    Aaron and I do help each other a lot. We try to keep our builds as close as possible so we know people are getting their money’s worth.

    Nice! That old Dolmar 7900 platform is just incredible! Never cared much for Makita tools but it's good to see anything powered by Dolmar! That was the king of the 80cc saws in my opinion.

    You couldn't have two more honest & stand behind their port work builders. I wouldn't hesitate sending thems saws.

    Yeah..if it wasn't for Cajun I wouldn't be where I'm at ...he helped me tons getting my saws running like they do . I wanted to learn from him because I liked how his saws run...torque speed .🤙🏻😎

      @MitchellsBackyardLogging  Před rokem +2

      Thats why i like the way yall port u have speed and torq seems like with others u get only one or the the other yall sure can make a saw get after it for sure

      The reason i mention it i had a guy tell me and apparently he dont watch all yalls vids is why i touched on it i told him id sent saws to you and cajun and he was like cajun does short blow down not crazy about way he builds and i said had saws going to you and he said oh he got them figured out and i said well if u watch aarons channel he has a 372 that he says we was off in this one and the next one say what cajun taught me and it was ripping and i told him yall bounce stuff off of each other lol

      @@MitchellsBackyardLogging yeah..Cajun and me can pretty much run the same numbers .. because we grind real similar.......like I say Cajun taught me what I know because I wanted to build my saws to the best of my ability to run like his does

    You are definitely gonna end up with some very good saws coming from those 2 guys. Didn't catch a number on this video so let's go with #7900

    Good grief yes the used saw prices anymore are borderline laughable. I really love how the hobby has grown in some ways.. but I find myself missing the way things were 4-5 years ago when it was pretty much just Walt, Matt Olson and a couple of the professional porter's putting out saw videos. Old saws and parts were plentiful and fairly easy to be had for reasonable/cheap prices.

    #500i,that looks like it will be a great saw I like the weight and looks of it I always liked the dolmar saws they was good ones

    @Sethhaun78 Před rokem +1

    Wow .I thought the makita weighed more .I could have got 2 of them for price of 500i.there high here .like 1600 before after market add ons and before tax

  • @Sethhaun78

      @@MitchellsBackyardLogging I'm small guy .but used to be very 💪 strong.could bench repetitive 400 pounds and was superman. After my couple of commas and had poison teeth it did something to me and am no where near what I was even 5,6years ago .getting older. Abused myself and worked to hard for 30 years. Great full GOD kept me alive. But I struggle with hernia some days and lighter the better as far as doing removals and crawling,around theses steep hill s.mountains.....but still love big saw for bucking and felling ..thanks brotha

    I’ve debated about getting one before they are off the market. I’m a big fan of Makita in general. I’d probably already had bought one if the 7900 was makita teal instead of orange. Sounds dumb but it’s the truth
