@Chatsworth Osborne, Jr. Yes and No. The Legion has a slimmed down frame and upgraded trigger over the MK25. Idk about the equinox but if you want a thinner frame with a trigger guard undercut then I believe the Legion is the only one that offers that, maybe the Equinox too
Haha I'm in the same boat. Sadly my state is turning shitty too so I'm really tempted to get it before a high capacity magazine ban. Along with ordering a bunch of mecgar 18 rounders for it
Lol dude SAME. As a kid I had a p226 airsoft gun and I just fell in love with the design of it. A couple years ago I started getting into real firearms and it took me a while to track down what that exact gun was but when I did I was equally stoked and depressed. I thought it was cool that it happened to be the navy seals sidearm, but also sad that it cost SO much money. I’ve finally got to the point where it’s killing me that I down have one yet though. I’ve been eyeballing one for $1,200.00 I know it’s not a great deal but they have a layaway plan so I’m thinking of just doing it. I’ve had good luck in the past buying guns on layaway on gunbroker to get guns that I couldn’t necessarily afford in that moment. Just the prospect of having a real mk25 in 3 months is irresistibly tempting.
I kept mine on layaway for a long while. It was definitely worth it for me! Cool to see im not the only person with a p226 airsoft gun haha. If you get your hands on one, you will not be disappointed.
Good video and nice overview. Just picked up a nitron 226 in 40 cal. There’s just something about a 226. It fits the hand perfectly even with medium sized hands and 40 cal is no problem in an aluminum frame gun of this size.
Just a FYI, the Mk25 comes with the SRT trigger, Short reset trigger, also remove most of the lithium grease from the internals this will bring down the DA trigger pull to about 6.5-7 the SA will be around 3.5-4. Best weapon in the world today!!!
I would say it depends on your intended use for the pistol. It may be a little on the heavy side for concealed carry, however for a home defense pistol I would recommend it to a first time gun owner. It’s reliable, has a good amount of rounds per magazine, and has a rail to attach a flashlight. Make sure to take it to the range and practice with the double- single action of the p226, it feels different from a striker fire pistol like a glock that many people are accustomed with. If you practice with it and get the feeling of the pistol down, then this would make a solid option!
@@jason4453 These are just the original sights the gun came with. Other models might come with different sights but the mk25 comes with these metal night sights that are great.
Yeah I ordered mine from a retailer. It took 7 months to arrive. I picked it up last may, but it was worth the wait since I have other guns! Good news is: during that wait, I just made layaway payments so the price didn't end up feeling like such a hit since I'm not rich!
I picked up new MK25 yesterday, she's a sweetheart.
Congrats! Hope you enjoy it.
Where did you happen to find it
@@michaelk8243 my local shop got some!
@@acsharp awesome! Hoping to get one soon. Don’t want to resort to gun broker I keep checking the shops

Love to see them re release it but with aR Mount
Yeah, they will probably keep it the way it is.

Really? My local gun shop told me MK25 never comes with SRT, but you can spend around 50 bucks buy one and it is easy to install
@@xixiangweng1743 You are correct. The mk25 does not come with the SRT.
It doesn’t come with the srt kit

Love the black, but can’t seem to find the desert version anywhere anymore unfortunately
Yeah I haven’t seen one in forever.

Dumb question but did you mean different versions of the p226 or the p226 mk?
No question is dumb around here. Different versions of the p226 my man, this is the only mk25.
1:24 Could you please check for me, how thick this certificate is. More likely 180 gram paper or 200 or 250?
Would this be perfect for a first time gun owner??

I have a P226 MK25 with the E2 grips in .357sig it is not the navy edition but sweet pistol though
Never tried the e2 grips, im curious to how they feel.

1:18 Hi, could you please measure this black manual and tell me the dimensions: width x length. Thank you.
i pick up a old mk24. that gun is saweet
I really regret selling my Mk25. It is the most accurate 9mm pistol I had ever shot. Thinking about trading my Springfield 1911 to get another one.
🔫🦅🔫
Looks like a different coding on the de cocker
Its most likely coated with their corrosion resistant coating. Same for the internals of the mk25.
@@acsharp Unfortunately it looks like it’s the opposite of that
@@lordvito3395 What do you mean?
For the night sights is it #8 Front/#8 Rear or #8 Front/#6 Rear or vice versa? On sight height?
I believe it is #8 for both front and rear.
