- Dak Prescott had his best playoff game of his career last night in the 31-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the Dallas Cowboys easily covered as road favorites. Dak threw for over 300 yards, 24 rushing yards and five total touchdowns. Tom Brady finished with 351 passing yards on 66 attempts, the second most in a playoff game, two touchdowns and a red-zone interception. Both are true. With all Brady has accomplished you can’t deny that he isn’t goat status. The buccaneers also suck though. The O line isn’t good, the receivers are mid at best, and their run game is horrible. The only “good” thing about the bucs is their defense this year and even they didn’t do well defensively against the cowboys.
From a Cowboys fan, Chris Godwin played his heart out. You could tell early he had some kind of shoulder/chest injury and was in significant pain. He kept going over the middle, making the catches, and taking the hits.
He's one of the few who did. I've never seen a less engaged playoff team. Even the 7-9 Seahawks and 7-8-1 Panthers a few years ago played with more pride and drive.
Godwin is the best Buc player in a decade. Destined for the ring of honor. Always shows up.

I was in utter shock and disbelief watching that game last night. For the first time in really what's been a long time, the Cowboys looked like a well oiled machine. Dak was making some pretty good throws, and Dalton Schultz made two really good grabs himself. The run game was what it has always been with Tony Pollard, and that defense was as stingy as you've ever seen it. Mich Parsons was INSANE last night.
The running game wasn't getting anything until Dak got the safety out of the box by making excellent decisions and throws

Stop the cap dude Dallas played a good game but you pushing it .Dallas didn't have a great running game. The kicker missed 4 extra point. The Cowboys was 3 and out on multiple plays one was ruffing the passer. Dallas did two pass interference but nothing was called. Tampa Bay was in the red zone 3 times twice within the 5 yard line and all of them throws which should have been runs. Tampa Bay average was at least 4 yards pre carry and no runs that's on the coach not Brady. Another point when Tampa Bay was driving it was 4 and 3 and you don't go for it when you are 3 touchdown behind naw dude this wasn't great it was just a good game against a bad team.

If thats Zeke, he runs EXACTLY where the play is called, and gets plowed by David for a yard. Ive watched him his whole career, and he just doesnt deviate from the play, and sometimes you gotta think on the fly. Pollard can, and frankly thats a big reason why hes been better than Zeke for two years now.

People can talk about the offensive line all they want but at times when Tom had time in the pocket it seemed the ball was too short , overthrown, and just not accurate.

You'll need a *LOT* more than that. You'll need a total-breakdown in the secondary of the 49ers (which is possible because Lenior and Ward have been getting beat like rented-mules by stud wide-receivers.) You also need a complete-breakdown on offense of the 49ers. You need to shut down the run, and force Purdy to beat you with his arm ALONE. That's the only chance Dallas has.

No excuses have to be made for Tom Brady or for the rest of the Buccaneers team. The excuses and the apologies need to come from the owner(s) and general manager who did not provide a qualified coaching staff for a otherwise very talented group of football players. The coaches were average at the very best in 2019 and went rapidly down hill with the changing of Bowles to head coach and keeping Leftwich as offensive coordinator. It is hilarious that Bowles was awarded the head coach position after the dwindling performance of the defense at the end of last year and the totally disastrous play in the playoffs that probably kept the Bucs out of the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay will lose the best quarterback to have ever played the game next year and probably continue to fall to the bottom of the entire NFL team roster... unless there are some serious coaching changes over the spring and summer. The Bucs had their chance at a dynasty and blew it.
If Sean Peyton or Kyle Shanahan ran this team with Brady. They would win 3 super bowls in a row. This is the most underutilized talent I've ever seen. It's a disgrace.

The calls were going the Cowboys way. Bail out roughing on a Dak incompletion, imaginary penalty on Jensen after a big 3rd down conversion, ticky tack holding, etc. Looked like refball.

I enjoy the season I work 6 days a week I'm 54. Work 3rd shift so Sunday and Monday night game's I missed Thursday night game's taken off regular tv to a plus station so I missed 54 game's a season. But Sunday 1pm to 8pm I got my football. I don't gamble I don't care about fantasy leagues or Superbowl I just enjoyed the season. My Saturday is college my Sundays is pro.its over I had fun and look forward to next year thank you guys thank you skip and Shannon and hosts it's been a blast
