*CORRECTION: The bow holder shown in the video is an added accessory and is NOT included with the Hybrid purchase. Sorry for the misunderstanding. However, the two plastic D-loops that come with the Hybrid can be used as a bow holder.
**CORRECTION: The tree fork noise comes from the powder coating on the inside of the fork. You can remove the coating by sanding or filing it off and that will eliminate the noise.

Turn the JX3 sticks the other way than you showed. The JX3 sticks are designed to fit on the seat when folded. They nest on the seat to where you don't even need a strap to hold them. Also, the JX3 stick w/top step makes an excellent one stick with a built in platform. The cleat is extremely fast to work and very stable. Paired with a 2 or 3 step aider, it works great.

Thanks for watching, Brian! It looks clunky but it feels like nothing when packing everything in. It's a little harder to one-stick with it but it works, and the comfort is awesome.
Just picked one of these up and have a handful of hunts and if you like to be comfortable while you hunt it’s for you. You will figure out all the climbing stuff when you get it. Great review.

This is the Cadillac Escalade of saddles. As usual job well done on a quality review! I was wondering what happened to the update after a 60 minute sit, and then i realized you just might have slept through it. That thing looks comfortable!

I really like my JX3 hybrid- hands down the most comfortable hybrid saddle setup out there. By comparison, I made a short sit in my regular saddle the other day for a short sit and was wishing that i had my JX3. Yes, it is heavier than a regular saddle, but comfort is superior to a regular saddle or lock on setup. I'm sold on the JX3.

Did they give you a discount code I know platinum pursuit outdoors has one. I took my method 2xl to our church man camp last year and turned a couple members into saddle hunters thanks to your two panel saddle review. One of the men recently got a jx3 and let me try it for a few minutes and I cannot wait to order one. Is there anything you don’t like about the jx3? I did get one but forgot to add it to the video so I put it in the description. Thanks for asking! That's awesome about the church man camp. The big thing I learned after hunting out of it for many hours and a few all day sits is that I have too much gear for the smaller dump pouches that attach to the Hybrid so I had to leave some of my gear behind. If you aren't self-filming and carrying in a bunch of gear it wouldn't be a problem. You could also tuck a smaller pack between the seat and frame as well.
I just went through your spreadsheet which is a great bonus, thanks. My issue is I am currently at 289 but still going down. Which, if any, of the saddles you have reviewed would you recommend for large hunters? I know I will be under the 300lbs weight limit, but I am worried about the waist/side pinch.

Great question, gcaskew (and sorry for the delay)! Well there are several great saddles out there but since you've mentioned you are a bigger guy I would recommend talking to the saddle manufactures that will custom build a saddle for you. One in particular is Custom Gear Modifications (CGM). If you contact Jerry (tell him I sent you) he will talk with you and custom build a saddle for you/your size. The Cobra saddle by CGM is a great single panel saddle with a pleat that expands for comfort.
As far as the hip pinch concern, I would order a HPE (Hip Pinch Eliminator) from Genesis 3D Printing (let Austin know I sent you) and you won't have to worry about ANY hip pinch from any saddle ever. It is a GREAT product. Hope that helps!
The whole point to saddle hunting is to cut weight carrying in if I’m gonna carry all that stuff I’d stick with my sticks and my LW hang on
Thanks for the comment! I hear what you're saying but for many folks the whole point in saddle hunting is simply being mobile and hunting trees with branches. Not all saddle hunters are minimalists but thanks for watching! 👍🏼
For me it was best not to go into this with light weight being the goal. My Summit mini climber SD is lighter than my saddle set up and the only way to make the saddle lighter is to only use one stick and that adds difficulty. I use the saddle for bow hunting only.
I tried that saddle was not for me an returned it.. great review of it though hope you had a great season.

I didn't measure it but I would guess about 18 feet with comfortable spacing (I'm 5'10").

Great question! Unfortunately I don't SRT climb so I'm not 100% sure on that. Just reach out to John (owner of JX3) and he can answer any question you have.
Looks like plenty of thought and years of design went into that setup. I didn’t hear you give a total weight but I’m assuming the consumers this will appeal to are not minimalist 👍
Totally agree, Dave! It is not for the minimalist. It came in at 15 lbs on the scale I used (including the lineman's rope, tether and 2 biners). Thanks for watching!

Absolutely! It truly is a great saddle and extremely comfortable.
The goal of Saddle Hunters is to be light weight whereas the goal of people who do a Rucking workout program is to carry heavy weight for long distances. I've just taken up Rucking and its funny that I was so worried about being light weight and I spent a lot of money to weigh less. If I continue Rucking I will have to spend a lot of money to weigh more. 😂
😂😂 Well as a saddle hunter and self filmer I feel like I'm rucking every time I go hunting! I'm definitely not saddle hunting to cut down on weight. Thanks for watching. 👍🏼
