world because free will exists. With enough resources in the world, no one need starve but the human condition means that there is greed, unbalanced wealth distribution and suffering. Only Christ can unite but you are defaming Jesus. And Jesus was not born in America but in Asia, Israel. Which is in the middle of the world. And yes praying gives hope to a hopeless. But who the hell are you snatching a hope of a jobless. As far as hungry kids in India or South Africa, many many Christian ministries are working there. Mother Teresa gave her life for poor people in India. But you who is blaming Jesus, I don't think you would have given 1 coin or changed 1 life.
